its never a new thing to find namjoon amidst a mess,
be it a shelf of files he accidentally knocked out in his office or be it a mafia downfall.
but unlike how he usually drops down to arrange the mess he made, namjoon this time willingly rolls into the core of the problem.
as a reward for helping with the intellect to trap jeon seokjin, namjoon was a given a promotion and a chance to choose a better post for himself.
and like the clumsy, mushy hearted alpha he is, namjoon transfers himself to the seoul high-security prison as their new superintendent.
it was such an odd job and no one in their right mind will choose themselves to be in the middle of dangerous criminals, but namjoon was determined and strict when he wanted to be.
in his defense, the job payed handsome and being the highest officer there now, he doesnt have to worry about higher-ups kicking him around.
and maybe, just maybe, he is worried about seokjin.
its not like namjoon doubts the betas ability to break bones. but still, seokjin is too pretty for his own good,
and the alpha cant seem to get a good ounce of sleep until he is sure he can keep an eye on the ex-mafia leader.
and oh is seokjin being a tease about it? absolutely!
"aw misssed me that much, joonie?" seokjin bats his lashes as namjoon came for his rounds, the beta somehow still looking infuriatingly beautiful in his orange prison uniform, fingers lazily stroking over the bars of his 'special' isolated cell.
unlike the other prison mates, seokjin hadn't have to worry about chores or his own safety, for jungkook had thrown in enough money and connections so that seokjins prison sentence looked as much as close to a vacation.
"shut it, jeon" namjoon says being the professional he is, but seokjin just bites his lips and winks the alphas way and red creeps up the alphas neck.
as namjoon was about to leave, seokjin huffs loudly- "come on, officer. dont leave so soon!", kicking his boot causing the bars to rattle.
namjoon stops and glares back.
"dont make me handcuff you, jeon" the alpha snaps, his baton swirling in his hand.
the beta's posture turns sly then.
"oh i like such things" seokjin purrs, eyes hooded and lips curving up,
and namjoon nearly trips on his haste to get out, stumbling in his own embarrassment, seokjins laugh quickly following.

when the weekend rolled in and work emails started piling up on his laptop, jungkook had to again reluctantly part ways with taehyung and their pups.
the documents never looked more unappealing as jungkook caught up reading through them and preparing notes for the meeting on his jet, the car already waiting for him in the airport and driving him straight to his company.
for the past weeks the staffs of starlight had some blissful peace without their ceo not shouting at them 24/7; the alpha resorting to decent communication for once.
but seems like it was not long lasting, for the shoutings started just as jungkook had reached the company that day, this time the new interns falling prey to it.
days fell through the same way; with jungkook cooped up in meetings and much more work, him getting out of the stress only when his phone dings with messages from taehyung, usually it being cute pics of his pups.

