Scott didn't show back up until one thirty, which, of course, he just had to tell me all about what he found.

I blinked my eyes open slowly, a yawn passing through my lips as I sat up in the bed. I swear, that body pillow does wonders. "Scott?" I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes, only to see him standing at the foot of the bed.

"Babe," he breathed the nickname with a small smile on his lips. "I'm glad you're awake, I've got to catch you up on a few things." He then began telling me about how when my dad took him to the preserve, they thought they were looking for a dead body but, now he thinks Malia is a coyote. "So the girl isn't dead? That's great." I yawned again. "Can we go to bed now?"

Scott smiled and nodded with a sheepish look on his face. "Yeah, sorry, I know you haven't been sleeping well." I shook my head, a small smile pulling at my lips, "this pillow is amazing, I'm never sleeping without it."

A grin creeped onto Scott's face as he pulled his shirt over his head, flicking the light off and closing the door after doing so. "Does that mean you'll be staying here more?" I looked down his torso with a small smile on my lips, I was no longer tired.

"I dunno, I might need more convincing." I bit my lip while watching him change from his jeans into his pajama bottoms. Scott sent me a smile, "well, in that case, I'm sure I can convince you."

Let's just say, I slept really good last night. Now, Scott and I are laying in his bed, the sun is just peeking in through the windows. Scott was laying with his head on my chest and his hand was holding my exposed belly while I ran my fingers through his soft, chocolate hair.

"I want her middle name to be Jane." I broke the peaceful silence of the morning. "Since it's both our mothers middle name." I could feel Scott smile at that, "I like Jane." The silence blanketed over us again, but it wasn't uncomfortable, it was peaceful and beautiful.

Stiles would be here soon, to pick Scott and I up for school. Unfortunately, that was still a thing I had to go to.

"What if I end up like my dad?" Scott asked, worry evident in his voice while he sat up and turned toward me. My features softened as I looked over his furrowed brows and slight frown. "I don't think you will, Scott."

Scott sighed, "but, what if it's like genetic? Like, I'm bred to just eventually leave." I frowned, "well, do you want to leave?" Scott, almost immediately shook his head, "no." I nodded, a small smile on my face while I put my hand on his arm. "Then you're already better than him."

I leaned forward and gave him a peck on the lips, "come on, I need to shower before my brother gets here." I said, getting out of the bed. Scott frowned, "why do you need me?" I turned back toward him, halfway to the connected bathroom, an amused look on my face. "I was hoping you'd join me. But, if you don't want to..."

"Oh, I want to." He jumped out of the bed, pulling his following behind me immediately.

I ended up wearing dark wash jeans and a oversized mauve knitted sweater that hung off the shoulder and hid my belly for the most part. I paired it with my usual jewelry and my sneakers. Stiles was going off about the coyote den the whole way to school, telling me everything I already knew about it.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for us to get to history class. I left to go to the bathroom before class, Scott offered to wait for me, but I told him to just go ahead. Walking in class, I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

Kira was standing beside Scott, digging through her bag while blushing and talking to him. "It's fine, it only took a couple of hours." Scott's eyes went wide, "oh, then you really didn't have to do that." Kira sighed, digging further into her bag, "I swear I printed it out."

I shook off my jealousy and went to sit beside Scott, a smile on my face. "Printed what out?" I asked them. Scott sent me a smile before replying, "Kira did some research on Bardo for us." I didn't miss the slight frown that appeared on her face at the mention of 'us' rather than 'me.'

How did she not notice that I was pregnant? I'm sure if she figure out that, A) I'm pregnant and B) Scott's my boyfriend, then she'd come to the conclusion that he's the father. Right? The teacher walked in, a stack of papers in hand, "Kira? You forgot all the research you did for that boy you like."

Her eyes went wide and a blush stained her cheeks as she took the packet from her father and quickly handed it off to Scott. I frowned before looking to the front, not missing the look Scott gave me and the look Stiles gave Kira.

"All right, everyone, let's get started! We were just talking about internment camps and prisoners of war. There's a passage in our reading that I'd like to go over in more detail. Who would like to come up and read aloud for us? Mr. Stilinski?" My heart dropped and I bit my lip, please someone else, please...

Stiles cleared his throat, "Oh, maybe someone else could...?" His voice was pitchy and nervous, but Mr. Yukimura gave him a look, "Everyone participates in my class, Mr. Stilinski." Stiles licked his lips nervously before standing up and going to the podium.

He was looking at the words while shaking his head, not saying anything loud enough for me to hear. I bit my lip, worried for my brother. "Maybe I should take him to the nurse." Scott suggested, standing up and taking Stiles out of the room.

