Micah stared at Ethan and then shook his head sighing, " She knows"

What?

He knew it? Ethan was involved too? What did they exactly wanted from me? What would they gain by playing with me? Entertainment? Fun?

Did Ethan wanted to get back at me because I insulted him? Because I told him to stay away from me? Did he wanted to get revenge? Did he wanted for me to fall for him and then he will make fun of me? He wanted me to chase him like a mad person and then he would have broken my heart.

I looked both of them in disbelief," Why?"

Ethan eyes softened when he saw the confusion and disbelieve in my eyes, he tried to step forward. I shook my head taking a step back to create as much as distance between us.

" Just why? Just because I stopped chasing like a mad person, your ego got hurt and you wanted to hurt me?" I asked looking at him for answers.

" No.. just listen to me" he spoke softly

" You wanted to play with me? Did you think I would fall for your tricks and chase you like a mad person? You are utterly wrong, I am not a fool you take me for"

" Daisy..." he tried to speak shaking his head.

I cut him off," You joined with him to make fun of me" I pointed at Micah," All the while he was saying good things about you, saying that you liked me and all the bullshit."

The one thing which I never did was to believe people blindly, but I did it. I beleved so many people that they caused me misery.

" I would have apologized....I would have....." I looked into his blue eyes which I found beautiful, but they say that beautiful things are the most dangerous in this world, true, indeed true.

" I would have apologized for....insulting you, apologized for saying you to stay away from me" I felt difficult to breathe, the mountain of emotions was so large that it became difficult to speak. " You could have told me to stay away from you instead, I would have accepted it, but no you wanted me to entertain you like a...... pathetic.....pathetic clown I am."

" No, you are wrong. I didn't wanted to hurt you. I won't even think of hurting you. " he shook his head, there was pain in his eyes and his voice turned a little hoarse.

" Daisy listen to me please" he said taking a step forward, I did not move away this time," Please let me explain it properly to you...."

I looked into his blue eyes with my own brown eyes which were filled with tears," What do you want to explain? Were you not involved into it? Did you not know about it? Did you two not plan this together?"

" I was, I knew about it and we planed it together too. I really didn't know what else to do to get close to you." he held my arms and looked at me," You said you wanted me to stay away from you, I tried, I tried to stay away from you but I couldn't do it. I really really tried to but I was not able to"

I kept staring at his blue eyes, his face and his lips, which I kissed in my imagination.
