CH. 29 Let's go

(Amala POV)

When Tut had said I've seen nothing yet, well he wasn't kidding.

Throughout the whole entire ride from the back of this kingdom, I've seen things that I wish I hadn't seen.

It makes you realize, that no matter how much you complain about your time, you got to realize it could be worse.

Yes, things were going around in my Era, but at least my Era wasn't like this.

If was like this, then I would truly be going insane.

When we got out the chariot cabin, Tut helped me out and I didn't protest.

A man approached Tut, he bowed to him and he bowed to me, I was still getting used to the whole people bowing to me thing.

I gave the man a smile and his eyes widened, he looked taken off guard but smile at me back.

Did people not smile at others in this era? I realized it was uncommon for someone in the high status to smile at someone in the low status but I didn't care.

I obviously wasn't following anything here anyway, I refused to act like I was above another Human being. That was something that wasn't going to happen.

"Your Highness, Mistress. I know where they're being kept." The man said, my eyes widened on the fact that for some reason Tut already had someone doing work for him and figuring things out.

Tut nodded his head and look back at his men.

"Remember what I told you two earlier, go find those people and bring them here." He said to the two men in the group. They nodded their heads and walked away.

What people?

I thought we were only here to get the children of those people that were taken and Tut brother. Did Tut make another plan without me?

I was going to ask him, but the look on his face was a look of business when he was talking to the man who had spoken before.

This obviously wasn't a time to ask questions, I would trust Tut.

He's already proven himself to me anyway.

The man nodded as he continued talking to Tut and I turned to look at Ramo and Leo.

I smiled at them, walking towards them and rubbing their heads.

"Hello, there my babies. Did you guys have any problem with the ride here?" I asked them, their eyes widened.

"Oh no, no. We're fine. How are you, Mistress." Leo said and I rolled my eyes.

Ramo snicked, but quickly hushed himself.

I gave him a goofy look.

"It's okay to laugh around me," I said pulling them both into a hug.

I wrapped my arms around both of them and breathe their scent in.

I don't know I felt so close to these two but I just did.

"I told you guys to call me Amala no more Mistress, okay?" I said and they looked up at me.

"Okay." They both said and I smiled giving them both a kiss on the forehead.

"Mala," Tut said when he approached us with the Man.

"Yes?" I asked him.

"You go with Ramo with Kriston, I'll go with Leo to see my brother," Tut said causing my eyes to widen.

"No, we're sticking together," I said, he gently looked at me.

"We have two split up, I want to get through this as fast as I can Mala. Trust me when I say I don't like being in this place for too long." He told me in a serious voice and I let out a sigh.

"Okay, but how long will you take and should we meet back here?" I asked him and he nodded his head.

"I'll try to be quick of course, also you'll be going with some of my Men and I'll be going with the rest. Will all meet back here and then get ready to leave. The extra chariot's I had brought over will be used to bring the children back." He said.

I nodded my head.

"Okay, can you excuse us for a second please?" I smiled towards the Man Kriston who eyes widened again.

"Yes, of course, Mistress." He said walking towards the wall.

I took Leo and Ramo's hands,

"Tut, do you trust this man?" I asked him.

"He's been faithful to me for a very long time, he will keep you safe and take you to where the children are being held, you will be with my men also and they will keep you all safe." He said and I nodded my head.

"Don't let anything happen to Leo, okay?" I asked him, he smiled at me.

"You sound like a mother." He said causing my face to get heated.

"I promise you nothing will happen to Leo." He said and I nodded my head, looking at Leo I smiled.

"I'll see you soon," I said and he smiled.

"Yes, see you soon also. See you soon brother." Leo said to his brother.

Ramo nodded his head.

I still held onto Ramo's head as I walked towards Kriston, Tut men were already behind me, I noticed it was getting dark already.

"Lead the way," I said.

Kriston nodded his head and started leading the way.

I followed him, One of Tut soldiers came up to me.

"Don't worry Mistress, we will protect you." He said. I smiled at him.

"You can walk next to me if you want too," I said, watching as he looked taken off guard.

As I said, I was definitely never going to behave like I was above anyone.

"It will be an honor Mistress," He said walking next to me.

We followed Kriston, quietly.

"I hope the children are alright," I said to The Solider and Ramo.

"Honestly, taking away someone's child like that is unforgivable. I can't wait to bring them home to their families." I said.

"You have such a kind heart Mistress, it's definitely one of a kind." The Solider said.

I let out a small laugh.

"I think it's selfish thinking you're better than another life. We all live, try to survive, breathe and bleed the same. I am not different from the inside like the others. Even spiritual beings can have feelings like Humans." I said and The Solider next to me looked at me with a look on his face.

"Our King is a lucky man." He said and I was going to ask what he meant until Kriston turned to us.

"We're going to go through there." He said pointing towards a bunch of rocks.

"There's nothing there unless this is like Harry Potter and we go through those things," I said, the man gave me a confused look and I laughed to myself.

"Sorry, my apologies. I am confused. How will we go through those rocks?" I asked him, he nodded his head.

"There's a hidden passage." He said and I let out a sigh.

Of course, a hidden passage.

"Okay, let us go then," I said.

"Mistress, I must let you know. Some children might be injured, but none are dead. I checked a couple of hours before you came." He said and my eyes widened.

"Injured as in how?" I asked him, feeling myself get angry.

I can't wait to make this Queen suffer.
