《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 23 Is Tut Okay?

I have no idea when I actually went to sleep, I just know that Tut and I were talking about so many things last night.
Random things too, like what did I like about where I was from, how is it over there in my time? Have I ever liked anyone back where I am from? Random questions that had me curious, it was interesting that he wanted to know so much about me.
I mean why wouldn't he? I'm in his home, I came into his life as a stranger, someone who he didn't know at all what so ever. Someone who he didn't have to believe or trust but he ended up believing me, ended up trusting me.
I understand the need of knowing more about me since we're going to be together for how long? since we both don't know the answer to that, of course, we're going to be curious and interested in knowing more about each other.
But right now I was laying in bed, with Tuts arms around me.
I could feel my back, pressed against his chest.
That very feeling had me speechless.
Why was his arms around me like that?
Was it just something that happened in his sleep?
I tried to gently move his arms away but his hold tightened.
"What in the world?" I said confused, to why his hold tightened around me.
What did he think I am? a Teddy bear?
I tried to move his arm again gently but the same thing happened again.
"Where do you think you're going?" Tut voiced came out in a deep tone, that brought shivers down my body.
Why was his voice like that?
Why was my body reacting like this? All he did was speak, in his morning voice that's all.
Get it together Amala.
"Why are you cuddling me like this?" I asked, why was he asking me questions?
It should be the other way around.
"You keep me safe." He said which had me widen my eyes.
I keep him safe?
"So you treating me like a teddy bear keeps you safe?" I asked him and he laughed.
a laugh that ringed through my ears and made my ears get heated out of nowhere.
"I don't know what a Teddy bear is Mala, but yes I suppose like a Teddy bear. How did you sleep?" He asked me.
"I slept okay, at first when I started to wake up. I thought all of this would be a dream, but when I saw my surroundings which proved to me that this was no dream and won't end up being a dream at all. How did you sleep?" I asked him.
I turned to face him, thinking that his arms would drop from around me but they didn't.

It was obvious that Tut was not planning on letting me go.
I stared at him, admiring his eyes, their colors were pretty. I never heard about Tuts eyes being these colors. I did hear about Ramses eyes being two different colors though but never Tuts.
It was obvious that no one actually knows all the History of this Era, an Only small percentage of it.
Tut stared at me for a while before answering my question, I had no idea what he was thinking about but the look he was giving me while staring at me, made me curious to know what was going on in Tuts mind that very moment.
"I slept fine, I supposed. That doesn't mean that I wasn't on alert while I was sleeping, yes we figured out why that group of people was trying to kill me but we still don't know if there are more people out there who want to kill me for different reasons. Although I do forgive the people we spoke to the other day, I am also glad they're with us and allies. I am worried about how many others are out there, who are brainwashed or played with by the Queen and her games." Tut said in a serious voice and I nodded my head.
"That's understandable and I can understand why you would feel like that. I think going through with our plan will work and I also think that we should get Leo and Ramo to come with us. I'm quite fond of them and it would be nice to have kids around your younger brother age with us to make him feel completely comfortable. Although the plan is about kidnapping him I don't want him to feel like he's being kidnapped you know." I said to Tut and he smiled.
"My younger brother is a very smart young man. I wouldn't be shocked if he is catching up on the matters his mother is doing. All of us know that our younger brother wants nothing to do with his mother's evil plans. We're even more shock on how a boy like that could be a woman like that son." Tut said and I raised a brow.
"Why did she become like that? Surely there has to be a reason for how she is and why she is such a way?" I asked Tut and he looked taken aback.
"You've never thought about why she is the way she is?" I asked him and he let out a sigh.
"No, I never did and quite frankly I never bothered knowing why she brought to my father," Tut said that caused me to raise a brow.
"Brought to your father, as in she was taken from her home and brought to your father the king?" I asked and he gave me a look.

"The Queen now wasn't always the Queen, she was one of my father's concubines. One of his mistresses, my father has tons of mistresses. 11 of them to be exact. My mother, of course, was never a mistress, but his sister." Tut said and I stayed silent.
I knew that Tut's parents were Brothers and sisters.
"You know, where I come from. They said you had a lot of problems due to your parents being brother and sister which would make sense because having children with someone who basically shares the same blood and has the same parents as you can cause defects to the offspring, but seeing you now. Well, it caused a lot of questions to be brought up in my mind." I said and Tut nodded his head.
"My parents were doing each other way before they even got married." He said and I hold back my look of disgust,
"I can imagine, it's pretty common," I said and he nodded his head.
"When I was a kid, there were rumors that another person was my mother." King Tut said and I nodded my head.
"Yes, till this day. Well, my day. No one actually knows who your mother really is and that's because of what your father did." I said and Tut raised a brow.
"Well, I don't know if I should tell you, heck I'm going to anyway. I don't know if your dad started acting like this already but he became obsessed with religion and basically started worshipping some God and he believed that God was the right God and did whatever that God wanted him to do. King Akhenaten who is your father, started bringing radical changes to politics and religion during his reign; therefore, causing much turmoil amongst the population. It seems that most of the royal records that held the key to your family lineage were destroyed soon after King Akhenaten's death. King Akhenaten upset the balance of the culture and region so much so, that many pharaohs after him went to great lengths to erase him from history. It looks as if you also partook in this practice, you also tried to erase your Father from history." I said and King Tut looked at me and didn't deny anything.
My words were clear, anyone who heard what I just said would know that I just stated that King Tut hated his dad and the fact that King Tut didn't even deny it proved the point that he did.
"You know it all started with her," Tut said and my eyes widen.
"With who?" I asked.
"Nerfetti, she got him into all of it. The worshipping the Sun God it's like he was Brainwashed you know as if he was part of a-"
"Cult," I said finishing King Tut sentence.
"Nerfetti isn't even her real name, she changed it." He said causing my eyes to widen.
"Really?" I asked and he nodded his head.
"Yes, because she wanted it to represent who she worshipped." He said.
"So she isn't your mother?" I asked and he shook his head.
"No." He said and I nodded my head.
"You know some people say she could have been related to your Father," I said and he nodded his head slowly.
"She's not my Mother, she's my older brother mother and I have six sisters from her. My mother was also the Kings sister, my grandparents never spoke of her or gave her a care, she was the princess that no one ever knew about. I won't be surprised if you tell me that no one even knows her name in your time." He said in a voice that sounded hurt.
"No. No one knows her name, but they call her Kiya." I said and Tut nodded his head.
"Well, Kiya is my mother. Not Nerfetti, she was a stepmother. My father had many wives. Nerfetti is still his wife but unlike the other Queen. She doesn't want me dead. I guess in her strange way, she likes me. She was married to my father at the age of 15 but my father was still involved with my mother." King Tut said and my eyes widen.
"Your father is still alive right?" I asked confused, he's supposed to be dead.
"Yes, why?" he asked and I shook my head pulling myself away from his arms.
I noticed a sad look that crosses Tuts face.
"He's supposed to be dead," I said and Tut eyes widen.
"In history, he was marked dead a long time ago," I said and Tut sat up.
"Well, you did say the pharaohs after him, tried to erase him from history, maybe we lied a little." He said and I shook my head.
I shook my head because things just got worse.
"So why are you called King Tut now?" I asked and he spoke.
"I'm not the only one called King, all my brothers are Kings, the only who's a prince is Kronos and the sisters I have, are known as princesses. My father just wanted all of us as Kings but only one true king which is him." He said and I facepalmed myself.
If everything he is saying is true which I know it is. Then everything just got worse.
It was like I was in games of throne because honestly, it was going to turn into that.
"Fuck, winter is coming."
