《Sent To The Past (Interracial Romance)》CH. 21 She thinks she's smart

(Amala POV)
I stood there, silent. Waiting for Kaiden to come back in with the other man.
I knew it was going to be hard to get to this one, the certain vibe I got from him was that he wanted revenge.
Was that he wanted Tut to feel the pain he felt. The only problem is, Tut has nothing to do with the pain that the man is feeling.
I'm all for the man getting payback, it's just he's getting revenge on the wrong person and we can't have that happening.
Kaiden came in, holding on to the man's arm who looked furious, look like he was ready to explode but stayed silent.
His eyes widen when he noticed Atticus sitting behind the table behind me, His eyes moved around the room and noticed Kyrina who was on the floor, confusion pass on his face when he noticed Zalic. He seems to be taken back and I noticed that expression was genuine on his face.
I shook my head because this woman was playing a game with people emotions and health.
She was doing all of these selfish things but if the shoe were on the other foot.
My eyes widen at the thoughts that crossed my mind.
If the shoe were on the other foot, I smiled because I instantly had a plan on how to get these people, kids, back.
She had no idea that we knew that she was behind these kids missing, she had no idea about my mindset or skills. I was going to use everything that I have as an advantage against her.
This woman is a woman of the past and basically, I am the woman of the future when it comes to comparison.
She thought she was smart? This bitch had another thing coming.
The man made eye contact with me.
I stared at him, trying to read his face and analyze him.
The way he was staring at me as if he was lost but refused to let go of his anger.
He turned and looked at Tut, the anger returning on his face. Tut seemed unphased by the expression on the man face. I thought the man was honestly truly bold. For one, Tut was a King and he was this man King. The stories I've read about people back in the days who had ranks would make anyone shiver on how they would abuse their power.
People were horrible back then and people are still horrible now, hell we still have people who have certain ranks in the world abusing their power so in truth not much has changed, Which is very disappointing if anyone really thinks about it.
I turned to look at Tut and saw Tut shaking his head.
"Do you know why you're here?" Tut asked the man and the man stood up straight.
"I'm assuming you found out that you were trying to be killed left and right, it's very unfortunate how a King doesn't even know when people are against him but yet you're a King of these people who want you dead." The man said and my eyes widen at the words that came out of his mouth.
That man is bold, that man is more bold than I was when I first got here.
Truthfully, I liked how he didn't back down and didn't even unphased his self just because Tut was a King. If things go well, I can see myself getting along with this man but I would have to put him in check soon. Only I was allowed to Insult Tut like that and Tut doesn't even know that himself.

Tut threw his head back laughing, His laugh took over the room but it was obvious there was no humor in it.
It was a humorless laugh and to be quite honest, it even brought shivers down my back.
I couldn't imagine how anyone else felt.
"Vandal. We were wrong." Atticus said from behind us.
The man who's named has just been told stared at Atticus.
With a confused angry expression.
"I have no idea what they have told you but we're not wrong." Vandal said. Kryina stood up and spoke.
"We were, my son is here and alive, we were just informed about who actually is behind this Vandal, behind the missing children. We almost killed an innocent man. I wanted nothing to do with this before, I got fooled by the hatred I felt assuming that my child was dead." Kryina said and Vandal looked at Kryina, then turned his stare to look at Zalic.
"Your son is alive, so they didn't hurt yours but they hurt the rest of ours." Vandal said and I walked towards him. The room fell silent as everyone stood and stared at me, wondering what I was going to do.
Tut called out to me. "Mala. Do not go near an angry man." He said but I rolled my eyes and walked towards Vandal. I noticed that Kaiden was still holding on to him, for some reason the hold Kaiden had on Vandal let me know that there was no way that Kaiden was going to let Vandal touch me.
I stared at Vandal analyzing his face.
"You're angry. I mean why wouldn't you be. Your son was taken from you and you went to seek revenge. To be honest, I agree with what you did." I said shrugging and Vandal eyes widen in confusion, also with shock.
"You also found out that other people kids have gone missing, having to get a group of them together. You're very smart about doing that, you noticed the patterns of the missing children and how out of nowhere they went missing, you got everyone together and tried to get justice. That was smart of you and I respect that." I said and Vandal nodded his head.
His face turning into a soft expression.
"Tut right there doesn't understand how you feel because he isn't a father. I don't understand the pain you're going through because I am not a mother. The parents in the group with you understood your pain as you understood theirs. I may not be a mother but I am a daughter. I could be truthfully honest and say any person would be proud to have you as a Father because the strength you had going through all of this not knowing if your son is alive or dead, not knowing if you would actually get justice and knowing that you could die because of it but you actually went through it anyway because you wanted the person who caused you that pain, who caused the others that pain to suffer." I said and tears fell from Vandal face.
"I've failed. I've failed the others." He said I don't know why but something broke inside of me. I was angry but not angry at these people but angry at the person who made them feel and behave this way.

