"People fall in love in mysterious ways, its all part of the plan"

VANCOUVER,

BRITISH COLUMBIA,

CANADA.

December, 2016.

The snow dropped slowly on the glass window pane of the top floor of the 'Rain Advertising' building which stood in the west of Vancouver city, BC, Canada.

The building was of steel and had around 20 stories with the words 'RAIN ADVERTISING' hanging in the front of the building. It had gates surrounding it with gardens and a fountain with a pebbled path leading to the entrance.

People walked around the lobby or the first floor of the building, waiting for appointments and carrying files to lord knows where.

Outside the building, a black Mercedes stopped at the front door and immediately every worker in the building began their work.

The footmen whose position is at the door, walked towards the car but before he could open the door, the person in the car, opened it.

The first impression of the person was that it was a girl, wearing black heels with black leggings.

She got off the car's drivers seat and turned to the footman. Instead of yelling, she smiled at him.

"Mr. Ray, how many times have i told you to open the door of the building only and not my car?" she questioned him shutting the door of her Mercedes

The Valet came and took her keys.

The girl was tall, build and a hijabi. She wore a knee length blue and white floral dress with a black coat on top and her hijab. She had her phone in one hand and a handbag in another.

Her light brown eyes were trained on the main entrance. She knew she had the spotlight and she also knew that people in there hated her for her but honestly, she could care less about them.

"Amyrah ma'am?" called out the footman and Amyrah snapped out of her trance before giving him a smile.

"Thank you Mr. Ray." she said, walking towards the glass doors.

The automatic doors opened and silence fell over the lobby, all the chatter and clatter died down and every eye was fixed on her. Amyrah smiled at them as she walked towards the elevator. Her PA and also her good friend, Esha, smiled at her and took her coat and gave her coffee on the way.

"Good morning Esha" sighed Amyrah, sipping her coffee as they stood in the elevator.

"Morning to you too Amyrah! Now we have an appointment with the Samsung group today for their billboards and i hope you know its important!" Esha replied and Amyrah smiled widely at her.

"Of course i know! I also know that i have to be there and that my team are hardworking so we will get it" replied Amyrah, sipping her coffee.

The elevator reached the top floor and opened.

the girls walked out of it into a huge office that said CEO.

Amyrah inhaled the scent of flowers and spice of her office and smiled.

"Feels home!" she grinned and Esha laughed.

Walking to her desk, Amyrah put her bags aside and checked the mails on her desk.

nothing of importance though.

Her computer started and she hit on her mail next.

"Umm Esha!" called out Amyrah, clicking on the mail and Esha was behind her in a second.

"What is it?" Esha asked her in panic.

"Its from the Ryoul Foundation" she stated and Esha's eyes went wide.

"OPEN IT!" she almost yelled and Amyrah flinched.

"Alright, Alright!" she muttered before opening it.

"Dear Miss. Amyrah Saleh,

It is a pleasure of ours to inform you that your application to the land in Fiji for the hospital has been approved. It would be appropriate if you have a look at the land yourself and analyze all the details. We would like to meet you formally for the rest of the formalities to be completed. Please let us know at your earliest and also please be noted that Ryoul Foundation closes after December 24th, 2016 (Christmas Eve) till January 3rd, 2017.

Looking forward to working with you.

Yours faithfully,

Bruce Wellin.

(CEO Ryoul Foundation)" Esha read out loud to Amyrah and then stared at each other for a while.

"ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!!" Squealed Amyrah and Esha hugged her tight.

"I told you that prayers come true!" said Esha and Amyrah nodded.

Amyrah was a Fiji born girl who worked hard all her life to get education. Of course it was her own country that made her reach her goals. Her country meant everything to her. Maybe its because she has alot of memories, family and friends there. Fiji has everything of her own and her heart goes out to them all the time. Even though she had completed her uni study here and has been here ever since, Amyrah never lost any love for her country that she left 8 years ago. She has been there once, that was 7 years ago and never returned.

Her family consisted of her father, Mohammed Elijah Saleh, her mother, Hoonar Elijah Saleh and her only older sister, Azidah Aysha Saleh. Azidah was married to Ishran in NZ, has 2 kids (Inayah (4) and Inran (7)).

Amyrah has been to NZ countless times where her whole family now resides but never wanted to go back to Fiji. Maybe it was because she held too many painful memories of that place in her heart.

"Amyrah?" Esha snapped the girl out of her trance.

"huh? Oh yeah- this is great!!" she squealed again and Esha laughed before placing a hand on her shoulder.

"You sure you want to go to that country?" Esha asked her and Amyrah smiled sweetly at her.

"Of course" she replied and Esha nodded.

"Don't worry, i will be there too!" she winked back before the girls launched into laughter.

BRISBANE,

QUEENSLAND,

AUSTRALIA.

December, 2016.

Within the confines of the home, Kayan felt his heart rate increase.

He knew, his mother- Qaidan Zaeef would throw a fit had she found out about his plans to spend the upcoming 3 months in Canada for the launching of his new hotels.

He had consulted Yazdan, his most sensible and trusted brother who had advised him to tell mother before she found out from somewhere else.

Thus here he stood, in the patio of their house overlooking the greenery outside the glass doors.

"What is it Kayan?" asked his mother, finally making a presence in the patio.

The Zaeef were one of the most prominent families of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Owning a vast amount of land, estates and hotels, they had established their name over time.

"Oh As salaam ammi" Kayan smiled at the sight of his mother.

"Was salaam, Kay. Take a seat" she motioned for him to sit next to her.

"What is it that you required my immediate presence?" she asked him and he shot her a charming smile.

"Kay- that smile may work on the ladies and men alike but i am your mother. Its not going to work on me" she said and he put his head down in dismay causing his mother to let out a small laugh.

Mrs. Qaidah Zaeef was a lady of class and manners alike. She came from a family of business and wealth so it was no doubt, she fit right into the family of Zaeef who were struggling that time.

"Mother, I am leaving for Canada in a month" he said, after a long silence.

His mother shot him a smile.

"Have i ever stopped you from going anywhere you want?" she questioned him, taking his hand in hers.

"Of course not- but that is different and this is different" said Kay.

"How so?" asked Qaidah.

"That time i went for the longest of a week but this time...... well i must leave for 3 months or so" he replied and his mother's grip on him tightened.

He knew very well that his mother never allowed her children to separate. It was her way to keeping the entire Zaeef together.

"Kay-"

"Ammi- i promise you i will be back after 3 months and Yazdan will be with me all the while" he said and his mother sighed.

"Alright then but you will call me as soon as you get time" she said and he nodded smiling slightly.

"And don't you dare get a canadian girl for a daughter-in-law for me!" she added in mock stern voice causing Kayan to laugh.

"Of course not mother! Whatever you say is whatever i shall do" he said, saluting her.

She pulled his cheeks and made blood rush to it, making him look like a tomato.

"I guess this is the way it will be- but you do remember that we have to go to Fiji in April for the wedding, right?" she asked him and he nodded smiling slightly.

"Of course mama bear" he pulled her into a huge bear hug.

"I love you mama bear" he said and she laughed.

"I love you too Kayan" she replied.

Two different worlds, two different people.

Fate works in mysterious ways to get them together.

Afterall, it was about a charming billionaire and a beguiling beauty of a CEO.
