Chapter 21- New entrance?

'There is nothing limiting you except yourself'

Ehaan messaged Aaiyla, telling her that he was almost home so she excused herself to attend to her husband.

Amyrah took the hint and immediately followed suit, just to leave that place.

Why? Things were getting a little too tense with Kayan Zaeef.

Amyrah walked to the living room of the first floor and halted in the middle, absentminded playing with her phone in deep thought.

Maybe he is the one? Wallahi, what if he cheats like every other man? But then again, he did say he meant it. He did claim to pray for you. Arrgghhhh! Why can'-

"AMYRAH?"

Amyrah jumped, slightly startled as her phone flew out of her hand and hit the door edge before falling to the floor, leaving a very stunned Kayan at the doorway.

"Uhhhhh......." said Kayan bending down to pick up the phone, all the while keeping his eyes on Amyrah.

"Uh hi" she finally recovered and straightened her stance.

Kayan nodded, checking her phone in the process. It was slightly cracked but it was doing good considering it fell from that height.

While he did that, Amyrah took her time to study him. He wore black nikes sweatpants, maroon 'TRAPSOUL' hoodie and black socks. His hair was styled to the back and he looked good.

What even?

Her thoughts were overwhelming.

"So whats up?" he casually asked her, giving her phone back.

She shrugged, taking it.

"I take it you were thinking when I interrupted?" he said, smirking as he leaned on the doorframe.

Daaayyyaaammm!! Shut up inner voices!

Amyrah was having an internal battle.

"Kinda" She muttered and he nodded, pursing his lips together.

"Whatever you said out there........" he began and she held her hand up.

"Can we not do this here? If they find out........" she whispered, rushing to him frantically.

He chuckled lowly, shoving his hands into the pockets of his hoodie.

"Of course. I gather that much that they don't know about us. I hope you intend to tell them soon?" he teased her, speaking softly.

Amyrah's eyes widened.

"What? What about us?" she shot back, eyes flaming. Kayan would pay a thousand grands to see that look on her face!

He could not keep it in before he burst out laughing.

"I am so so sorry!" he said, after sobering up. And she slapped him. His upper arm must be stinging in pain by now. Or so she hoped.

"Why would you do that? What if someone heard you?" she questioned him, taking a seat on one of the tables, glaring at him.

"No one did. Anyway- I got you something" he said, smiling genuinely.

Her eyes twinkled and he could see she was excited. Like a kid on Christmas.

He asked her to follow him.

"No" she clearly stated.

"You want it or no?" he questioned and she shrugged.

"I do but I don't want to go out" she said and he sighed, rubbing his forehead.

"Ya Allah, being a lover in this generation is so hard!" he muttered to himself hoping Amyrah did not catch that. But she was Amyrah. Of course she heard that!

"Hey!" she slapped his right arm again, causing it to sting.

"Jeez woman! How many times do you have to hit me?" he questioned her, playfully glaring as he rubbed his arm.

She grinned at him.

"So what did you get me?" she asked him. She did not understand why she was suddenly so hyper. It was very Un-Amyrah like.

"You will get it later" he winked when they heard Ehaan and Aaiyla's voices.

"Ass-ta-la-vista- baby" he winked again before walking outside where his siblings and others were.

Unknown to them, Karman was standing there, eyes wide and a horrified expression on his face.

Wallahi, bhai?

His only thought.

"So guys, what say a road trip before the wedding?" asked Ehaan as they all stood in the line of Buffet.

"Around Viti Levu? Are you serious?" asked Aaiyla, playfully hitting his chest with her shoulder since she was infront of him in the line.

"Yes honey. Dead serious. I mean it will be fun and a good sightseeing for the boys and Kulthum" he said, putting fish into his plate.

"Oh my Allah! I love you so much!!" she cooed as they walked towards their seat.

Ehaan gave her a peck on the cheeks as they took their seat.

Amyrah, who saw the entire exchange smiled to herself.

Now thats the kinda man you need in your life!

"And maybe I am that kinda man?"

Again, Kayan startled her and this time, her gravy and chicken spilled onto her dress from the plate.

She glared at Kayan for it.

