"you cant bring all that"
caught red hand, taehyung blinks up from where he was in the process of trying to stuff another one of his nesting blankets into the black suitcase, jungkook who was out of shower looking down at him with disapproving eyes.
"they will fit" taehyung reasons petulantly, determinedly as one might say, as he now plunges his elbow on top of the suitcase all the while trying to fasten the zippers, lower lip jutted out and grunting until its closed, then clapping his hands once, triumphantly.
he stands up smug, then saunters into the walk in closet to get changed for their trip to japan.
honestly taehyung was excited; he can get out of mansion, visit a country he always wanted to go- those are some serious plus points, until he realizes who his companion is.
the omega dresses warm in a blue cardigan thats two shades lighter than his hair, puts on a jeans and a small bag filled with necessities including his vitamin tablets.
he had came out to see jungkook dressed in his usual black, a turtle neck this time, along with a cap and a mask.
once he was out, taehyung realised all the suitcases are taken down, but frowned upon seeing his suitcase with nesting supplies abandoned looking so lonely on the floor.
and when the alpha motions for him to hurry out, taehyung begrudgingly lifts the suitcase off the floor, attempting to drag it with him until jungkook stopped him.
"we are not taking junks with us" the alpha stated in a montone, practically wrenching the suitcase out of taehyungs hand, the black object falling to the floor with a thud.
"nuh uh i need it" taehyung nearly wails crouching to grab it, because truth be told nests are precious to omegas, their own coping mechanism. considering the circumstances, he needs that familiarity to keep himself level headed.
"-we're already late" jungkook had ignored all the protests, trying to pull up taehyung by the biceps, but the omega had all but crouched further down, giving grabby hands for his suitcase.
"dont test my patience" the warming growl had taehyung shaking because of the alphas tone,

"dont you know pregnant omegas need to nest? are you stupid?" taehyung punctuates, eyes glaring up.
and he thinks no one can blame him for being angry because from what he knows alphas will fight tooth and nail to protect their omegas nest, while he here got one mutthead who blatantly disrespects his precious nest.
before even jungkooks hand lift fully up, taehyung had flinched back on reflex, hands flying to his tummy as a tactic, hoping as usual that reminding the other of the pups will save him.
the hand indeed didn't hit him as he thought it would, instead it lifted taehyung off the floor by the neck of the cardigan and then subsequently pushed him onto the bed.
taehyung gasped at the vertigo that hit him, still trying to scramble up to sit straight. but before he can, the omega was pushed onto the bed again by his shoulder.
"jungkook d-dont hurt me-- the pups" taehyung whimpered out, trying to curl in on himself, but jungkooks strong weight on top of him left him immobile.
and before taehyung can open his mouth to protest more, jungkooks right thumb was on the plush of his lips, trying to breach in.
the unfocused eyes of the omega pleaded when he perceived the darkness of the alphas irises boring onto him. but jungkook didn't turn back until two of his fingers slipped onto taehyungs mouth, weighing down his tongue, effectively shutting up taehyungs futile protests.
and when one of jungkooks hands splayed over his stomach, every limp of him froze, because an angry alpha was a threat. even if it was supposedly his alpha, taehyungs omega quivered in fear for the pups safety.
"you know whats stupid, pup?" jungkooks voice was low and a whisper in his glazed mind. taehyung could only try to swallow his spit around jungkooks fingers.
"its thinking you can sway me with the pups you're carrying" he chuckles, dark.
then jungkooks left hand had stopped the soothing motion over the tummy, instead the fingers dug a bit too hard and taehyung thrashed panicked, lightly choking around the alphas fingers when he whined in fear.
"no one will give a fuck if i kill you right here, right now-'" jungkook croons, "i can knock up another bitch and make the pup the heir- and no one will question-"

"-not even your father" jungkook says and taehyung can see the smirk on the others face even through the tears swimming in his eyes.
taehyung had never felt so unwanted, so alone. its felt like he was fighting alone and there is nothing for him to fight for to begin with. he felt so pathetic.
"drop that act and behave" with that words jungkook pulled the fingers out, smearing the drool over taehyungs lips and trailing it down the omegas cheeks leaving a shining trail.
the tears had freely trailed down taehyungs face and he swirled his tongue inside his mouth after finally being devoid of restrictions,
and he spitted right onto jungkooks face.
jungkooks expression didn't even waver and this time when a rough hand collided with his cheek, taehyung didn't even flinch.
ten minutes later when both of them descended down the elevator, no black suitcase in sight and redness of a handprint on taehyung cheeks, indeed no one questioned,
not even seokjin who had hugged jungkook and wished him a great journey.

hoseok and yoongi was generous.
they had bought him all the things he can possibly need, a new identity in the name of christin park, an apartment already bought in a foreign country, a promise to get him into a good college to resume his studies and a generous offer to take care of oreo until jimin can find stability,
it was all too much.
possibly the best thing anyone has ever done for him.
then jimin wonders,
why was he feeling sad?
why parting feels like he is losing a bit of himself?
after giving oreo all the kisses she would need to last a month, jimin gets into the backseat with teary eyes, hoseok driving and yoongi next to him as the car moved.
at the airport, a mask on his face and bucket hat on top to cover his identity, jimin stands up as yoongi takes out the luggage.
and when the mint haired beta smiled at him and hoseok said him to 'take care' with eyes full of warmth, jimin stangely wanted to say "i dont want to go".
but he bites his lips, head hanging low as he takes the bags before turning back.
he takes about ten steps before he had to stop and furiously rub his sleeves against his eyes, because he was crying and he doesn't know why.
one deep breath and eyes looking ahead, jimin was about to take a step when a car rolled near him too close.
jimin squeaked, the startle clearing his head as he finally gathers himself and pushes forward.
over his periphery, he saw the car from before stopping meters away and then people getting out.
then jimin saw blue.
blue hair, blue outfit and a face flushed red.
"--tae" jimins lips uttered behind the mask and his grip loosened its hold on the luggage.
even if jimin can recognize taehyung anywhere, for a second he wondered if he's seeing things.
and when a tall figure pushed at taehyung, them moving together towards the vip entrance, jimins feet moved on its own accord.
"tae-" this time he uttered louder, a strange happiness filling his chest because jimin missed the other so much.
jimin was about to call louder when a hand covered his mouth from back.
he panicked even if he knew that its hoseok by the scent.
"dont" hoseok warned as he pushed the other towards the direction of their car and jimin almost thrashed. he wants to see taehyung. have to see if he's okay. he needs to tell him that he miss him.
"they think you're dead" hoseok growls and jimin stills.
oh right. he is non existent to everyone.
by the time hoseok pushed him back into the car, jimin was hyperventilating.
"why are they here? where are they going? why no one told anything?"
jimin heard yoongis distant frantic voice.
hoseok made sure no one saw them and then he saw yoongi running towards the airport discreetly, his cap placed low.
and jimin, it was like a dam broke inside him.
he crouched low onto the seat and screamed into his own hands.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
