"Hey sweetie, how was your day?" Harper asked as I walked into the house. She whipped something up in a bowl.

"Good, what are you making?" I asked as I walked over to her.

"Cookies." She answered.

I hummed happily. "How was your day? Anything intriguing happen?"

"Oh yeah those old folks really know how cause a big ruckus. Drama all over the place, screaming grandmothers and all that" she joked.

I laughed with her. "Yeah I bet"

Harper worked at a nursing home in the next town over. It never took long to drive there, thirty minute drive tops.

"Where's the nugget?" I asked.

"She is with her friend until Carter picks her up after practice. They had a play date scheduled for a while but we've all been so busy. She was so excited to go today" she chuckled at tte thought of her daughter.

"That's cute. Do you want any help?" I asked.

She nodded and scooted over so I could reach the bowl. I turned on some music and helped pour in the chocolate chips.

The oven beeped, telling us it was ready. We sang along to songs together and laughed when one of us messed up. We finished putting the cookies on the pan and put them in the oven.

We talked a little bit more about our days as we waited for the cookies to bake. Our favorite song came on "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice. We looked at each other before breaking into song.

"All right stop collaborate and listen" she sang.

"Ice is back with a brand new invention" I came in.

We rapped the rest of the song together screaming at the top of our lungs like a pair of teen girls, though only one of us were such.

We heard slow clapping after our performance to see Dad and the boys looking at us with amused looks on their faces.

"What a show, girls" Dad laughed.

"And I thought I was the funny one in the family" Coop said.

My face lit up as I realized him for the first time.

"Coop!" I squealed and ran into his arms. He hugged me back with a laugh.

"I missed you, Coco." He said into my shoulder.

We all talked and Dad started on dinner. We were having burgers. Dad fixed way to many burgers. There were at least four more than there people in the house.

"Dad that's too many burgers" I pointed out.

"We might have some guests coming over. They'll be here soon." He shrugged and went to turn on the grill.

A smile spread across my face. I didn't know who was coming over, but I had a feeling it was the boys and Remi, maybe even Logan.

"Harp, I think your cookies are done" Coop called from the fridge. He was grabbing something to drink.

Harper and I both jumped up to get the cookies out of the oven. They looked and smelled absolutely delicious.

Connor reached over to grab a cookie but I smacked his hand before he could touch it. "No cookies until after dinner"

He pouted but walked away anyway. We got the cookies to the cooling rack.

Soon enough the doorbell rang and I was the only one in the house. I walked over to the door and opened the front door.

To my surprise, Karla, Micheal, Kenzie, and Grayson were standing there. Karla held Ryan while Michael held the diaper bag.

Kenzie's arms wrapped around me and I hugged her back. We blocked the doorway.

"I missed you so much, Cora." She said.

"I missed you too, Kenz." She let go and I let all of them in the house.

They situated their things in the living room and I gave them all hugs. I started with Grayson and Michael then moved to Karla.

"Look at his little chubby face" I cooed at Ryan. "He's so big. Can I hold him?" Karla handed him over to me and I played with him happily.

"Everyone is outside, making burgers. Beers are in the fridge if you want one." I said. "We have drinks for you kids too" I told Grayson and Kenzie.

Michael grabbed a beer as Karla and him went outside.

I sat down next to Kenzie and we gossiped while I bounced Ryan in my lap. I've only seen Kenzie a couple of times since I got back. I haven't had a lot of time since I got back from Indiana.

"So any soccer games I can come watch soon?" I asked.

"Grayson and I have one Saturday. Mine's at nine and his is eleven."

"I will definitely try to be there. I've been dying to see you play again. I'm always here if you want to got to the park and kick around a little bit."

She hugged me. "Thank you Cor. I really have missed you"

"Me too Kenz"

"Dinners ready!" Dad called into the house.

We made our way outside. I handed the baby off to his mom. We all sat around each other eating and talking. Today was Ryan's first birthday. So Karla brought a cupcake for him to eat.

"Have you talked to Will today?" I asked Karla.

She nodded. "He called this morning to tell Ryan happy birthday. We got to talk a little bit but he had to go to class not long after. Have you talked to him lately?"

"We try to call or FaceTime everyday but that's not possible. We text all the time, but we're both busy. I'm supposed to FaceTime him tonight"

She smiled at me. "I'm glad you get to talk to him and see him"

I smiled back and nodded. "Yeah me too"

"I'm done with dinner. Cookie time!" Coop exclaimed and jumped up to run to the kitchen.

We all laughed at Cooper. God, did I miss him. I didn't even realize how much I missed him until I saw him again. He said he was in town for the game tomorrow but had to leave after.

He came back out with a mouth full of cookies and more in his hands.

"I swear Cooper Mason if you eat all of the cookies in one night you will be sorry" I threatened.

He nodded with his eyes wide. Everyone again laughed at him.

We all talked for a while but soon enough everyone had to leave. The Erickson's had to get Grayson home and it was almost time for nugget's bed time.

"I'm going apartment shopping this weekend. Anyone care to join?" Connor announced.

We all shook our heads. Connor and shopping for anything is practically impossible. He never likes anything and if he did he'd convince himself not to buy it to save money.

"Lena's coming. We need to decide if we're gonna need a roommate or not."

"I'm glad you and Lena are gonna move in together." I smiled at my brother.