it was a tiring day and by evening jungkook had a bad headache.
he had came back to the apartment with the aggression of the week catching up to him, face a permanent scowl as he went straight to the inbuilt gym.
for the next thirty minutes, he spend taking out all his anger on the punching bag, fists meeting the surface again and again until sweat breaks on his forehead and his knuckles ache.
he was heaving and staggering by the time he was done, growling to no one in particular as the anger diminishes. then he made his way to the shower.
it wasn't really jungkooks idea to aim for the liquor cabinet after he was fresh and calmer, but his feet just took him itself to there.
dressed in a tank top with an unopened bottle of whiskey in his hand, the alpha was about to take a swig when the door bell chimed.
partially annoyed jungkook grunted, shaking his head where the wet hair sticks to his forehead before going to the door and opening it with an unnecessary force.
"how did you find my house?" jungkook immediately balked.
namjoon just smiled tight lipped where he stood in a flannel shirt, khaki pants and his eco friendly cloth bag on his shoulder.
"i asked yoongi" he shrugs.
"why are you here?"
"already backed away from our 'lessons'?"
jungkook frowns, however moves away from the doorway, namjoon takes it as his queue to get in.
"why are you suddenly so eager to help?" jungkook grumbles as he closes the whiskey bottle and places it on the kitchen counter.
namjoon again shrugs.
who knows, maybe he had talked about their meetings with seokjin, who might have smiled so prettily with twinkling eyes of gratitude at namjoon.
"how was your week?" the older alpha instead asks.
"work. lots of it" jungkook heavily plops himself on the couch.
"--thought you were going to stay the week with your family" namjoon distractedly says as he eyes an abstract painting on the wall.
jungkooks heart might have constricted a bit at the word 'family'- "i wanted to, but duty calls"
"why are you always so deep in work?-- cant you just hire more people?" namjoon finally takes a seat, attention fully on the other.
"its not that easy" jungkook scoffs.
well its not like jungkook had thought of it, but its really hard for him to trust someone fully. he would rather work himself to the bone than let someone stab him from the back.
"how did visiting taehyung go?"
"why are you interrogating me?"
"--i am just asking about your well being?"
jungkook glares.
the younger alpha sat, heaving, his scent increasing second by second not at all like the feeling of being scrutinized.
"dont do that, jungkook" namjoon suddenly snaps, dragon eyes sharp.
"What?" jungkook rumbles.
namjoon straightens up, his eyes accessing jungkook, gauging the others body language like he does at work.
"you're letting your scent overpower" he them states calm.
"whats the problem with that?" jungkook asks, defensive.
now, namjoon really buries his face in his hand, taking a calming gulp of air. well who knew teaching a mafia leader is as cumbersome as teaching an unrest toddler?

namjoon then rumages through his bag, eyebrows rising when he found what he was looking for.
jungkook yelps and coughs when a long splash of scent blockers was sprayed on him, swatting the can from namjoon as he stood up.
"What the fuck you think you're doing?!" he balls his fist ready to punch.
"teaching you the manners even ten year old kids know?!" namjoon grits back leveling up to the other.
now with his own scent nulled, jungkook could heavily detect the presence of namjoon alpha scents in the air, it only increasing as time pass by.
that didn't feel quite nice.
"stop that!" jungkook grumbles at the sudden uncomfortable feeling, of feeling the inferiority now in the face of lungful of another alpha scent.
but just as the pheromones came, they retreated.
namjoon had relaxed his posture and took his seat back on the couch,
"and thats why not controlling your scent is a problem" he calmly says.
jungkook stood in silence with balled up fists for quite sometime.
it was a truth that he use his scent as a medium to overpower on others. he is so used to doing it, it had become a second nature to him. but, now in the receiving end of the same treatment, it didn't feel quite nice.
"taehyung and i had fought-- i had let my scent out and he-he got scared i think?" jungkook murmurs as if going through the events of that night, finally finding the trigger of the conflict.
an omega with his newborn pups wouldn't nearly have liked such aggressive pheromones near his pups, be it a stranger or their own father.
instead of taking a seat, jungkook had then trotted towards the balcony, suddenly in need for some fresh air.
namjoon let him be, giving the other space to collect his thoughts as he himself busied with his phone.
minutes later namjoon joined jungkook on the balcony to let the other know that he's leaving.
"i'm a terrible father" jungkook had said, eyes unfocused on the night sky.
instead of the 'goodbye', namjoon heaved a sigh.
"i-i used to hate my parents-- they had left us- but now- when i think about it, i think they did it to protect us" jungkook unloads his thoughts.
"--but i still hated them so much"
"my pups- they're going to hate me too. t-they're going to think i left them" jungkooks voice wavers along with a sigh after saying that out loud, finally letting out all the things thats being plaguing his mind.
"you're overthinking it- the fact that you're getting better for them is enough. they'll never hate you"
never more had namjoons words felt better. the fact that there is someone to hear him and to tell him its going to be better was enough of a relief.
jungkooks hands were still was on a bruising grip on the railing, teeth worrying lower lip as he gazed into the little spots of lights in the city ahead of them.
"you know- crying wont make you any less of an alpha"
just as namjoon said those words, jungkooks shoulders shook with the intensity of the sob that left him.
he still however tried to turn his face away from namjoon, embarrassed at being a mess, but namjoon wasn't the one to judge a person.
tears freely fell down jungkooks eyes, them falling down onto his top and staining it in dark pools as jungkook cried away; his second breakdown after he had cried with his pup close to his chest, him injured and battered.
but this time, namjoon was there to place a soothing hand on his shoulder, albiet awkwardly, as he murmured that "its going to be okay".
once the tears stopped and he felt much relieved, jungkook frowned down-"shit, that was embarrassing" he said, voice heavy as he got inside grumbling.
"uh? then go back to being alpha-macho hybrid or whatever--" namjoon distractedly says as he gets his bag, giving a wave and going his way.

