At hearing the news of the supernatural world behind real, Linkin understably ran from Grams house.
He had just kept running until he found himself in centre of town where he saw everyone huddled around grabbing candles. Okay, no need to panic. You've just found out that vampires exists and your an off brand witch.
"Linkin!" Someone called. He turned an saw it was Matt. "Hey man. You all good?" He asked.
Linkin quickly just pushed everything down getting his breath under control. "Yair I'm okay." He smiled.
"Well come on, everyone is getting ready." He said with a smiel grabbing his hand and dragging him to get a candle.
Matt stuck with Link seeing he was off. Someone came up an lit his candle. He turned with a dorky smile that made Linkin scoff as Matt pressed his candle to his lighting it.
Eventually everyone in our group huddled together. Linkin saw Stefan come over and he quickly excused himself.
He wanted to get away from everyone. So he decided the best way to do that was climb up a buildings fire escape. He made it to the top with a heavy breath. Befor he knew it Linkin found himself standing on the ledge of the building standing on the edge.
He looked up and watched the comment fly over head leaving a trail of blue behind it as it illuminated the night sky. He closed his eyes taking in the cool night air. He felt something, almost like a spark of energy humming around him. Something came over him as he tried to reach out to it. He felt the tip of his finger burn and he jerked back seeing an orange light fade from his finger.
Then his mood quickly changed as a chain of thoughts he had been trying to keep down build up.
Drake.
Tyler hurting him again.
Finding out about the Supernatural.
Stefan behing a vampire.
The round house of abuse his dad and Carol give.
Hurting Grams.
He took a small step forward and was back on the ledge looking down at the potentially deadly decent. He was starting to sniffle getting emotional as a tear fell from his face.
"Don't tell me your gonna jump." Came a board voice behind him.
Linkin got frightened and slipped. He went to scream but was caught under his arm by the guy. He stopped moving as his dark vrown eyes met the mans sky blue orbs.
"What to do with you?" He said with a grin.
The sound of grunting brought Linkin back to reality as he saw a distraught Viki Donovan scrambling to get to her feet.
"Viki!" Linkin said shocked. He quickly got out of the mans grip racing to help the distressed girl.
"Linkin?" She asked.
"Viki what happend to you?" He asked seeing her state.
She just looked behind him and her eyes widened. "V..vamp..ire." she drawled out pointing over Linkins shoulder.
Immediately alarmed he turned around but saw they blue eyed guy that caught him was gone.
"We need to run." Viki said already gunning it for the fire escape. Linkin ran after her but they only got to the railing before a woosh was heard and Viki was thrown back and Linkin got pushed on the ground.
He saw stars as he took in a heavy ghasp of air after the wind got knocked out of him. The sound of Viki screaming and yelling brought his sight to the roofs edge where he was moments ago. The dark haired man with blue eyes had Matts sister on the ledge, holding her by the arm as he taunted throwing her over the drop.

He went to get up but in the blink of an eye he was on his feet with a hand gripping the back of his shirt.
"Well hello brother. Have you been eating bunnys?" His raspy voice mocked looking at something.
Links eyes followed his and saw a worried looking Stefan looking from him to Viki. Brother? He thought.
"Damon you don't have to do this." He replied.
"Oh come on Stef. Isn't this fun." Damon said with a sick grin.
"Please. Just let them go okay." He pleeded.
"Okay." He smirked and pulled the two in his grip back they would fall over yhe ledge.
"Damon don't!" Stefan yelled to wich he huffed an complied, yanking the two back to stand on there own stillnin his grip.
"Why don't we have a little bit of fun instead. You can feed on the little scamp here that your so fond of, while I take a bite out of the town junkie here." Damon said eagerly as his eyes turned red and dark bulging veins appeared beneath them.
"Don't hurt them." Stefan pleeded making Damon groan.
"Fine." He smirked throwing Viki and Linkin forward as they both feel infront of Damon." But you might he said ominously.
Linkin was having an inner panic trying to catch his breath wincing at the new scraps on his hands. Damon leaned over to Viki who tried to crawl away while Stefan stood there confused.
Damon leant down an brushed some of Vikis hair from her face. "What attacked you in the woods?" He asked her.
"I don't know." She said shakily.
"Are you sure." Damon cooed with a sickly sweet smile.
Linkin looked up panting and saw Vikis face cringe in pain as she reached through the haze in her mind for the repressed memories. Then her eyes widened in fear at Damon. "Vampire. It was you!" She yelled at Damon.
"No." Damon sung.
"Yes!" She screamed.
Damon then grabbed her by the back of the neck.
"Let her go." Linkin groaned trying to get to his feet.
"Shut it twink." Damon snarled before turning back to Viki.
