Marinette Al Ghul Wayne sighed. It'd been a while since she'd seen her mother, or her twin brother.... She missed them.
Marinette's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden slam of the classroom door. In walked a woman with a striking figure, dark brown hair, and toxic green eyes.
Mrs. Bustier looked affronted by the sudden interruption.
"Excuse me Ma'am. I'm afraid you may have the wrong classroom." She said, but the woman who had entered payed her no heed. Eyes scanning the room, she finally caught sight of her daughter.
Marinette stood up, placed her hands on her hips, and said,
"Talia." The woman, now dubbed Talia smiled at her.
"My darling! Look how you've grown!" Marinette's expression turned even more sour, if that was possible.
"Don't 'My darling' me, Mother." Marinette spat, "You left me! I finished the assignment perfectly! It was probably my very best Mission I've ever done! But that wasn't enough for you, was it? No. You left me in this godforsaken place without a second look. So tell me, what, just WHAT was so important that you never came back?!"
Talia sighed,
"Marinette, I would have come back for you darling, but my father.... And I had to take care of Damian. You know how it goes."
Marinette's class was confused, first off, who was this lady, and why was Marinette calling her 'mother' and what did she mean 'left me in assignment'???
Marinette rolled her eyes.
"Yeah-? Well Grandfather is dead in case you didn't know, and Damian.... Where is he? How is he? Is he alright?"
"I know Ra's is dead! I had to re-build the league from scratch!" Talia practically yelled at Marinette, and Marinette growled.
" you think I didn't know that? I could have helped you! I could have stood by your side!" Marinette paused for a second then realized something.
"Mother. Where. Is. Damian." Talia sighed and nearly whispered,
"He's with your father..." Marinette froze.
"In Gotham! Mother! Are you trying to kill him?! And with father of all people! I thought he wasn't supposed to know we existed! You LIED to me!!"
