《STAR || KristSingto》12

After the confession day, and going through tons of Q&A from Singto's and his parents, they finally agreed te let the two go out. Of course, both families are supportive but they were just worried if the two could handle the stress but both of them ensures that they're fine. Especially when they know that Singto would leave the country soon. Krist told them that they're gonna be okay eventhough he himself is not that sure about it. Janhae was the happiest person for both of them and she hugs them so tight when they brought the news to her. She wishes that they would aleays be happy and told them to take care of themselves.
After dropping Janhae off at the airport, they decided to go out on a first date. Since they never really spend time together even as a friend, Krist was afraid it would be very awkward between them. He prepared himself for anything that could possibly happen. They agreed to go to a cat cafe in Bangkok since both of them love animals. Krist was the one to propose the idea since he thought it was a good idea to have some company to avoid awkwardness between the two of them.
As soon as they arrived, Krist could see Singto's eyes beaming in delight as he saw the cute and pretty cats running around the place. Krist realised at that very moment that he just chose the wrong place for a first date.
The whole time, Singto was too busy with the cats to even spare a glance at him. Without him knowing, he pouts while playing with a kitten called Beauty as he mumbles words to the kitten. It was as if he was whining to the kitten like the kitten would understand him. Singto on the other hand saw that and he smiled. He knows Krist was sulking with him but what can he do? The cats are too adorable. Few minutes later, he got up, dust off the cats' fur on his pants before walking to his boyfriend. He smiled at the title. Yeah boyfriend. He likes the sound of that.
"Krist." he called the pouting guy and the latter looked up from the kitten in his hands to Singto. "...let's go." Singto said, earning a frown from Krist.
"Where?"
"I'm hungry."

"I thought you wanted to stay here longer?" Krist asked again, still frowning.
"I do, but I don't like seeing my boyfriend whining to a kitten and pouting like that. Someone else would steal him from me because of his cuteness." he said shamelessly. Krist's ears turned beet red at the words and he wasn't sure what he was supposed to say. He just quietly put Beauty down before getting up on his feet, avoiding meeting eyes with Singto. He quickly walked out of the room, leaving Singto who was laughing at his actions.
When Singto came out, Krist was waiting for him at the front—ears still red but it was not as red as before. Singto chuckled before walking to him.
"Why did you leave me?" that question earned a glare from Krist that made Singto laugh.
"Let's just go. You said you're hungry." Krist said quickly taking a step towards the car.
"Krist.." He stopped and turned when he heard his name being called. He likes it. The way his name rolled off the other's tongue. He thought his heart was fine since it didn't make any weird beats again but boy he was wrong. As soon as Singto approached him, his heart starts beating weird again when the other suddenly slides his hands and intertwined their fingers together like it was the most natural thing to do—like it was okay to make Krist go crazy.
"Just to make sure you won't run away from me again."
Thats it! Krist's heart just burst and Krist's could've sworn he just heard his heart played a loud love song.
The entire day went off great and both of them had a great time with each other's company. After lunch, they went to a mall to find some things. They had a great time—aside from constantly having people asking to take a picture with the basketball star. Singto was worried that Krist would feel uncomfortable but Krist had to tell him that he was okay. He thought it was fun seeing people drooling over his boyfriend. Unlike other people, he was very proud of that. A person that people look up to, a person who was loved by many, is his. Singto is HIS boyfriend and only his. So they could only take picture and look at him but they could never have him. He might get jealous, that could be some other day but not today.

Just like any other day, Krist came to Singto's house for practice. Lets just say, he needed a personal practice and his boyfriend was the most suitable person to be his personal trainer. The coach just thought Krist wanted to spend more time with Singto due to the fact that Singto would be flying back to America in a few days.
They both settled down after showering and dinner. Krist was on the bed, lying on his back, fiddling with Singto's phone in his hands. Singto on the other hand was arranging his clothes in his luggage. He would be leaving in 4 days and he knows this would be the hardest goodbye he will ever experience in his life. Both of them were awfully quiet. Singto knows that Krist was having a small battle in his head just like him.. It was hard to be saying goodbye when they just have a few days to themselves together. As much as he didn't want to leave Krist, he knows he needs to.
"I just wish I realise my feelings sooner." Krist suddenly said, breaking the silence between them. Singto looked up to him on the bed and stopped whatever he was doing to go to him.
"I know what you're thinking. Don't. You're making me feel even worse." he put his hands on Krist's arms. Krist looked at him for a mere second before getting up to sit on the bed. Singto's hands is taken into his as he squeezed softly.
"I'm sorry. Its just that, I don't think this will be easy for me." he said looking down to their hands, fiddling with Singto's fingers.
"You want me to stay?"
"No! Are you crazy? No! That's not what I meant. I just don't know if I can be cool about it. I don't think I can be an adult right now or ever. I might whine a lot, I might cry a lot so I don't want you to feel burdened by all this things." he said pulling Singto's hands intertwining their fingers tighter, if that's even possible.
"So you want me to go?" Singto lets out a teasing smile, he knows the matter was sensitive to Krist but he doesn't want to make it even more frustrating. Krist glared at his P' as he knows Singto was trying to make it as a joke.
"Okay okay.. Sorry.. It's not for long. My contract would probably end by December so we could be together after that. Its just in a few months." Singto tried to reasoned with the pouting boy.
"You're not extending?"
"How could I if my loverboy is here waiting for me with this pouty face?" he said, tapping Krist's lips making the other bit his lips. Krist didn't reply anything as he was in his thoughts. He didn't know how he would feel if this is how it already hurts even when Singto is not leaving yet. They look into each other's eyes, not a word came out of their lips. Krist felt like crying. He couldn't take this pain alone but he knew better than to ask Singto to stay. He's not selfish and he knows his limits. But the pain in his heart... its unbearable.
Singto was too, feeling like he was about to scream. He didn't know who to blame because no one is at fault. And that makes it a thousand times even worse because they did not have someone to blame for this. His heart is swelled up by the love he has for the other boy and he wasn't going to make it hard for the both of them. He chose not to say anything to Krist.
Slowly, he leaned in—slowly to capture Krist's lips with his. Krist was aware of the act because of Singto's slow movement and hint of hesitation, and he just close his eyes, waiting for it to come. Just as their lips connect, all of their worries flew away through the window. It was the first, but it felt so familiar and right. Their lips moves slowly and sweetly, not wanting to let go like it was the last time they could ever see each other again. The tears pooling in Krist's eyes that was threatening to fall eventually meet touch with his cheeks. That moment, both of them realises that they have made the right decisions and they promised themselves, one to stay and wait and the other to come back to the other's arms.

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?
