It stopped surprising me when everywhere I went with Mala; people were smitten with her. It didn't even phase me when my cousin was one of them, and it didn't bother me because I knew he didn't have ill intentions like my father.

So when I arrived at his place, and it was made aware that I was at my cousin's residence by his people.

I wasn't shocked when my cousin walked towards his waiting room with a mad look on his face, probably wondering what the hell I wanted, but I watch his face immediately soften when he saw Mala.

"Titum," I said to him, he moves his stare back to me.

"What is it that you want, Tut?" My cousin asked.

"Let's talk in private," I said, taking Mala's hand and making my way to where I knew my cousin's study was.

"Oh, yes. Please feel free to continue wandering my home without my permission." Titum said, and I rolled my eyes at that.

We arrived at his study, and I went in, leading Mala to a seat.

I watched my cousin walk in as well and stood facing us.

"Hello, I am Titum. Tut cousin, forgive my rude cousin who I am not even in talking terms with, for not introducing us." Titum said.

Mala's eyes widened as she looks from me to Titum.

She smiled at him.

"You two are alike. I am Amala nice to meet you." Mala said.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, I would ask what a sweet, beautiful woman like you is doing with this pyramid head looking behind man, but I suppose you see something in him that a lot of people don't see. So, I won't question it." My cousin said, smiling at Mala.

He turned his attention back to me.

"So, what is it that you want?" My cousin asked.

"We are going to end him," I said, not even mentioning who he was, but of course, I know he would figure it out.

"Is that so? Well, what took you so long? After all the horrible things this man has done." My cousin said, and it wouldn't be miss by even a stranger of the hidden emotion that was behind his sentence.

"So, let me guess. He threatened Amala." My cousin said I didn't flinch on the fact that he hit the nail on the head.

"I see that I'm right." My cousin said, tilting his head.

"Why should I help you?" My cousin asked.

"You want revenge, as well," I said.

"That's true, but I wanted revenge for a while now, and you didn't aid me. So why should I even help you?" My cousin said.

This was the question I didn't want to be faced with the most.

It was the truth, after all. My cousin did need my help, and I wasn't there to help him.

He was allowed to have the right not to help me right now.

He had the right to reject helping me because when he needed help the most. I wasn't there to help him.

"You're right; you don't have to help me," I said to him.

I know this was something that was taking Mala off guard, we came here for aid from him, and now here I was saying that he didn't have to help.

Mala had no idea why my cousin was angry with me.

"Why is it that when it comes to someone you love. I have to help. I can see and tell that you love her, but when it comes to someone, I had love. I didn't get any help from you." My cousin said I could tell from the side of my eyes that Mala's eyes have widened.

She was taken off guard.

"Oh, wow, she seems shocked." My cousin said.

"You don't know, do you, Amala?" My cousin asked Amala.

"Titum, I can tell her, I don't want your emotions to come out without being able to handle it," I said, and my cousin shook his head.

"Then how come you didn't do that before coming here?" My cousin said.

"I wanted you to hear me tell her, to know that I'm sorry I wasn't there to help and that you have every right to be mad. I don't want to hide things from Mala, and I knew that you would react this way, as it's still fresh with what you're feeling." I said, as my cousin narrowed his eyes at me.

"What happened?" Mala asked.

I want my cause attention turned to Mala.

"Well, to shorten it out. What Tut Father is doing to him and you is what he did to me. When he was interested in someone, I love." My cousin said his voice emotionless.

I sense Mala stilled next to me.

I can't tell how she was taking this very moment, especially knowing that this wasn't the first time my father has done this to someone.

I know Mala, I know she had a lot of questions that were running around in her head right now, questions that were ready to burst out.

There was no hiding the expression that took over Mala's face.

"What happened?" Mala asked.

Titum facial expression softens, he was always no matter what would have a soft spot for nice women. It was just how he was, so it didn't surprise me to see he already was forming a soft spot for Mala.

Everyone either had or was going to.

"That man, I wouldn't call him a man, but that abomination is pure evil. There is nothing good in him. He likes taking people or things from others; he likes harming them. He doesn't care if you're family or a friend. He only cares about himself and his status. With that being said, it's basically what I mentioned before. What he's doing to you and Tut, was something that has happened to me." My cousin said.

"Where? Where is the person?" Mala asked Titum.

"I don't know," Titum said, sadness crossing his face.

"I don't know where she is, but I know he took her," Titum said.

I turned to look at Mala, and my eyes widened.

I knew that look that was coming on her face.

That was her 'forming a plan look', and being around Mala made me aware of that look every time it formed.

"If you think he has somewhere, then let's try to find her together. I'm sure you've tried to find her yourself, but this time you have more people who can help you, and this time he won't be able to stop you because he'll be eliminated." Mala said.

"Oh, Mala tell me how you would be able to help? " My cousin said with an emotionless tone.

"Well, his interest is now on me. So we use that to his advantage." Mala said, taking me off guard.

What was she doing?

I wasn't the only one who was taken off guard, as my cousin was as well.

"Mala, we already formed a plan," I said, and she turned to look at me.

"Yes, I know, and the plan that was formed will remain, I just added a couple of things to it," Mala said, causing me to narrow my eyes.

"You're using yourself as a prey," Titum said.

"Mala, no. I'm not going to go through this." I said, going to step my feet down.

"Why not? It seems like you owe your cousin and for you to ask him for help, knowing that you hadn't helped him before doesn't seem right. So, this is your way of making up for it." Mala said.

I was stunned.

Was she? Disappointed in me?

I could tell from the tone of her voice that she was.

I flinched at that.

This was the first time she's ever used that tone with me, and I didn't like it.

I wanted the 'proud of me' tone that she would use.

"Mala, then you shouldn't be putting yourself in that situation just for me to make it up to my cousin," I said, and Mala shook her head.

"Tut, we already have a plan, and I just added to it. Don't you understand, my plans will always work out." Mala said.

"Well, Amala." My cousin said, finally taking a seat.

"You got me in, so. What is this plan of yours?" My cousin asked, and he and I listened to Mala explain her plan that was added correctly to the plan we already had.

Of course, it was a great plan, but of course, just like her other plans.

This made me nervous and worried.

Another thing had me nervous as well, how disappointed was she at me? I need to tell her everything; I didn't like how she was acting towards me.
