《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 61 He's nothing

All my life, I've known my father to be a monster.

I never cared for him; I've tolerated him but never bothered caring for him.

Knowing the type of person he was and knowing the things he's done disgust me.

This was the last straw, him thinking he could just take possession of Mala was the last straw.

It made something snap inside of me.

He was doing this to get rage from me; he was trying to break me.

This was him trying to prove whatever power he thinks he has over his children.

It wasn't going to happen to me.

He wasn't going to win this time.

I had the security around Mala tripled, including the guard she wanted.

I had the boy's duty switch to only being with Mala.

Mala knew that this was something serious, so she didn't object to any of it.

I had a meeting with my men and assigned each a duty. Of course, they were shocked when I revealed to them that I was going against my father.

These were men that went to war with me that was part of my joint group, that were men that I gave rank in my army, and they were men who knew that none of my father children cared for him.

I knew that these men would understand, so I told him that my father threatened Mala and me, that he threatened to take Mala from me.

Not hiding in detail what he meant about that, because we know how he was.

I wasn't someone who made excuses for people, but my father. Oh, how I hated that he is my father is a cruel, disgusting excuse for a human being after all the Queen turned evil for a reason.

She was never like that, from what I've known—especially coming back from meeting her people and hearing stories of how she was before she was abducted by my father's army and forced to be with him and bear him a child.

I don't excuse evil, but everyone has a breaking point mine was going to happen. Apparently, word got out about my father's visit, which resulted in all my brothers coming in to see me.

I walked into the conference room that was filled with my brothers, Mala, next to me, and their eyes widening when they see her expect for Kronos, who immediately smiled, just seeing Mala.

"A visit, how lovely," I said as I pulled the seat for Mala to sit on and sat next to her.

"Well, I can see you're in love with this woman. It's obvious. Anyone can see that." My brother Smenkhkare said.

"Smen, I know that," I said.

"Mala, let me introduce you. This is Smenkhkare, my brother." I said.

Mala's eyes widened.

"You, you were a man?" Mala said, making Smenkhkare's eyes widened in confusion.

Kronos snicked in the background.

Oh boy, this must have to do with something from a loving History mind that Mala has.

I continued speaking as if Mala didn't already make a scene.

"This is my other brothers Djoser, Netjerikhet, Tosorthos, and Sesorthos," I said, turning to see Mala's eyes widened as she looks in amazement at my brothers.

"Of course, you've already met Kronos," I said.

"Tut, I must say. This woman is indeed beautiful, and she seems to be amusing me right now with her staring, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mala." My brother Djoser said.

"Oh, her name is Amala. You'll call her Amala." I said, correcting him.

His eyes widened, and I saw the smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes, knowing my brother was going to tease me.

"Oh, you're the only one who gets to call her Mala, huh?" He said, and I listened to my other brothers snicker in the background. I rolled my eyes as they laughed, similar to Kronos.

"Yes, that is correct," I said.

"I still want to know why she thought I was a woman, was it because I went with a nongender title?" Smenkhkare said, laughing.

I shrugged my shoulders, I don't know what was discussed about my brothers in history, but from what Mala told me, it seemed like it wasn't considered that I had brothers. Why? No idea. Then again, I'm sure not a lot of history was attained, what was kept a record in my time was meant to be kept recorded. What didn't? Was not. I wonder if my brothers had a hand in erasing themselves in history? Why would they?

I know they didn't have anything with my supposed death; that's out of the question, but why did they erase themselves in history?

I guess it's something I'll have to ask them somehow.

"I'm sure you all came to pay me a visit because each of you heard our lovely father threatened me," I said, bringing the conversation back to what was necessary.

I watched each of my brother's face turn serious.

"That disgusting man, " Netjerikhet said.

"Let's be honest, are we even surprised. We all know what he has a habit of doing." Tosorthos said, a disgusted look on his face.

"He's not going to touch her," I said.

"Yes, of course. We know, that's why we are here. To help you, because that's not going to happen." Sesorthos said.

I stared at my brothers, and they all nodded at me.

"Do you all know what you're saying?" I asked them.

"Yes." They said all together.

A fluttering feeling came over me, my brothers meant the world to me, and I care for them.

So this right here was a moment I was going to treasure for the rest of my life.

"Thank you," I said.

"So, how are we going to do this?" Sesorthos asked.

"Poison?" Djoser said.

"Slit his throat," Smenkhkare said.

"Magic," Kronos said.

"Wow, you all are casually planning this," Mala said.

"It's something we've had many years to plan and think about," Netjerikhet said.

"He threatened me casually, so I think he's planning to do something soon. So with that being said, I have increase security protection around Mala. She will also be taught how to protect herself." I said, my brothers, nodded their heads understanding why that needed to happen.

"This could get very messy," Kronos said, he was the youngest out of all of us, but his voice was equal with ours.

"It already has," I said.

"Why don't we get allies as well?" Mala spoke.

"What do you mean?" Smenkhkare asked.

"People who dislike or hate your father, to form allies with you to help," Mala said.

My brother's eyes widened.

"Why would they want to help with something that has nothing to do with them? This is between our father and us, plus you; these people might not want to get into this." Djoser said.

"Well, I am sure the majority of them want him dead. They're not going to care what it has to do with, as long as they get what they wanted and that they all had a hand in it. Having a hand in their revenge against someone who has done something horrible to them. They'll want to join." Mala said.

My brothers became silent as they listened to her.

"A way to take someone down, who believes that they're impossible to take down, is to gather all their enemies together, forming a partnership with each one of them and taking that person down together. Not only does the person not see it coming, but it gives each enemy a chance of revenge against that very person. Your father has a lot of enemies; no one will ever know which one had a hand in his death, but not only that. No one will ever think that all these people came together to take him down. Especially in this era." Mala said, my brothers still in silence.

"Yes, I know that many of you have tensions with your father enemies or don't get along with them because of things they have done, but an enemy of your enemy can be a friend or allies," Mala said.

My brothers turned to look at me, and Kronos had a smile on his face at Mala's response.

"Wow, Tut. People will go to war for a person like that by their side. We must have to do this quickly because our father probably most likely already noticed that as well." Sesorthos said.

"Amala, I must admit you have a beautiful just as you're beautiful," Smenkhkare said.

He smiled at Mala, and I cleared my throat, watching my brother playfully roll his eyes at me.

"Mala is right, that's something we should highly consider doing," I said.

"My mother would join in a heartbeat," Kronos said.

"Especially since she owes you two," Kronos added.

"Well, then, let's make the list of the people our father has made enemies out of, especially the people he doesn't know he's made enemies out of," I said.

They all nodded their heads, and I turned my head to press a kiss on Mala's head.

"Thank you, my Queen," I said to her, and she smiled up at me.

I turned my head to face my brothers again, and they were all staring at me.

"Wow, this is the first time we've ever seen you this way. We'll have to do everything we can to keep her safe then." Djoser said.

"I know," I said because it was true.

My father was a cruel creature, and he liked destroying others, especially his children.

Whats a better way of destroying someone without physically hurting them?

Hurting the person they love, and I won't ever let that happen.

She and I cross paths for a reason; nothing is going to interfere that.