"Yeah it'll be nice to have you out of the house" dad joked and we all laughed.

Con sent him a small glare but cracked a smile. "Ha ha Dad very funny."

"Oh I'm very serious. I thought Cora was gonna move out before you did" he smiled and clapped his son on the back before heading up to his room.

I realized it was time to call Will and I happily ran to my room and sat on my bed. I clicked on the FaceTime app and pressed Will's name.

The call connected and his face showed up on the screen.

"Hey Snowflake, what's up?" He smiled. He was walking outside, most likely walking home from CC.

"Hey babe. Your family just left after dinner. How was school?"

"It was great. I only had three classes and a lab, but I made a friend. Her name is Ellie West and she's my Lab parter. We clicked right away and she's really friendly."

"Are you talking about me, Will?" A very beautiful blonde girl smiled from behind him as she practically jumped on his back.

"Ellie, this is my girlfriend, Cora Barnes. Snowflake, this is Ellie West, my new friend and lab partner." He introduced us to each other.

A smile took over her face. It was perfect. She had perfectly straight white teeth. "Oh my gosh, Will has told me so much about you. It's so good to meet you. Gosh, you are really pretty" she gushed.

My face heated up. "Um thank you"

"Did you get to see Ryan?" Will asked.

"Yeah, I haven't seen him in a while. He's gotten so big. Oh I miss him so much. Oh and Cooper came home. He's in town for the game but has to leave after."

"That's good." He said.

"Yeah and Connor's finally looking for apartments. I think he's going to get one with Lena. I'm not sure how set she is on another roommate though" I chuckled.

There were voices in the background and I heard music getting louder as he walked.

"Hey babe, I have to go. I will talk to you later, okay?"

"O-okay, where are you going? Not having too much fun without me, are you Erickson?" I teased him.

"Never Barnes. I'm at the bar. Before you say anything, it was Ellie's idea, not mine."

Ellie's walked into the frame. "Come on party pooper, stop talking to your girlfriend and have some fun. No offense Cora, you're great"

I smiled at her. "Sorry babe, I'll call back later. I promise, love you, bye" he hung up.

"Bye" I whispered to the black screen.

He met another girl. She's insanely beautiful. She's outgoing and super sweet. She's already dragging him around and hanging out with him. Didn't they only meet today?

I shouldn't worry about it. Will is a good boyfriend and I trust him. Plus she's just his friend, there's no reason for me to get all upset over nothing. For all I know she could have a boyfriend.

"Hey Coco, we're heading to Riley's want to come?" Carter popped his head into my room.

"Yeah, let me get my shoes on. Meet you downstairs?"

"Yeah, five minutes" he said and shut my door.

I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my wallet. It hardly had anything in it. Damn I really need a job. I sprayed on some perfume and made my way downstairs.

Connor grabbed his keys and we all headed outside. We piled into the car and made our way to Riley's.

"Hey Chantel, four vanilla milkshakes please" I said as I came up to the girl behind the register. The boys went and sat down.

"No problem, $9.86. Anything else?"

"No...actually do you think I could get application form?"

She smiled at me. "Of course. Fill this out and we can schedule an interview later" she handed me a paper. "I'll bring your milkshakes over in a minute"

I smiled back at her. "Thank you Chantel"

"Of the record, I think you have a good chance at the job"

"Thanks"

I walked over to the boys. They were talking about god knows what. They stopped when they realized I was there.

"What's that?" Carter asked.

"An application. I'm applying for a job here. No I will not get you free milkshakes or burgers" I answered before one of the dumbasses could ask. We all know that was their next question.

"Here's your milkshakes." Chantel smiled at all of us.

"Thank you Chantel" Coop called as she walked away. She waved at him as a you're welcome.

We messed around until it was almost time to close. I handed my application to Chantel and we scheduled a meeting for next week. The door bell rang. I assumed it was the boys leaving but they were all still inside.

"Get out Adrien. We're closed." Chantel snapped. I could tell she was alert and probably a little bit scared.

"I don't think so, sweetheart. You have something of mine, your brother requested I pick up." He said in a low voice.

There's no way I'm going to let this asshole get close to another one of my friends. Even if I don't know her that well, Chantel has always been super nice.

I stepped in front of him like I did at the football game. "Excuse me, I'm pretty sure she said it's closed. Get out" I said.

He groaned. "Not this again. Seriously bitch this is none of your business. This is between me and her brother. Step out of my way."

"And again when you mess with my friends it becomes my problem." I growled. "If you don't want to get punched in the face again, I'd suggest that you turn your ass around and leave"

He looked around and turned to Chantel. "You tell your brother, I'm getting what's rightfully mine one way or another" he turned around and stormed out of the door.

Chantel let out a breath of relief. "Thanks Cora. I thought I was gonna have to call the police."

"It's okay, Adrien is an asshole. I don't know what fifth grade me was thinking." I shook my head and laughed.

"Are you good here? Do you want us to stay around until you finish locking up?" Coop asked.

"Yeah we don't mind." Carter shrugged.

Chantel shook her head. "I'm good. Thank you though. Bye guys. See you next week, Cora"

"Of course. You'll probably see me before that though" I laughed.

She laughed and waved us goodbye. The boys were teasing Cooper about his offer to stay. I rolled my eyes at the immature idiots I proudly call my brothers.
