《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 86 They came for me

It's been a lovely week; Tut and I have been spending time with ourselves and the people that we are close with, which we both have been enjoying.

Tut hasn't discussed his father's death much; it was like he just put it behind him and decided to move on that way.

I couldn't blame him. His father wasn't a good person, and although I am someone who tends to play the Devil's Advocate. I'm not going to say he didn't get what he deserves, even though some of it did get a little extreme.

Tut has been bonding a lot with his mother; you could tell that they both were trying to fill in the things that they had missed with each other because of someone evil doing. Even so, Tut didn't let them interfere with him as he continues to inform his mother about more things about him.

Everyone who knew what happened that day did not question Tut or themselves about it; they accepted what happened and seem to be doing okay with it.

I was glad; most importantly, I am happy that they're no longer trapped there. Now, those women can be with their loved ones.

I am sure some of them will have many to overcome.

They'll have nightmares, insecurities, and other things that happened to have been inflicted on them by the late evil king, but I am sure just with time and the love they have, that they will be able to get through it.

The evil king even went far to keep that man who helped him abduct the women he had abducted from his brother, not letting him know the truth about his brother. He was truly someone who was screwing everyone over for his own selfish desires.

That man who helped the late evil King, the same one who had abducted me, even though he did assist the King in his wrongdoings, I didn't see a reason to punish him, especially the way the King was. It's not like the King was fair to him as well.

I was debating if the man who had to assist the King was actually truly evil or not, but that all changed the moment I saw the two brothers being reunited with each other.

Even Queen Renequa seemed surprised; later on, we found that she had no idea that the evil king had her companion brother this whole time.

She even showed great anger. I'm sure if Queen Renequa had known about this, she would have done something for sure.

It blew my mind on the number of wrongdoings the king was able to get away with.

"What are you doing over there by yourself?" King Tut said, walking towards me.

I looked up at him and gave him a small smile.

"I was just thinking about everything that had happened the past week, that's all. Did you miss me?" I asked him as he playfully rolled his eyes and let out a scoff.

"I see that your confidence level has risen, but to answer your question. Yes, I did, and I was worried that something was bothering you." He told me as he sat next to me.

"Aw, look at you, being sweet to me; it makes me want to grab your face and give you kisses all over," I said to him, not missing the fact that he quickly turned to look at me with an eager expression on his face.

"Oh, is that so? I just want to let you know if you do decide to do so that I am not going to stop you." He said, causing me to let out a snort of laughter.

"When did you get this cute?" I asked him.

"I've always been handsome, Mala." He said, giving me a severe look, which causes me to let out another burst of laughter.

"I know, Tut. I know." I said.

He smiled at me and took my hand, bringing it to his lips. I watch him place a peck on it.

"So, is that all you were thinking about?" He asked me, and I nodded my head.

"Yes, that was pretty much it," I said.

"Okay, that's good then. I don't want you worrying about anything. Especially when I told myself that I would become someone who takes your worries away." He said.

"Really? When did you make that promise to yourself?" I asked him.

He gave me a sneaky smile and stood up.

"Not telling." He said, causing me to stand up as well.

I raised both my hands and watched his eyes widened.

"Are you sure about that? You know I can do something that does make you tell." I said to him.

His eyes widened.

"Mala. Listen. We don't have to go that far. We can have a simple discussion about this." He said as I got closer to him and immediately started tickling him.

Something that I learned while being with Tut is that he was for sure ticklish.

The room instantly was filled with his laughter as he tried to get away from me.

"You can't escape this, Tut; it is your faith," I said as I moved with him.

"Okay, okay. I surrender. Mercy, please." He said.

I let out a laugh and pulled my hands away from him.

Tut had both his arms up in a surrendering pose.

"I shall have mercy on you. I can't let my King suffer from my hands for too long." I said, giving him a smirk.

"Thank you; I will forever be grateful." He said.

A knock came from the door, and it was one of his guards.

"Your highness, it seems like we have some trespassers." The guard said.

"What? Where did they come from? Who do they say they are? How did they get here?" Tut asked, and just like that, he returned into his serious tone.

He was now King Tut.

"Your Highness, they're claiming that they know the Mistress." The guard said.

My eyes widened.

"What? Me? Who do they claim to be?" I asked.

The guard turned his attention to me and said, "Your mother and grandmother." He said.

"Where are they?" I asked, heading towards the guard.

"I'll lead you to them." He said.

I followed him and knew that Tut was behind me as well.

My Mother and Grandmother were here? Did they manage to get here? In this era? How? I asked myself as I followed the guard to where they were being held.

As I entered the area, my mother's head turned towards me, and I saw the look of relief on her face.

"Mom!" I said, running to her.

I wrapped my arms around her and took her in.

"Thank goodness; I thought we were going to get killed." My Grandmother said next to my mother.

I pulled back and went to hug my Grandmother as well.

I looked at both of them and took their faces in; it was that very moment that it hit me. I missed them.

I missed them a lot.

"How?" I asked them.

"We told you that we would figure out a way, girl. We know our roots and what our roots are capable of." My Grandmother said.

I smiled at her sass.

"Are you guys okay?" I asked them.

"Yes, we are both fine. The guards weren't mean to us, just on guard with who we are, which they have every right to be." My mother said.

"I can't believe you guys are here," I said.

"Well believe it, Amala, and we came to bring you back." My mother said.

The room fell silent.

They came to bring me back.

That's right; I don't belong in this era. I belong in my era.

"Time has changed, Mala. it's 2021 now." My mother said.

"What?" I asked, shocked.

I was abducted and brought into ancient times in the year 2017. How is already 2021?

"Yes, exactly. Time is different here Amala, you've been gone for years." My Mother said.

"So, I guess I don't need to worry about that big test that I need to take anymore, huh?" I said more to myself than to them.

"What?" My mother asked.

"Nothing, nothing. I just can't believe this." I said.

My eyes widened as realization hit me.

I turned to face Tut, and I didn't miss the sad look on his face.

The same sad look he tried to wipe away as he gave me a small smile.

"Tut, this is my Mother and Grandmother. Mom, Grandma. This is King Tut." I said to them as I took Tut's hand and brought him closer to them.

"I see the history books lied." My Grandmother said, causing Tut to raise a brow.

"Thank you for taking care of my daughter." My mother said.

"We took care of each other," Tut said to her.

My mother tilted her head to the side.

"You do know she's not from here, right?" She asked him.

"Yes," Tut said.

"You do know she'll have to return to her era?" My mother asked.

Tut didn't answer.

"I see; you don't want her to leave you?" My mother asked.

"Mala is a student, a Uni student. She has a career in mind that she is pursuing. This era can't give her that." My mother said.

"I know," Tut said softly.

I turned to look at Tut and saw the sad look on his face.

My mother turned to stare at me.

"So, Amala, what is it that you're going to do?" My mother asked.
