Voices echoed along the hallways as the bell rang. Sounds of laughters and footsteps clicking fast, people making way as three boys was running through.
A loud thud and a groan was heard coming from two boys when a collision happened right in front of the teacher's office.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't see you." Krist quickly apologised and helped the person to pick up their stuff that was scattered around. He looked up to see a man with a black sunglassess.
"You shouldn't be running in the hallway but its fine." the person replied. Krist was a little bit dumbfounded but he just smiled it off. He apologised again and was replied with a nod before the guy walked away leaving him still in his confused state. He was about to walked away to his class when....
"Krist Perawat!" that made Krist's feet glued almost immediately to the floor. He mentally cursed and bit his lips. His hands clasped together and he turned around ever so slowly because whatever it is thats going to come out from the person's mouth is no other than the things thats called disaster. Oh well at least for him it is.
"How many times do I have to tell you? NO RUNNING IN THE HALLWAY. How old do you think you are? 7?"
"I'm sorry, Mrs Pin." he said looking down, rubbing his nape with a stupid grin on his face.
"And you think sorry will fix everything?." the teacher pulled out a pen and her notebook to scribble something and Krist knows what was gonna come after.
"It won't happen again." he tried his luck to save himself from what was coming only to get dissapointed by the slightest hope he had.
"You said that everytime. 1 hour detention!" his heart dropped. Eventhough he was expecting that to happen, the feelings was worse when it was actually said directly to his pretty face.

"But!"
"You have no rights to argue!"
"But I have practice today.." he tried to reason again but to no avail.
"You should've thought about that next time BEFORE doing things against my rule." Mrs Pin replied back, not budging even a little bit.
"But I-"
"One more but and you won't even be able to see the door of the gym today, Perawat." she said and passed the detention slip to Krist before walking away from the boy. Krist sighed, shaking his head before walking to his class.
*******
"Again?"
"Yes coach." The coach shake his head at the information.
"Alright then. Its fine. Continue!" and the practice resumes.
It was an hour and 15 minutes later that Krist came running into the gym. Everyone turns to him for a second before continue doing whatever it is they are doing. Krist panted and crouch down to touch his knees, trying to catch his breath.
"What happened to you?" The coach asked.
"Sorry coach. I was in detention." he replied with an apologising tone, in his heart hoping that the coach won't burst out on him, which was never the case to be honest. The coach loves him too much to even raise a tone at him.
"Yeah, I heard. Running around again?" he asked making Krist nod in embarrassment. The coach shake his head.
"When will you ever change?" he said and Krist bit his lips in embarrassment. "Its okay. Go continue your practice. But you know what to do after."
"Yes, coach." he said and nodded. The coach signalled him to go so he went running to the team getting a few playful punches before scattered around after hearing the warning wisel from the coach.

The floor shrieked as it made contact with the shoes as Krist was leisurely practicing by himself due to his late arrival to the gym. He worked on some free throws before he heard footsteps coming in from the front door. He just turned his head to the direction and smiled. The guy smiled back and nodded. Krist was going to continue his practice but the guy was distracting him.
The later looks oddly familiar to him. He squinted his eyes to see the guy who was sitting on one of the bleachers. When he finally recognise the face, his eyes widened in the roundest way possible with his small eyes.
"Is that....?" he asked to himself a question he wasn't even sure of the answer. He was contemplating with himself whether to approach the person or not when the later looked up to him with a confused face. He guess he had no other choices than to just greet the guy since the later already caught him staring.
"Hye.." he raised his hands to greet the person.
"Hey. Sorry. Am I disturbing you?" the person replied with a soft smile. Krist quickly shake his head.
"No no no. You're not. I was just......" he paused and a bit hesitant to ask the question. The person gave him a look and he just decided to continue.
"I'm sorry but you're Singto Prachaya, right?" the question received a small smile from the person and Krist thought that his smile was the sweetest on earth.
"Yes.. I am. You are?" Singto holds out his hands to shake with Krist who clearly seems so starstrucked when the former confirmed his identity.
"I'm Krist. Krist Perawat. Its an honour to meet you." he said, accepting the handshake, and controlling all emotions not wanting the person in front of him know that he was bursting out inside.
"Ahh. Krist. I've heard about you from my dad." Singto replied and Krist was about to retaliate.
"You have? Wait! Is your dad.....?"
"The coach? Yeah, that's my dad." he smiled. At the same time, Singto's dad aka the coach came into the gym.
"You didn't tell me your son is THE Singto Prachaya." Krist whined to the coach.
"I did. I mentioned about him being in the national team."
"Yeahh but you didn't mention his name." he continued to show his unsatisfaction of his coach's revealed secret.
"I did. You didn't pay attention that time. You weren't very interested, I must say." the coach laughed at Krist. Singto just smiled because he didnt know what to say. The coach puts his hands on Krist and just pats the boy still laughing at the pouting 18 years old.
It seems like they have a very close relationship for his father to treat the boy like that, he thought. His mind was thinking away when he felt a light touch on his shoulder.
"Let's go. We'll drop Krist at his grandma's and we'll go straight home." Singto nodded and they walked away talking with each other about some things.
Please don't kill me 😭
