Byakuya took his daughter to see Captain Unohana to see if if she was okay. She was no longer sickly looking, so he wasn't exactly sure, but he had high hopes that it had something to do with the Zanpakuto that appeared next to her.

After a brief checkup, Unohana faced Byakuya, "It's a miracle, but there is no longer any trace of the previous disease in her body, she is in perfect health." Unohana said and (Y/n) smiles at her dad from the top of the medical table.

"But, how?" Byakuya asks.

"You said she had gained a Zanpakuto? Even though it's never happened for a child at such a young age, it could be why she is alive and healthy." Unohana said looking at the Zanpakuto in Byakuya's hand.

"This should be brought to Captain Yamamoto's attention." Unohana said picking (Y/n) up and placing her on the ground and she ran to hug her father.

"I'll do it after this." Byakuya said picking up his daughter.

Unohana nodded and excused herself for she had other patients to attend to. Byakuya walked out of the Squad 4 barracks, and made his way to the Squad 1 barracks.

The walk there was silent. (Y/n) took in the sights that were around her. It was all unfamiliar to her since she has never left the Kuchiki residence before. Before she knew it, she was face to face with the Captain of Squad 1. Byakuya set (Y/n) on her own feet and she hid behind her father.

"What is this, Captain Kuchiki?" the elderly man asked.

"This is my daughter, Kuchiki (Y/n). I assume you knew of her condition from when she was born?" Byakuya asked and Yamamoto nodded.

"Well, it appears that her condition has completely disappeared, and she has gained a zanpakuto." he added and held up (Y/n)'s Zanpakuto.

"Bring it here." he said and another man who also had white hair, but looked very proper held the sword, and set it in front of Captain Yamamoto. 

"Yes, well, this is a very rare Zanpakuto. Very few people are able to get this particular sword." Yamamoto said and set the sword down. He then looked at (Y/n). "Come here, child." he said standing from his chair.

(Y/n) looked up at her father and he nodded so she straitened her posture and walked towards the Squad 1 Captain and nervously bowed her head.

"No need for formalities child." he said and he gave the sword to her and (Y/n) clutched it tightly in her hands and thanked Yamamoto for returning her zanpakuto.

"Your Reiatsu seems a bit unstable, most likely because you received a great amount of it so quickly. I think, the best course of action would be for you to live in the human world for a few years. Since your body will naturally absorb the reiatsu around you, the abundance of Reiatsu in Soul Society might be dangerous for you. In the human world, you can slowly learn how to control it, while living in a gigai." Yamamoto said to me.

"Sir, she has no experience. If we send her out, she'll be easy prey for Hollows." Byakuya said out of concern.

"Hmm, true. But, if you live here, you may hurt yourself and others without realizing it. If you live out there, that may help you restrict your reiatsu as you train." he said and I nodded.

"If daddy says okay, then I'll do it.." I said and looked behind me and Byakuya crouched down and I walked over to him and he hugged me. 

".. Do you want to do this?" he asked me.

"I don't want to hurt people, and... I wanna go to the human world." I smiled and he sighed and nodded.

"Alright." he said and kissed my forehead.

"We will send her to a safe area. Don't worry so much Captain Kuchiki." The other guy said.

The next few days, Byakuya spent his days with his daughter and teaching her some basic Kido. Also some rules when speaking to humans. The next day, (Y/n) was off to the human world.

"Now remember, you'll age slower than the humans so you can't make a lot of friends. They will all grow older faster than you, and they might become scared of you, so remember to be careful, alright?" Byakuya asked and I nodded.

"These 2 will escort you through the gate, be careful." Byakuya said and ruffled the hair on (Y/n)'s head. (Y/n) gave her father a tight hug before saying her goodbye.

Her 2 escorts were a man and a woman. "Don't be scared kid. We'll make sure you get to the human world safely." the guy said.

"Kaien, don't scare the girl." The woman said and smiled at (Y/n). "Let's go sweetie" she said and held her hand out to (Y/n), which she grabbed. 

"I'll hold you zanpakuto for you" The guy, Kaien said and (Y/n) nodded and he held the Katana for (Y/n).

"What's your name Miss?" (Y/n)asked the lady.

"My name is Miyako." she smiled at me.

"You're very pretty." (Y/n) said smiling.

"Well, that pretty lady is this handsome man's girlfriend." Kaien said smiling proudly.

"Eh? Nuh uh, daddy is most handsomest." (Y/n) said sticking her tongue at him, making Miyako laugh.

"Ack! You're so harsh kid." Kaien said, fake crying making (Y/n) laugh.

"What squad are you two in?" she asked them.

"Squad 13." Miyako said and (Y/n) nodded.

After more small chat, they finally reached the human world. "Now, this is as far as we take you." Miyako said crouching down to (Y/n)'s height, hugging her.

"This town is called Karakura." Kaien said handing (Y/n) her zanpakuto.

"Thank you for bringing me here." (Y/n) said bowing.

"No problem. Be careful, and be safe." Kaien said poking the child's cheek and (Y/n) smiled and nodded.

"Bye bye. Tell my daddy I'll miss him." (Y/n) said and they both nodded.

(Y/n) turned and walked towards the exit and turned to wave bye to the two shinigami and they waved bye in return and then she set foot in the human world. She turned to see the door behind her disappear. (Y/n) sighed and began walking, hoping to find a shinigami, or maybe a place to sleep in since it was night time.

"Oh, now what do we have here..." (Y/n) looked around and no one was around, except for a black cat, perched on a bench, sitting under a street light.
