I was bored so thought lets update a chapter.

Daisy's Pov

" Damn she was really...." Micah tried to find right words to describe Emma.

" Delusional, stupid and pretentious" I completed.

" Yeah, you got that right." He nodded.

Emma ran away crying when she could not come up with something when I insulted her. I mean I know that you are the female lead but you can't be that arrogant right.

Too much of something is bad.

Micah and I were going to Williams & Co., probably something happened to his car and his driver called him to wait for few minutes. Instead of waiting he wanted me to give him a lift to Williams, he wants to speak to dad about the deal, he says.

" I think she likes Mr.King" he suddenly said looking at me.

" You think?" I arched my eyebrow at him keeping my eyes on road." She definitely likes. She is obsessed with him."

" Are you for real?" he widened his eyes at me.

" Yep, she thinks that I was the one who told Ethan to fire her. She even thinks that I like Ethan and that is why tried to get rid of her" I said in disbelief.

" I don't know about you. But I can definitely tell that he likes you" he suddenly said making me hit the brakes surprised. We jerked forward a little, if not for the seat belts we would have been plasted to the windscreen.

My heart actually skipped a beat, it started to beat wildly. I breathed hard to calm my heart.

" Do you want to kill us?" he looked at me clutching his heart.

" It was your fault. Who told you say something unbelievable?" I said starting the car once again.

" My fault?" he angrily said" I told the truth okay"

" No, Ethan doesn't like me?" I shook my head.

" He likes you, I can see it. The look in his eyes when he heard me calling you with a nickname was something only a jealous person can have. I almost thought he was going to kill me." he shuddered with fright.

" How is that possible?"

" Why is it not possible? Why can't he like you?" he asked looking at me raising his eyebrows.

" How can he like me? He can't have feelings for me, okay. " I shook my head frantically.

That can't be possible, right?

He is doomed to like Emma.

" That is what I am asking , Why can't he have feelings for you?" he pressed for answers.

" He can't have feelings for me because..because he just can't okay" I don't know how to explain this situation to him.

I can't tell him that a cannon fodder and male lead can't be together.

" Do you wan't to bet on it?"

" Bet on what?" I asked bewildered by words.

" Bet that he likes you or not? I will prove it you that he likes you. " he looked at me.

" This is rediculous, why would we bet on something ..."

He interrupted me," What? Are you not confident?"

" Huh?"

" Are you afraid that you will lose?" he explained.

Am I?

No definitely not. But I really want to give it a try.

Maybe it can be true.....just a little bit....

" What will you do?" I asked parking my car and turned towards him .

" Nothing I will just prove it to you that he likes you" he said seriously.

I arched an eyebrow," Exactly how?"

He hesitated a bit, avoiding eye contact," You will have to do as I say just for a little while."

" What will I have to do?" I asked.

" You see you will just have to pretend to be my girlfriend so..."

"I am not doing that" I interrupted

".......that we can see his reaction and I know he will definitely be jealous" he completed.

" This is insane, I am not doing it." I got out of the car and started to walk towards the building.

He chased after me," Come on you will just have to pretend, I will do all the work you just have to agree, nothing else."

" NO" I walked into the elevator and pressed the button for my floor.

He entered as well turning towards me," Come on don't be such a bummer. Haven't you watched it in movies and believe me this will work"

" Exactly this is not a movie. It won't work"

" What if it worked?" he questioned me.

I looked towards the screen waiting for my floor to appear," It won't"

" How'd you know if you don't try?" he dramatically raised his arms in the air.

The elevator dinged and I walked out towards my office followed by Micah.

" Hey say something?" he asked looking at me when I sat on my chair.

I narrowed my eyes at him," What's your catch in this?"

He smiled," I want you both to help realize your feelings"

I scoffed rolling my eyes at him," That's a load of bullshit"

" Come on I am good guy, I like to help society." he righteously said.

" Society? Do enlighten me how is this considered as help to the society?"

He blinked and widenend his eyes," When you two get together, you both will have little babies and it will help increase population and also leading to young talent being born. Our country will be progressed."

" Hahaha...very funny" I fake laughed " Now tell the truth"

He sighed," You see I want to see Ethan getting jealous and tortured. He has always surpassed me in business, atleast I want to tease him a little."

I narrowed my eyes ," You want to use me for your personal gains? Not that it will work anyways."

" Atleast give it a try, and by doing so, its your profit okay" he tried to convince.

" How is it my profit?"

" You get to pretend being a girlfriend of such a hot, sexy, amazingly handsome and incredibly intelligent hunk" he shamelessly boasted.

" I would rather date a dog than a narcissist like you." I rolled my eyes.

" Hey, am I that bad?" he asked offended.

" Believe me you are worse." I smiled.

He pouted," Come on you just have to pretend."

I thought for a while, its not loss to just to pretend. And I am bored anyways maybe he can provide some entertainment from time to time. It won't hurt to pretend, right?

" Okay" I agreed.

He gave me a 100 watt smile," Deal, I will prove it you that he likes you just in a week"

" So confident?"

" Yep, I won't lose bets." he brushed the tip of his nose proudly raising his head.

" We'll see" I nodded.
