Chapter Six
||MASKY||
†
An amused grin plastered itself across my face and my pants were suddenly unbearably tight.
This girl just made my night a whole lot more interesting.
I hadn't seen her much but I could tell the body was the blonde from before. Had she killed her because of that little catfight earlier?
I couldn't help the laugh that left my lips.
"Good job doing the work for us," I had my hands stuffed into the front pockets of my pants, eyes narrowed as I watched her from behind my mask.
"Wha- pfft!" She blew out a breath, her bright eyes darting all over the place as she crossed her arms under her chest. The action drew my attention to the plump shape of her bra-clad breasts under her shirt, "work? Ha! What do you mean by that?"
With all her awkward fidgeting, I only pointed to the door behind her, "the girl you killed."
"Killed?" She feigned an offended look, hand over heart, "I didn't kill- we're just playing!" as she spoke she placed a hand on the wall shakily and the other on her hip.
Almost losing her balance she finally rested her entire left side against the wall, bracing with her elbow and once again the closet door creaked open and the body of the dead blonde fell to the floor rather comically.
She let out a low, "dangit," and eased herself off the wall before realisation hit.
"Wait who the frick are you?!"
I tilted my head to the side, brow raised, although I knew she couldn't see my face behind the mask, "all your friends are dead."
Her mouth fell open, "wait, what? You killed them? Oh my gosh- you're the one from earlier! The one who killed all those people at the diner. Mason was right!"
I wasn't sure what she was on about but the look on her face was making me uncomfortable for some reason. She looked more amazed than frightened and I realize that for the first time in a while my mind was starting to quieten.

"You- you're a killer!" she pressed her back against the wall dramatically holding both hands out before her with one index over the other in a makeshift cross, "don't come any closer! Atrás!"
Shoving my hands deeper into my pockets, I motioned to the lifeless body on the floor with a jut of my chin.
She looked over then back at me and screwed up her face, going back to her relaxed position with her hands drooped by her sides, "freaking hell!"
"You just killed your friend and you still can't say a fucking curse word properly?" I voiced in amusement.
"What, my foster mother raised me right, and Cassandra wasn't my friend, Mason was. He was kinda my friend- I think." She rambled.
It then occurred to me that I came up here on a mission and for the first time in my life I'd lost sight of it. Instead, here I was having a conversation with someone I was supposed to be gutting.
She intrigued me, and not just because she had killed her 'friend', which was a huge part of the reason, but also because her personality was unlike anyone I'd ever met before.
Wasn't she aware she was in danger?
She must be, but she didn't seem the slightest bit worried and for that she was either extremely stupid or especially brave.
I wanted her, and this time it wasn't the bloodlust speaking, in fact it was slowly ebbing away and in it place was regular old lust. The voices had gone silent.
"I don't think you realise the danger you're in," I spoke and she blinked.
"Are you gonna kill me?"
I took a few steps forward but she didn't move an inch and pretty soon I was so close to her I could see the freckles on her plump lips.
I wrapped my fingers around her slender neck and she looked up at me with the biggest brown eyes I've ever seen, her plump lips slightly parted as her brows furrowed in confusion. I had the strangest urge to kiss her and my grip tightened making her let out a light gasp, her lips parting futher, her breath coming out in light puffs.

I couldn't tell if she was scared or turned on and it didn't really matter to me.
"Who are you?" I groaned, pressing her body up against the wall and my own against hers, knowing damn well she could feel my dick pressed against her– but I couldn't control the desire I felt.
"Kit," she caught her breath as I loosened my grip on her neck, fingers trailing over the heated skin there.
"I could end your life right now," I ground out between clenched teeth, "I was saving you for last, but I sure as hell didn't expect this."
My hand left her neck slowly, my face so close to hers that our noses were almost brushing, "I would still love to hear you beg, but not for your life."
"Wow," she breathed, "you are one pervy serial killer."
The laugh I gave surprised even myself and I backed away, letting her go abruptly, confused.
What am I doing?
A dull ache started at the back of my head and I tried to shake it away but it only spread and erupted into a white hot pain that had me doubling over in agony, slapping my hands over my ears to try and drown out the ringing in my head.
The voices were back, chanting louder than ever before and I grunted as I felt her rush to my side, her small arms wrapping around my shoulders.
"Are you okay?" Her voice was filled with worry and I lifted my head to look at her face, the piercing sound dying down until all I could hear was her breathing.
A few seconds ticked off as she stared back at me before I felt her fingers curl under my mask, slowly lifting it.
Before I could think I panicked and lashed out with both arms, shoving her backward so forcefully, her back hit the wall and she slumped over on the floor, still.
Fuck! Fuck fuck fuck!
After going over to check her pulse, I let out a sigh of relief.
She wasn't dead, but she was unconscious. I stood over her, watching as her chest rose and fell with each breath. Something glinted under the moonlight and I snatched it from her neck, turning it over in my hand. A small silver necklace with a pendant, but not just any pendant. It was Slenderman's proxy symbol.
What did this mean? Had she known all along? I got to my feet looking down at her beautiful face. I should kill her right now, it would be so easy, but I couldn't.
It wouldn't be any fun if she was unconscious and there was also the fact that I simply didn't want to.
Hoodie stepped in at the doorway, blood dripping from his hands and I watched as his gaze went from the two girls on the floor to me.
"Seven," was all he said and my brows furrowed.
"There were eight," I made my way over to him, "did you miscount?"
"Seven," he said again before turning away and heading back toward the stairs, his heavy boots thumping down the hallway.
I turned back to her.
Kit.
That's what she'd said her name was.
Looking from her to the blonde, I grinned. I knew I'd be seeing her again, real soon.