soon it was deep into the night, and jungkook laid on his bed not managing to get sleep.
on a whim, instead of the usual good night messages, jungkook clicked the button for face time.
it ringed for several seconds and when the alpha thought taehyung was going to ignore it, the call picked up.
at first all jungkook could see was taehyungs nose and the little mole on the tip, then there was rustling and grunts and jungkook saw a little feet kicking.
"everything okay?" jungkook asks, peering closer as he relaxed onto the pillow.
"they--wont go to sleep" taehyungs voice came as a frustrated whine, phone long forgotten on the changing bed, all jungkook could now see was the white ceiling.
there was a little angry sound from one of the pups, possibly taehyung putting the pup in their cradle, before taehyung picked up the phone again, the omegas disheveled appearance now visible.
"are you still running a cold?" taehyung squints and asks.
jungkook had forgotten that his face was still red from the earlier crying and self consciously rubs at his face.
"yeah-- a bit" he lies.
just then another little cry pierced through the phone and taehyungs face contorts.
"why are you two being difficult today--" the omega sighs before moving closer to the crib and the phone turns to camera mode were jungkook now saw the babies.
"hey now. whats the matter?" jungkook asks, a fond tilt in his voice and the crying stops momentarily as the pups perk up to their fathers voice.
"oh so you two just miss your appa?!" here was taehyungs baby talk voice and jungkook smiles.
"of course they would miss me" jungkook says smug.
now that the pups were settled, taehyung resorted to humming as he sat on the side, a few little yawns and restless coos later the pups eyes closed into hopefully a restless sleep.
"so, you found any names yet?" taehyung then asks, now the omegas face visible on the screen.
"oh yeah, i thought of a few!" jungkook perks up.
"okay, tell me"
"how about yejun and yujun?" jungkook asks.
"nah... too similar"
"haneul and siyul?"
"thats too common"
"junghwan and jungil?"
"thats similar to your name?!"
"thats the point!"
"not happening, jungkook!"
jungkook grunts and face-plants on his pillow,
"maybe we should stick with six toes and five toes"
"oh shut it!"

8 141Children of the Singularity (S4)
Even the end of the world had its beginnings. Most reminisce over comforts that seemed so common yesterday even though yesterday was so far away. A select few reminisced over the original pocket that now enveloped the world. It began with the Chernobyl disaster releasing an otherworldly being preying on humanity's very soul. It grew stronger with every scream, it’s corruption instilling absolute bedlam and madness. With the required elements all being present in that fateful year of 2012 the predator found it’s escape in those who became known as the Children of the Singularity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Artwork by AlexAlexandrov (deviantart)Metro 2033. 8 199My Haunted Academia(mha au) | DISCONTINUED
(I'm no longer updating this as I've lost all interest in it, but feel free to read the mess of what this was)Magic and monsters are indeed real. At least, that's what Deku thinks. He's heard many stories around his village about a safe haven for monsters deep in the forest. And it's safe to say that he's a big fan of these stories, along with his best friend; Bakugo. Since the death of his mother, and disappearance of his father, Deku sees no reason why they shouldn't go check it out. What will they find as the explore the haunted halls of UA? Monsters? Magic? A curse in which they can't escape? It's perfectly possible. At least, that's what they think. ......and they just might be right. (I've had this idea for a while now, and I think it's cool! FYI though, some chapters won't have a plot and will mainly be filler, but they're still good! Also none of the backgrounds are mine, and neither are the characters. This is a parody of the show My Hero Academia)
