Chapter 40: The Leaving Billionaire.
"Overthinking usually kills the vibes"
Amyrah stared at the stars glimmering in the night skies, lost in her thoughts.
What if what chachi implied became true? Would she be scattered and broken like her mother and sister?
Breaking her chain of thoughts was Kayan, snaking his arms around her waist.
"You thinking about what Rushda Chachi said?" he questioned her and she turned her body to look up at him.
"How did you know?"
"Because I am Kayan and I feel your thoughts" he replied, tightening his arms around her.
"Forget her, Amyrah. You know I would never even dream about leaving you" he said and Amyrah smiled at him.
"You sure about that?" she asked and he nodded.
"More than anything in this world" he replied, placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Prove me" she replied and he smirked.
"Admit it, you want me to kiss you" he said and she laughed.
"I thought you could feel my thoughts? How could you let this one slip?" she winked causing him to vibrate in laughter.
"I didn't. I simply wanted you to admit that you wanted me to kiss you"
"Why are we talking about this as if its the weather we are discussing?"
"Because, perhaps it is"
With that, he leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. This time, both of them fully aware of what was happening.
He kissed her passionately, while she turned her whole body to face his, in his arms and placing hers around his neck as she did so.
He smiled as he pulled her even more closer to him, feeling her gasp as he did so.
He was the first to pull away and smiled in victory down at her. She glared at him, as both caught onto their much needed oxygen.
"I have always wanted to do that" he whispered to her, tugging her stray hair back, behind her ears.
She did nothing, simply stared at him.
"What is it?" he asked her and she shrugged, slowly smiling up at him.
"I may be liking my new life. And perhaps whatever happens, I would be able to get back up. But if you dare be with another woman then me, I will personally kill you and make it look like an accident"

He let out a laugh at this.
Amyrah knew that Kayan would never do such a thing to her, but her brain always wanted to be on the safe side.
But she forgot that there was no safe side when it came to love. And with Kayan, definitely not.
"You know....." he began and Amyrah looked up to him in his arms.
"Hmmm?" she replied, still tasting the sweetness on her lips.
"Dolphins are really smart"
This caused Amyrah to pout.
"Why did you say that now?" she questioned and he laughed.
"I don't know. I simply thought of it and said it" he replied looking out to the darkness.
"Hmmmm"
"Hmmmm"
The two stood in comfortable silence, one staring out in the darkness, the other almost asleep in his arms.
When Kayan realized the beauty in his arms was falling asleep, he picked her up bridal style and carried her to their bedroom. He placed her on the left of the bed, before pulling the comforter over her body and placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Allah Hafiz" he whispered to her before walking out of the room into the joined living room.
Taking his laptop and phone, Kayan began his endless work.
The priority being the scandal that would be caused if his business falls down.
Letting out a sigh, he dialed the number he knew would have a solution.
"Kayan, As salam alaikum!"
"Wa alaikum mus salaam, uncle. Is Yahyah home?" he questioned and the older man laughed.
"I still do not understand why you simply don't call his phone" the man replied and Kayan chuckled.
"That is because he hardly answers any calls, even Yazdan's calls and that says alot for they are best of friends" replied Kayan and the old man let out a small laugh again.
"He must be under one of those heavy trucks, again"
"Is he home yet?" this time Kayan's tone was that of urgency.
"No, I am afraid not. Why don't you try calling his cell?"
"Sure thing uncle M"
"Alright. Allah hafiz and my salaam to all"
"Allah Hafiz"
Kayan fiddled with his phone and dialed Yahyah's number.
It rang a few times before he picked up.

"As salamu alaikum, Bhai"
"Wa alaikum mus salaam"
"You got married and did not even inform us!!" Yahyah said and Kayan chuckled.
"Sorry about that. I thought Yazdan would have informed you"
"He did"
"Anyway, I will tell you all about it later. I called for something really important" said Kayan, shifting to the edge of his seat.
"Which is?"
"My main controlling system in Melbourne is going haywire and there is no one that can fix it. i am trying to contact Logitech but no one is giving me a positive respond. Yahyah, if the information in my system goes out to the world, it would create chaos! The videos, audio, documents and other data, all store something that is against some person of the influential world." Kayan explained and the male on the other end replied a yes.
"I will call and try to get Shumayll Edris on the line. I can ask him to check all of it and fix it. I think he is one of the best so far we've got" said Yahyah and Kayan nodded.
"I tried getting hold of him, but he is very busy"
Yahyah laughed at this.
"Of course he is but when the business partner of his bestfriend is in need, I think they can make exceptions"
"And you forgot to mention that to us, right?" said Kayan sarcastically and Yahyah laughed.
"Yazdan knows, he was there with me when all this happened"
"Sure"
"Alright bhai, my salaam to all. I have work to do" said Yahyah and Kayan checked his watch.
"This late?"
"Yes my brother. Work has no timing" at this Kayan had to agree for who would know this better than him.
"Of course. Alright then, Jazak Allah Khair for the help, Yahyah" said Kayan and the lad replied a its okay.
"Allah hafiz"
With that, the two hung up and began their individual work.
The following morning, Amyrah was up at 4am for the prayers. And she was dreading the followup as Kayan was scheduled to leave at 6am. After the prayers, she helped him pack.
"Are you sure about this?" she asked him and he nodded, putting his cards in his wallet.
"Dead. I am meeting Shumayll Edris at 2pm today and I think we can work this out, thanks to Yahyah"
"Yahyah?" questioned Amyrah, straightening her posture at the bed where she was bent, putting things in his suitcase.
"Yahyah is Yazdan's best friend." replied Kayan, turning to her.
Amyrah's face scrunched up in confusion.
"Best friend?" she questioned and Kayan nodded.
"Yes best friend. Why?" he questioned her in his own confusion.
"Nothing. Its just.......... Yazdan seems so closed off. Shy perhaps. He hasn't even properly talked to me yet! I never took him to be a social person" jested Amyrah and Kayan stared at her before breaking into a chuckle.
"He is reserved. Not shy. Major difference wife!" he said, walking towards her. He snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her to him.
"-And as for barely talking to you, he takes time. All of them do. Well except Safwah. The guy can talk to everyone and anyone. Literally!"
Amyrah laughed at his statement. It was true though.
"And when will you come back?" she questioned him, straightening his tie.
He smiled down at her.
"This Thursday, before the Duaa. And I promise" he said, placing a kiss on her forehead and she closed her eyes to relish this moment for she won't be getting any of it for the next three or so days.
"In sha Allah"
"In sha Allah" he laughed and confirmed, holding her at his arms length.
"Oh before you leave, make sure to kiss-" she could not say more when his lips were on hers. His hands cradled her face as his lips gently kissed hers, molding perfectly in their own little dance. The kiss ended as soon as it started for someone had yelled a 'OH SHIT'.
Timing.
Do you think that the mentality of girls having to endure whatever comes their way in their in-law's house is right? No matter how harsh it is?