I brought my hands up, towards his face and grabbing his face to wipe his tears. The man looked taken aback by my gentle touch.
I wipe his tears away and removed my hands from his face.
"No you didn't fail, a matter of fact. You've started something, I'm sorry to be the one who tells you this but you attacked the wrong person. King Tut has nothing to do with the kids that have gone missing. You came up with an amazing group and surely the person who fooled you didn't expect that but you attacked the wrong person which is what they wanted." I said and Vandal looked at me.
"I don't understand." He said and I spoke.
"How did you get Kyrina son's clothes?" I asked and Vandal spoke.
"The man brought them to me telling me he found them, a group of men had beaten up the boy, took the boy, hurting him badly and getting blood all over the boy's clothes. I've seen that man plenty of times and he's always supportive to the group. He never bothered joining or asking about our plans, I didn't feel the need to tell him either because he didn't have a kid that gone missing." Vandal said and I nodded my head.
"Don't you find it strange that that man appears everytime a kid goes missing," I said and Vandal stood silently his eyes widening.
"He appears out of nowhere and seems supportive of you guys but apparently he was just collecting information. You see, I think that man couldn't take Valic because Valic most likely had something that made that impossible. Valic what were you wearing when that man stole your clothes and bracelet or where was it that you were doing?" I asked Valic turning around to look at him.
Valic spoke. "I had the clothes The King gave me, it was clothes that were meant for people who gave up their rights and family, people that were leaving and going to live with others that are not their people. I don't know if you understand what that means Mistress, but I had to be undercover so basically, the King wanted it to seem like that." Valic said which had me nodding my head. I would have to question Tut about that later but for some reason, everyone else in the room understood what Valic meant.
"So basically the man felt no need to take Valic, he probably didn't need Valic anyways. He most likely was going to kill Valic but decided there was no need to kill Valic. No offense Valic but you were lucky, because he wasn't going to take you like the other kids. He would have killed you instead because unlike the other kids you weren't needed. You were just the final touch to get the people to snap." I said causing Valic eyes to widen. I turned to look at Tut.
"You're also Lucky because if you didn't get Valic to work for you, having him wear those clothes. That man would have actually Killed Valic and you would actually have no proof of your innocence. Most likely they wouldn't know the truth about you having nothing to do with this." I said and King Tut ran his fingers through his hair letting out a sigh.
"You see, these are things that she didn't expect to happen, these are things her little assistant didn't expect to happen. Yes, you all were fooled, but now you all have come to a realization who the real perpetrator is." I turned to look at Vandal who likes he was deep in thoughts.
"I need you to get all the people in the group, each member of the group needs to leave their home and come here, they need to be brought here before the Queen figures it out. You see Vandal. You Attacked King Tut but what you should have done was use your attacks on the Kings mother by law. The Queen herself." I said and Vandal eyes widen.
"You realized that this would have to take extreme high power to happen, you realized that someone being able to take children from people would have to know who's children to take. The Queen has all of that information in hands reach." I said shrugging and Vandal face expression showed realization.
His mouth dropped open, he looked stunned and broken.
"Don't feel ashamed on what you did, just feel bad that you attacked the wrong person. You're a parent who loves their child and there's nothing you wouldn't do for them," I said and Vandal had tears falling from his eyes. I went back towards him to wipe his tears away. He suddenly dropped to the floor.
"My King, I am so sorry. I am so sorry." Vandal said and I turned to look at Tut, who I had no idea was standing next to me.
"It's okay, stand." King Tut said and Vandal stood up slowly.
"Honestly I don't know what my old myself would have done, but for some reason, my character has changed since I've met this woman here. So everyone in this group will be forgiven by me." Tut said which had a look of shock from the people in the room, including Vandal himself.
Basically, Tut is saying the reason he's not killing anyone is basically because of me.
Aww how sweet, in a twisted sense of way but still sweet.
"So, we're going to get your kids back because they're still alive but of course it won't be easy so we're going to make the Queen feel what you guys felt," I said which had everyone in the room attention including Tut, Tut stared at me with confusion on his face until he realized where my Thoughts were heading.
"We're going to make her feel what each member in the group felt when their kids were taken, we're going to take something from her. The main important thing that had her start this whole fuck up mess." I said sighing.
"She's also a parent and she thought she was untouchable because she is a Queen, she was selfish bringing pain on other parents so let's do the same," I said making eye contact with everyone in the room.
"We're going to Kidnap her son, let's see how she likes it," I said.