"What? I just read your thought and answered it!" he smirked, putting a piece of chicken in his mouth and slowly chewing it.

"And how did you know what I was thinking?" questioned Amyrah and he smirked again.

Swallowing the food in his mouth, he spoke.

"Your eyes my lady" he replied, picking up another piece of chicken.

"Want it?" he questioned, thrusting the chicken piece on fork infront of her face.

She glared at him, glared at him and glared at him until the crickets began in the background. Then without warning, she bit it, causing the fork to fall off and she grinned slyly.

"Revenge is sweet, kind sir" she said, walking away.

An unintentional smile made its way on his lips as he put his fist over his heart.

'One day' he whispered to himself.

"So guys, what say?" asked Ehaan and the siblings thought for a moment.

Go or not go.

And the Zaeef siblings turned to Kayan, expecting a no but then again, he has been surprising them alot.

"Okay"

With that, the cheers began.

"So we leave tomorrow? Around 9?" said Ehaan and everyone nodded.

"PM right?" said Safwah and Ehaan shook his head.

"AM"

And the groans began.

"We need competant and early birds as drivers" said Kulthum "-We don't want to die"

"Good then, we will decide tomorrow morning who will drive"

with that, everyone retired.

Ruha and Raha were also invited for the trip. Except they had no idea what the heck was going to happen!

Kayan showered and lay on his bed when Yazdan and Sahl entered his room.

"Go away" he stated but as usual, the brothers did not listen.

Sahl got into the bed from left while Yazdan took the right. Soon Kayan was squashed between his two gigantic brothers.

"So, what was the chat going on with bhabhi?" asked Sahl casually. A reply was given back surely, but it was in the form of a slap.

"Owww" whined Sahl, rubbing his forehead.

"Now now big brother, what is it?" asked Yaz when his phone lit up. He checked it and immediately frowned.

"Give me a minute or so" with that Yazdan was gone, leaving a very confused Kayan and Sahl.

"Anyways, so what happened?" asked Sahl excitedly.

"Dude you know its awkward right?" said Kayan and Sahl grinned, putting his right leg over Kayan.

"Its called bromance!"

"Right"

Sahl slowly fell asleep, Yazdan returned and he too slowly fell asleep. But Kayan could not sleep at all.

Kayan checked the time to be 11:50pm.

"Okay baby brother, go to your room" he stated, sitting up on his bed.

Neither Sahl nor Yaz made any move so he left them. Quietly got off the bed, took out a black bag from the closet and wore his flip flops before walking downstairs. He shut the front door and checked to see if anyone was still awake.

He walked out of their gates and towards Amyrah's residence. He took out his phone and dialed her number, hoping she would pick up.

Finally she picked up.

"Heellooo" she drawled in a sleepy voice.

"Hello darling. Its Assalamu alaikum honey" he said, sweetly as he leaned on the fence outside their house.

Amyrah's eyes widened when she heard the voice.

Immediately she turned to look at Urwa who was sleeping in with her. She was soundly asleep.

"What is it?"

Kayan chuckled lowly, when he saw the light of one of the rooms on. At least he knew which room to throw stones at!

"Come on downstairs" he said.

"I won't! I was asleep you knuckle head!" she murmered and he sighed.

"Piccola, I don't think you understand. Its either you come downstairs or I yell and wake up the entire house. Have fun explaining why I was yelling your name in the middle of the night" he blackmailed her and she groaned.

"I am coming" she muttered and hung up.

Kayan smiled at the phone. She could not even trust him enough to not do that!

Sure enough, Amyrah was standing at the gates, frowning up at him. (Because he was taller). She did not bother to open the gates to let him in nor did he bother to do so. Instead, he smiled adoringly at the woman who frowned back at him.

"Quit it!" She muttered, rubbing her hands together to avoid the shivers. One that was due to the cold, she told herself. But her heart knew the truth.

"Wait for it...." He said and checked his watch. 3 seconds

Once it was over and the clock stroke 12, he grinned at her.

He bent down, gray eyes meeting Brown as he smiled genuinely. With a low whisper like that of the wind, he spoke.

"Happy birthday, my lady"