"Who attacked you?" He asked her again as she tried to fight her way out of his grip. "It was you, it was you!" She cried out.
"No it wasn't me." Damon said making the struggling girl look into his eyes.
Stefan saw where this was going. "No Damon stop it." He tried.
"What are you doing to her?" Linkin growled getting to his feet.
"He's compelling her." Stefan said.
Linkin then remebered when Stefan said that the compulsion wasn't working on him at Grams house earlier that day. Still confused and not really understanding, he focused on the a dazed looking Viki with a hovering Damon. Linkin went to take a step towards them to help her but Stefan sped to him an pulled him over to where he was before, standing infront of him protectively.
"It was Stefan, wasn't it." Damon said with a sadistic smile looking up with a raised brow, suprised by Stefans snatch and grab.
Linkin started to get angry and went to stomp around Stefan only to get grabbed round his wrist firmly.
"Damon don't do this." Stefan repeated.
"It was Stefan." Viki repeated almost in a daze befor slowly turning to face Stefan. Her breathing hitched again. "It was Stefan, it was you!" She cried thrashing around now blaming Stefan as Damon pulled them to there feet.

"Now what are you gonna do Stefan. You gonna let them run the streets screaming vampire." Damon exclaimed dramatically.
"If you drink fresh human blood you could wipe it all away. What do you say.?" He offered showing his vampire face.
"Is that it? Is that was this is all about." Stefan said coming to a realisation. "You want me to feed on blood with you and reminisce about the old times." Stefan argued.
"Why not." Damon shrugged with his signature grin.
"Because thats not me Damon! It hasn't been for years and it won't be again." He said with conviction, not taking his eyes of his brother.
Linkin was trying to reef his arm free of Stefans grip but it was to no avail as the vampire kept a gentle but firm hold. Damon seemed to ponder what Stefan had said. After a sigh he turned a still panicked Viki so there eyes met again.
"Forget what has happened here and find a dark corner and wait until someone finds you." He compelled her before he shoved her forward.
Her eyes seemed like she was looking in the distance before she they went back into focus and walked towards the fire escape. Stefan watched as Viki began to climb down the black metal steps before turning an making eye contact with Linkin at vamp speed startling him.
"You will go and not remeber what happened here either. You'll find Viki and take her back to the grill." He said the same way as the time he tried to use compulsion, but it was differnt. Linkin didn't feel the energy he absorb fade or see Stefans pupils rapidly change size.
"He's not trying to compel me. He must just want me to do what he said." Linkin nodded befor slowly turning and making his way to the fire escape.
Damon made a whistling noise as he watched the little Lockwood walk out of sight. "Now that one is a looker." Damon teased. His smirk somehow grew bigger at the look of anger Stefan was giving him. "We both know your compulsion won't hold. All he has to do is think a little hard, one headache later an boom! He's gonna have to be killed because he'll know what we are." Damon chuckled darkly.
Stefan looking to the ground thinking over what Damon said. "I'm just gonna have to trust him." With that thought in mind he just looked at his smug older brother.
...
Linkin had climbed down the building and found Viki hiding behind a dumpster.
She had no memory of what had happened an deciding to listen to Stefan, he got Vik an lead the way back to the Grill.
"Matt!" Linkin called out seeing the paniced blonde.
"Link? Viki!" He said relived seeing the two. Tyler and Jeremy were there an came running as well.
"What happend?" Tyler asked.
"Is she okay?" Jeremy asked.
"Where have you two been? You ran off at the candel lighting." Matt said giving Linkin a once over before checking Viki. "An you just left." He added looking at a high Viki.
"I got overwhelmed and just walked off. That's when I found her behind a dumpster out of it." Okay so I may be throwing Viki under the bus but... I don't need questions right now. Plus she kickstarted Jeremy's whole druggie faze so, screw her. Linkin said and thought.
"Thank you." Matt said.
Linkin just nodded as Matt took hold of his sister an ushered her away.
"Are you okay?" Jeremy asked as if just noticing Linkin. Tyler just stood there watching with a glair.
"I'm fine." Linkin sighed out.
"Are you sure?" Jeremy said seeing the scratch marks on his body.
"He said hes fine." Tyler spoke up still holding his glair.
Jeremy went to talk back. "Just don't please." Linkin huffed not in the mood for the two's constant bickering.
Jeremy held his tongue an just turned and walked off. Tyler let out a scoff grining.
Linkin was already walking for the door when Tyler noticed he was walking away.
"Dad said he wants you home tomorrow." Tyler called out to his brother.
Great. Linkin mentally groaned.
...
"I'm sorry I ran out. Everything was just running through my head an I was freaking out. Then I hurt you and then you an Stefan said that Vampire's were real."
