《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 88 We get to stay together

We get to stay together.

We get to stay together.

We get to stay together!!!!

I couldn't stop saying that to myself and just feeling the words fill up my head.

I was just so thrilled. I've told Tut about my era many times before and have told him about things that I believe he would be interested in and from the excitement that I would see coming from Tut's eyes. I can for sure say that he is curious about coming to my era as well.

I enjoyed being in Tut's era, though, and honestly, I am excited that we would be able to come back and forth. We would just have to be very discrete about it and only be able to travel to the people and locations that we trust.

My mother and grandmother having to had figured out how to travel to this era is something that I still find shocking, scary and has caused me to feel amazement. Coming from a line of strong-minded people who can study a craft of magic that I have yet to meet anyone else who can, this is something that I am incredibly proud of.

"Mala," Tut said, causing me to turn around to face him.

I smiled at him; I knew Tut was nervous when he met my mother and grandmother. Especially on the fact that he was aware that they came for me.

I was honestly prepared to tell them that I would stay with Tut, and I know it's something that my mom would have seen as a crazy idea. I wouldn't have blamed her.

I am my mother's only child, so her having her only child say in this era is something that I don't think she would be able to deal with at all.

I was glad when my mom told her the idea she came up with and the plan for how everyone could be happy.

My grandmother, of course, made sure to tell me that I get my brain from her, that I get the planning and having ideas for anything from her.

Which very well was proven from the idea she had.

"Yes, Tut, are you sure about this?" I asked him.

"Yes, don't worry. I am positive that I want to be with you. I don't think I would be able to even handle being separated from you for too long." Tut said, causing me to let out a laugh.

"Yeah, honestly, me either. There's no way I would be able to handle being separated from you that long either. I am honestly glad that you and I can stay together. Especially this way." I said to him.

Tut smiled at me and pressed a kiss on my forehead.

His lips caused my whole forehead to feel warm.

"Are you ready to call in the people that we want to tell about this?" I asked him.

My mother and grandmother have been here for four days already, and we've called Tut brothers to come over, Queen Renequa, Tut mother, Ramo's and Leo, some of the trusted people and some of the trusted guards that I came to trust and like. Of course, my grandmother and mother would be in the room as well.

"Yes, are you ready?"Tut asked me.

I nodded my head.

"Alright, I'll go let them know we are ready," Tut said, walking towards the conference chamber's door.

Tut let them know that we were ready, as they were all gathered outside waiting for us to start the meeting.

I watched each one of them come in and made eye contact with them. As I made eye contact with each person, I thought about the first time I met them.

Even Queen Renequa, when she and I first met, was not good, but she's alright now.

I'm just glad no one was hurt that much from what she did.

Surprisingly she took the time to visit each family and apologize to them and offered them compensation in any form they needed to resolve the trauma she caused them.

To, to be honest, Queen Renequa is someone who I didn't think would do that. Not saying that she hadn't changed from who she was before, but I just honestly didn't think that she would go out of her way to apologize to the people that she had caused trauma to with her plan.

It just took me off guard when I found out, but she was someone suffering from her inner pain and lashing at others. Although it is no excuse to harm others when you're feeling hurt yourself, many people tend to do that when they're suffering from within.

I also heard that Queen Renequa has been talking to Tut's mom and visiting Tut's mom as well.

I know Tut was a little concerned about that, and he kept questioning his mother and checking her to see if she was okay after each visit from Queen Renequa.

His mother, of course, insisted that she was okay and that Queen Renequa just wanted to hang out with her; she even calls Queen Renequa Rene.

It took everyone off guard when they addressed each other by nicknames that no one called them.

Tut continued to observe his mother and Queen Renequa, though, I mean, he had every right to after all, but I think everything is okay.

I honestly feel like Queen Renequa cares for Tut's mother; in what way? I had no idea, but the smiles they have as they walk around and converse with each other isn't wrong to see.

It's refreshing to see Tut mother happy, honestly, because I can't imagine all the horrible things she had to go through, lock in a place no outsider knew of and treated in such cruel ways by someone who was related to you and on top of that the father of the child you had. Who was taken from you?

We waited for everyone to finish gathering in the conference room.

Tut started to speak after he notices that everyone was in.

"I gathered each one of you here because you're the group of people who know that Amala is not from this era but another. I'm sure some of you have viewed her as a Goddess, as you all should, because she is simply one. If you all look to that side of the room, the two women there are Amala grandmother and mother, who have come to bring her to her time." Tut said.

Murmurs came from everyone in the room.

Queen Renequa spoke.

"Oh, Amala. I didn't know you wanted to go back. I could have sent you back anytime you wanted." Queen Renequa said, causing everyone in the conference room attention to switch to her.

"Seriously? Why are you waiting now to say this?" I asked her; I watched her shrug her shoulders with a nonchalant expression.

"Well, it's getting brought up now, and you've never seemed like the type of person who was eager to get out of this era after meeting King Tut. So I assumed you wanted to say." Queen Renequa said.

My mouth honestly dropped open from what she said.

This woman could have sent me back anytime?

Well, at least we know that now. It's still a good thing that my mother and grandmother can have found this out as this is a good skill and something to know, especially whenever we want to go back and forth from eras.

"I also could have sent Tut back with you if you both wanted to." Queen Renequa said.

I facepalmed myself.

"Queen Renequa, please stop talking," I said.

"Oh.... okay." She said.

"Well, what Queen Renequa said has something to do with what Amala and I wanted to tell you all here," Tut said.

"We will be going back and forth from the eras," Tut said.

"You can do that?" Prince Kronos, Tut's little brother, and Queen Renequa said.

"Amala grandmother has figured out a way to have it possible for us to do so," Tut said.

Queen Renequa spoke, "That is impressive."

"Thank you." My grandmother said.

"My mother will be able to come back and forth as well," Tut said, causing his mother's eyes to widen.

"It will be a new world for us both, mother, but I would like to have you nearby since I was not able to when I was younger," Tut said.

"I hope you're okay with that," Tut said.

"Yes, we would, of course, make sure you're comfortable and taken care of," I said.

"I also will visit you every day if you want." Queen Renequa said, causing both Tut and my eyes to widened.

Tut's mother turned with a shocked expression.

"Really, could you?" She asked.

"Yes, of course. Do you think I would stay that long away from you? No way. I will visit you every day." Queen Renequa said.

"Then okay, I would like to come as well." Tut's mother said.

Tut got happy from hearing that, and I smiled from hearing that as well.

Tut explained to everyone what else would happen.

"There's something else I want you all to be aware of," I said.

"Someone is planning to kill King Tut, but we don't know how they're planning to do it. We have no idea how," I said, and everyone eyes but Tut, me, and his mother turned to look at Queen Renequa.

"It's not going to be me, I swear." Queen Renequa said.

"We believe you, I to don't think it'll be you." King Tut said.

"Really, well. Thank you." Queen Renequa said.

"How and who would do such a thing?" One of Tut's brothers said.

"Yes, we have to try to stop it." Tut's other brother said.

"We have an idea of how we are planning to do that," I said.

Tut and I filled them in on what we planned on doing.

Everyone's eyes widened.

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Ramos said.

"Thank you," I said.

"So, does anyone have any idea how we should kill, well, pretend to kill Tut, that is?" I asked everyone in the room.

This part was my idea. Why? Because in my era, someone did kill Tut, and I figured out how they did so.

So, I need to know for sure that it isn't anyone in this room who did it or plan on doing it.

I don't believe it could be anyone in the room, but I need to make sure.
