"Six more days until I get to see you" I smiled uncontrollably at my phone.

"I can't wait to see you in person again. It's been seventy-one days since I last kissed you"

I giggled and looked at the boy on the other side of the screen. "Someone's been counting"

"Only for you snowflake."

"Mm I miss you" I told him.

He looks at me almost apologetic. "Yeah I miss you too."

"Oh I almost forgot something. I think I've picked my major" I smiled excitedly.

"What is it?"

"Biology. I want to become a doctor. Specifically a pediatrician."

He nodded proudly. "How'd you come up with that?"

"When Mom and Sky got in their car accident, I watched the doctors take care of Sky and calm her down. They were such a big help. I looked around the hospital and the smiles on the kids' faces were unmistakable. I want to do that. I want to help and putting a smile on a hurting child's face just seems like what I was supposed to do"

"Wow Cora. I'm so proud of you." My heard fluttered at his words.

"I just feel like it's perfect for me. Now I'm just excited to start learning and become a doctor" I laughed.

"A lot of people struggle through trying to find a major that they are excited to learn about and that leads to their future career, but you found it. I couldn't be more proud of you"

"I'm really exited, I can't hold it in anymore." I squealed.

"Well you have the rest of this year to find the perfect college" he told me with a smile.

I groaned and threw my head back. "That's the hard part. Do you know how many colleges there are in the United States?"

He laughed. "A lot"

"A lot and too much to choose from. Enough about me. I want to hear more about you. How's football coming?" I asked.

"Good, Coach Freeman said I could potentially be starting quarterback next year" his smile took over his face.

I squealed. "Will that's so exciting! I can't believe that!"

I literally couldn't be more proud of my boy. His dream was finally coming true.

"I know I can't believe it either."

We talked for hours. I haven't done this in so long. I didn't only miss him but I missed being around him. I missed the little things he does for me.

It was ten thirty here. Which meant it was eleven thirty there.

"Will, it's eleven thirty. You have practice and a test tomorrow. You need sleep"

"But I want to stay up and talk to you"

"Will?" He hummed in response. "Goodnight"

My finger hovered over the end call button.

"Wait!" He called out to me. "Can you stay on until I fall asleep?" He asked.

I nodded with a smile. "Of course." I told him.

He yawned and got situated in bed. I did the same as I grew tired. My phone was the only source of light.

"Six more days" he whispered.

"Six more days" I whispered back.

Before I knew it, he was asleep and snoring quietly.

I fell asleep to the sweet sound.

"Three more days until I get to see Will!" I squealed as I ran down to the kitchen.

Everyone looked at me all smiling.

"That's very exciting for you, sweetie" Mom said and kissed my head. "Do you want pancakes?"

I nodded. "Yes please"

Remi walked in and went straight to kiss Carter than hug me. She hugged me from behind as I sat at the table.

"Hey Rem" I said and hugged her as much as I could from my position. She sat next to me and Carter was next to her.

Mom set my plate in front of me. "Thanks Mom"

"You're welcome, Sweetie. Remi would you like any pancakes? There's more than enough for you."

"Um sure, I'll take one. Thank you Harper"

"It's no problem" she smiled and went to continue the pancakes.

I spread butter and syrup all over my pancakes before digging in. They weren't chocolate chip but they were pretty damn good.

Remi got hers and did the same thing. She practically devoured it.

"Randy stop" Mom laughed and pushed Dad away from her playfully.

"What?" He asked surrendered. "I just wanted to kiss my beautiful girlfriend" he defended.

"Randy, you know exactly what you're doing" she smacked him.

They were too cute. I couldn't wait until he proposed to her and she officially became a part of this family.

He kissed her as an apology. She accepted.

We left for school once Carter was finished with his food.

Will was on his way to his one and only class today. As far as I know he doesn't have practice because there's no game this week or the next. I quickly texted him.

I quickly got outside and hopped in Remi's car.

We got to school just in time to talk for a few minutes then go to class. Our small group was in our normal spot. There was a new girl there. I've seen her around before but she's never hung out with us before.

"Hey guys, who's this?" I asked.

She was standing closer to Nick than Tommy so I assumed she was his guest.

"This is Reagan. She's a friend of mine" Nick explained.

"Don't let Sky know about her. She'll be upset Nicky" I used the nickname that he only lets my sister call him. He hates it when it comes from anyone else.

"Who's Sky?" She asked with a slight bitterness to her tone.

Nick glared at me.

Shit, I didn't mean to start shit.

"She's my five year old sister. She's kind of obsessed with him" I explained.

She seemed relaxed after that. That's definitely more than friends.

The bell rang and we went to class.

