《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 54 Glad it happened

Honestly, for a second there. I thought I was a goner.
There were three times I thought that, well this is it. I'm going to die.
The first time was when I fell through the hidden entrance, a minute ago I was talking to everyone and then the next I was falling, for some reason I started gasping for air.
As if I was underwater. That was the first time where it was settled. That this was it.
The second time was when I fell, I made a loud sound. It was half a scream and half a groan.
That loud noise, of course, drew attention, I didn't even have time to admire my surroundings. Objects that look like spears were pointed at me.
I had raised my hands, letting them know I was no threat and I even tried to tell them about the Queen, my heart dropped when they yelled at me in a language. A language I very well couldn't understand.
I almost wanted to fake passing out, thinking that would save me some time until Tut and everyone else figured out how to get here.
It didn't take to long for Tut and The Queen to come down, I felt saved.
Until I saw the Queen cry, that was the third time I thought I was going to die but come to find out they were happy tears, tears of relief.
This time we were saved because they knew the Queen, I could finally put my worries aside for now.
Which led us here, to actually in a place that looks like a conference room made with stones and other materials.
Of course, I was paying attention to what was being said, well half of my attention. Most of my attention was towards the beautiful structure that these people made, the fact that these people made an underground city and here I was in it.

Surrounded by the people who made it.
I was fangirling, all the way.
My eyes took everything in, why wouldn't they? It was hard not to, this was something that I was passionate about.
The Queen and the people she was talking to were looking at me, they were saying something and I suppose it was about me because Tut looked at me as well.
If it was any other time I wouldn't even be worried but I was curious about what they were discussing.
Tut grabbed my face and kissed me.
My eyes widened, what was he doing?
Why was he kissing me now?
"Mala? Do you understand what is being said right now?" He asked.
"Yes? Why wait? I'm speaking a different language. This is so cool." I said with giddiness found in my voice.
"Renequa she is different, where have you encountered this girl?" The man asked the Queen.
I didn't know if I should take that as an insult or a compliment but to me, being different was a compliment and that's how I was going to take it.
"For her to tell you, I'm afraid it would be a very long story indeed," Tut said.
Everyone else was with us now, I honestly don't know how they were able to get the horses in the underground city or how they were also able to get Phora as well, although I did have to come to calm down Phora and Zane. Apparently, they weren't very cooperative at first.
"I can sum it up, I know I haven't been good and I know I have been cruel, I will not deny it." The Queen said so she told them.
"Renequa, you've played with the faiths." The man said, shaking his head. A look of disappointment crossed his face.

"I wanted revenge." She said.
"Yeah, & she decided to add me to that plan, with no care," I said.
The Queen turned her attention to me.
"You seem to be enjoying it so far." She said and my mouth dropped open.
"I've been thrown into situations that I shouldn't even have been in," I said.
"That's because you keep trying to help people." The Queen said.
"Oh yeah? Well, look where it's brought us now? Me trying to help people, you've been reunited with your people." I said.
"That is true." She said.
"Very amazing people, by the way, huge fan very huge fan. This place is stunning, more than stunning. It's just there are no words to describe this. Brilliant minds you all are." I said smiling.
The man smiled and chuckled.
"You're interesting indeed. What is your name?" He asked me.
"Amala. A pleasure to meet you all, especially you guys too! You know, the ones who had the spears pointed at me." I said waving at the group of people.
The woman laughed.
"Ah, I like her soul. I really do, although your plan was cruel Renequa. I see what attracted you to abduct someone like this. I could see where you're coming from, you wanted to revenge your people and for that I respect, but the way to do it is to go after the people who actually did it, not the people who were innocent in all of this." The woman said.
"See, mother. Even they think the same thing." Kronos said.
"Mother? This is your child?" The man asked.
"Yes, Kronos please stand." The Queen said.
Kronos stood.
"This is my son. Kronos." The Queen said.
"It is an honor to meet you Kronos." The man said.
Kronos shook his head.
"No, the Honor here is mine. It is an honor to have the opportunity to meet my mother's people, I am blessed for this." He said.
The Queen's eyes widened. A smile filled her face.
She just smiled.
This was very creepy.
"You may sit son." She said and Kronos did.
"I suppose you're not planning on staying?" The man asked.
A shadow crossed the Queen's face.
"No I can not, but I will protect you all and make sure no one finds out about this place." The Queen said.
They nodded their heads.
"Would you like a tour?" The man asked, but instead of looking at the Queen, he was looking at me.
He was asking if I wanted a tour, I didn't even know I was jumping on my seat.
"Yes, yes very much. Thank you." I said.
He smiled.
"Of course." He said.
I was going to get a tour, of this place, the place that I have dreamt of seeing.
Oh goodness, this is amazing.
"Oh, can Tut come along?" I asked.
"Yes. Of course." He said, getting up.
I stood up and took Tut's hand.
The man laughed.
"Let's start the tour then." I turned to Tut to find him staring at our hands, he stood up and smiled at me.
My face heated instantly realizing out of my giddiness I just grabbed Tut's had with no worries.
Well, he didn't seem to mind and it felt right, holding his hand.

"You spend way too much time with your 'friends' never on your education, you ungrateful little brat. We should've got rid of you as soon as we found out you were on the way." The Hazards of Skinny Dipping
This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