I quickly raised my hand, "yes Ms. Stilinski." I sighed, "can I please go to the bathroom? It's an emergency." He sighed but, nodded and I quickly left in pursuit of the boys.

It wasn't hard to find them, they were in the boys locker room. " It's a dream, it's a dream, it's just a dream..." Stiles was repeating when I walked in. He was shaking his head. "No, it's not-- this is real. You're here. You're here with me." Scott's eyes found mine, "and your sister."

Stiles looked to me but he was visibly distressed, tears were in his eyes and he was panicking. I grabbed one of his hands in my own. "Stiles, what do you do? How do you tell if it's a dream or not?"

He stuttered, "Your fingers-- you count your fingers. You have extra fingers in dreams." Stiles explained, trying to calm down. Scott nodded, "How many do I have? Hey! Look at me. Come on, Stiles. Look at my hands and count with me."

Stiles nodded while looking at Scott's hands, "One....two..." I nod my head, squeezing his hand in mine. "Keep going, Stiles." He nods, turning back to Scott's fingers. "three... four..." Scott counts with him now, "five."

"Six....seven." Stiles' breathing is becoming more even now. Scott nods, "eight." Stiles counts now, "nine... ten." Scott sighs, "ten. Ten." Stiles lets out a breath and I'm quick to bring him into my arms, holding him tightly.

"What the hell is happening to me?" He weakly cried into my shoulder. I ran my fingers through his hair in a comforting nature, my eyes were locked with Scott's, his eyes mirroring the worry I felt.

Scott ran a hand through his hair, messing it up, "We'll figure it out. You're going to be okay." Scott reassured. Stiles pulled away from me, frowning at Scott. "Am I ? Are you? Scott, you can't transform... Allison's being haunted by her dead aunt... And I'm straight up losing my mind. We can't do this. We can't-we can't help Malia. We can't help anyone."

I shook my head, my eyes on my brother. "You can try, Stiles." Scott nodded, "we can always try."

Well, apparently, Malia-- or well, the coyote version of her, is on school campus. I guess she tried to attack Kira when she was bringing Scott, Stiles, and I our bags. I was currently walking with Stiles and my dad, trying to figure out what was going on.

"A couple of students said they saw it running across the field and back into the woods. Thank God nobody got hurt." My dad stopped walking, looking back at me and my heavy breathing. "Are you okay, Victoria?" I nodded, "just, walking makes me a little tired."

He nodded reluctantly, before turning to Stiles. "What happens if she does hurt someone?" My dad sighed, "Most likely, they'll have to put it down." I frowned, shaking my head. "But, she's not an it, dad. There's a girl in there! They can't just kill her."

My dad frowned and Stiles sighed, "Come on, you aren't back to not believing, are you?" My dad sighed, "I believe there are a lot of things I don't understand yet. But that doesn't mean that everything and anything imaginable is suddenly possible!"

I narrowed my eyes at my dad before walking away, not being able to deal with the thought of them killing an innocent girl. I mean, sure, she killed her sister and mother, but she was young and probably didn't even know what she was doing... poor thing.

If my dad isn't going to try and stop them from putting her down, I'll just have to do something about it. Research, since that's all I really can do anymore.

"Okay, so, she was a girl before werecoyote, right?" Scott and Stiles hummed at me to continue. "If she turned into a coyote, she can be turned back." The line went quiet for a few moments, the only sound being my breathing.

I heard Isaac sigh through the line, "Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into a girl, when she hasn't been a girl for eight years?" "I can do it." Scott responded. "You can?" Stiles questioned, causing me to roll my eyes.

"You remember the night that Peter trapped us in the school? In the gym, he was able to make me turn using just his voice. Deucalion did the same thing in the distillery." I nodded along with Scott but frowned, "she isn't like other werewolves though..." I heard Deaton sigh, "she's a werecoyote. Who knows if it'll even work if you can find someone who can teach you."

Scott groaned, "I could try it on my own.But right now, I'm too scared to even change into just a werewolf." I bit my lip before leaning back on my bed, the phone pressed to my ear. Stiles sighed, "We need a real Alpha. You know what I mean. An Alpha who can do Alpha things. You know, an Alpha who can get it going. You know, get it--"

"Up?" I piped in, smirking slightly. Scott groaned, "Great. I'm an Alpha with performance issues." I snorted, he didn't seem to have performance issues last night... Deaton spoke next, "Is there anyone else besides Derek who could help?" Isaac all but growled out, "I wouldn't trust Peter."

"What about the twins?" I hesitantly suggested, worried for their reaction. "Ethan and Aiden. They were alphas, so they must know how to do it." "Nobody's seen them for weeks." Scott responded, causing me to deflate slightly. "Actually that's not entirely true..." Stiles trailed off.

In sync my brother and I spoke, "Lydia."