Classes were going by too slow for my liking. They just seemed to drag on forever. I just wanted the next three days to pass by fast, but that wouldn't happen.

Finally lunch came around and I got really happy. I could call Will. He should've only had one class this morning.

I called him, but he didn't pick up. He was probably studying or doing homework.

My mind wandered to Will coming home and my slight disappointment quickly vanished.

"Why are you so happy?" Logan asked.

"Will's coming home in three days and I'm so excited."

"Oh that's great" he half-smiled.

"I can't wait for you to meet him. I feel like y'all are going to be good friends."

"Sounds fun" he said and we sat at the table.

"Please don't be mad at me but I can't take you home." Remi told me after school.

I shrugged. "No biggie. Can you give me a ride to the field? I'll have Dad drive me home."

"Yeah" she told me as we walked down the hall.

We walked out the doors and I saw someone leaning against Remi's car.

"Rem, there's someone at-" I trailed off when I saw exactly who was leaning up against her car.

I turned back to Remi who was filming the entire thing. My hand flew over my mouth and I almost fell over in excitement.

"Hey snowflake" his voice sounded from a few feet away.

I ran into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. The arms wrapped around me squeezed so much I was almost out of breath. Three months since I last saw him. I couldn't believe he was there.

"You weren't supposed to be here for another three days." I said in shock.

"I came a few days early to surprise you" he said.

He set me down but his arms kept a firm grip around my waist. I wasn't going anywhere. I noticed Remi stopped filming.

"I can't believe you Erickson. Who else knows you are here?" I asked.

"As of this moment, you and Remi" he answered.

"You haven't seen your family yet?"

He shook his head. "I came to see you right after I landed. I was going to pick up Kenz and take her home to surprise my parents, but I had to see you first."

I didn't want to leave him or him to leave me. I wanted to be as close as I could be.

"Can I come?" I asked softly.

"Of course you can snowflake, but before we do that"

I was about to ask what he was talking about when he crashed his lips to mine. I smiled and kissed him back.

"Boy did I miss that. It's been a seventy-four days without your kisses and I finally got them" he told me.

"Well I'm glad you did" I chuckled at him.

"Yeah me too" he smiled.

"Let's go surprise your sister" I said.

We ended up dropping off Remi at practice for Carter and Dad to have. She'd probably end up at our house anyway. She generously let us use her car.

I texted her so she knew not to get on the bus.

"Okay I told her Remi and I were picking her up she should be here soon." I told Will.

"Thank you"

He got out of the car and hid from her view. I saw her coming as she walked while on her phone. She got to the car and went to open the door.

"Here let me get that for you" Will said and opened the door.

"Than- Will?!" She launched herself on to Will.

"Hey Kenz" he said and squeezed his little sister a little tighter.

"Why? How? Wha- When?" She stumbled over her words.

"Practice got canceled since there's no game and I don't have class tomorrow so I thought I'd surprise everyone."

"Do Mom and Dad know?" She asked him.

He shook his head. "I wanted to pick you up and go surprise them."

"Get in the car! Let's go! Dad's gonna be so excited" she shoved Will and hopped in the backseat.

Will laughed and got in the front seat next to me. He looked over at me with absolute happiness as I pulled out of the school parking lot and drove him home.

Kenzie and I walked up to the front door and walked in like normal.

"Oh hey Cora, I didn't know you were grabbing Kenzie today" Karla said and hugged me with Ryan on her hip.

"It was a little surprise. Thought I'd pick her up and come see y'all really quick." I smiled at her.

"Is Dad home?" Kenzie asked.

Karla nodded. "Yeah in the kitchen" and pointed to the kitchen. Kenzie went to the kitchen to greet her dad.

"Can I hold Ryan?" I asked Karla.

She nodded and handed him over to me. He had a cute smile on his face and dimples. I bounced him and the doorbell rang.

Perfect timing.

Karla opened the door and screamed. She slapped her hand over her mouth and fell down in shock.

"What's wrong?" Micheal ran to us and saw his son. Karla jumped up and Michael ran over to give him a hug.

Tears welled up in my eyes as Kenz went and joined the group hug. A few seconds later, they dispersed

"I can't believe you're here" Karla said as she gave him and individual hug.

"I missed you so much" he hugged his son tight. "I'm so proud of you" he almost cried into his shoulder.

"Thanks Dad" Will cried and they broke away.

He hugged Kenzie again and made his way to me.

"Hey buddy" he said and leaned down to his little brother's height. He took him out of my arms and held him in his. He kissed his head and held him close.

There may have been some tears shed at the sight. He loves his brother so much and is devastated having to watch him grow up through a screen.

He kissed me again and looked over at his family with tear in his eyes.

"I love you guys and I missed you" he cried.