"I understand my child." Grams interupted with a soft smile. She reached out to try an comfort the child but he jerked back.
"No, don't touch me. I don't want to hurt you again." He pleeded looking at his hands.
Grams slowly reached out again from across the dinning table and gently clasped her hands around Linkins.
He started panicking trying to pull out of her iron clad grip.
"Relax child." She said. Linkin suddenly felt a familiar surge of energy and looked at his hands to see them glowing orange.
"Grams let go." He pleeded but the woman just kept her composure and a kind smile.
"Just breath my boy. In an out." She instructed.
Linkin thought Grams was going nuts but quickly obliged, following her breathing and within seconds he felt the surge stop. Grams smile grew as they looked down and saw his hands were no longer glowing.
"But how?" He drawled out suprised.
"It is your power and yours alone to control." The woman said ominously.
Linkin couldn't help but smile. But he then remebered what happened last time he did this to her. "Wait. How are you still up? Are you okay?" He asked worried.
"I'm fine little one." She chuckeld. "I just wasn't prepared for it last time."
"I still don't know what it even is I did?" He said pulling his hands away to look at them regretfully.
Grams just sighed. "Don't waste your thoughts on the past." She said with a stern look.
Linkin took a deep gulp. "Yes ma'am." He quickly complied.
"Now im going to give you something to help you." She said getting up from her seat to her bookshelf. Linkin watched her confused when she pulled out a book bound in leather.
"What is that?" He asked the woman who wore a mischievous grin as she made her way back to her seat.
"This belonged to a friend of my great grand mother's back in 1864." She said sliding over the bound book.
He looked down at it then back up. Grams gave him a motion to go ahead.
With that Linkin opened the leather covering to see deceivingly small old book.
It wasn't so big that he couldn't fit into his back poket.
"I'm still confused. What is it?" He asked opening it up. Some of, if not all the words he was seeing were in another language. "Motus?" He thought. "But that's latin for motion." He said aloud so focused on the book he missed Grams smile of pride.
"Now my boy I won't you to say the word and focus on this." She said grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl on the table before placing it infront of him.
"What?" He asked completely at a loss.
"I need you to say the word and focus on the apple." She repeated.
"But-"
"Uh." She interupted before sternly motioning to the apple.
Linkin still confused picked up the apple, looked back to the page to get the word before gazing the round red fruit. "Motus." He said plainly. Much to his expectations nothing happened. "I don't get it." He admitted.
Sheila gave him a flat look befor sighing. "What did you feel when our hands touched and yours glew?" She asked him.
He thought on what she said. "Well when I touched you and my hands started glowing I felt like, a surge of energy rushing through my whole body. Almost like a hit of adrenaline." He said.
"Can you still feel it?" She asked.
"I'm not really sure." He said looking to the side.
"Okay. I want you to close your eyes for me." She said earning a reluctant look from the boy. She returned it with her own stern one that made Linkin instantly close his eyes and sit up straight. "Good." She said with a coy smirk.
"What now?" He asked.
"I want you to look within. Remeber the feeling you had and search for it."
"She really dose go a little bit crazy with this witchy mubo jumbo. Better just do what she says even if it is a little coo-coo." He thought. He began remebering how it felt when he touched her before and he felt this spark of power. He sat there for a few moments until he got a slight tingle in his chest. "I think I've found it." He said quietly, distracted by the thing he was feeling.
"Now imagine, think of that energy as flint to your steel while the words you speak are kindling for a fire." She instructed.
"I think I understand." He said.
"Now imagine that energy moving down your arm and out your hand into the apple. Like flint down a steel rod and make spark." She said.
Linkin following her instruction imagined the energy flowing down his arm into his hand. Forming a spark of powers.
"Say the word as your kindling with the spark as your power." She said.
"Motus." He wispered. "I don't really feel anything." He said.
"Open your eyes." Sheils said.
He opened one eye slowly only for the other to follow shocked as they spread wide. The red apple was floating in a slow spin over his open hand. He looked up at a proud Sheila Bennett before turning back to the apple utterly amazed.
In his moment, he lost focus and the apple dropped back into his hand. "But. But how?" He asked not taking his eyes off the fruit.
"You my boy are a witch. Your just a little different to the rest of us is all." Shelia said smiling amused at the little Lockwood.
Hey people 👋. An those who don't identify as that.
The last bit was kinda confusing I think for most people. Like how Grams guided him to actually use magic but I get it an I hope you all understood it as well. 😊
So what did ya'll think about this one?
Also I haven't done a full read through yet for editing an I apologise for any mistakes that I have made and missed. If anyone sees any dont be afraid to tell me. 😄 ❤

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)
