《SECOND TRIAL | tk | ✓》13. RELIEF

they say time heals.
but it also breaks.
as seconds, minutes, hours and days went by like a flower withering away, taehyung started to break.
he doesn't really think much anymore, neither does he fight.
he became silent, the silence reflecting his own broken soul, that he is surrendering to the never ending war that his life is.
the loneliness doesn't scare him anymore, rather he is accustomed to be in bed all day- there is no shyness left in him, no more snarls, no more fights- just completely broken.
and even his own mind was starting to betray him,
because nowadays his comfort was the one who's hurting him.
along the long time confined in that one floor which held both of their scents, taehyungs omega had instinctively accepted jungkook as his alpha, his protector, the one who'll provide for him.
thus the third floor of the jeon mansion became his beautiful cage in which he is provided with everything- food, water and pain.
"you must survive-" taehyungs mind would remind. he is surviving. just broken, but still surviving.
these days he wakes up before jungkook, just to watch the alpha get ready and leave for work and every night he waits for the familiar ding of the elevator,
he doesn't care anymore if jungkook fucks him, hurts him, press a knife to his neck or kill him.
he feels so broken, he finds comfort on the hands on his skin even if they're hurting him.
maybe all along this was what jungkook wanted- to break taehyung into a perfect doll for him, no more resistance and fights- just a perfect omega ready to serve his alpha.
its been months since the start of the contract and finally jungkook succeeded in it or taehyung just succumbed to it.
so every day now jungkook comes home to eager eyes waiting for him either on the bed or in the living room, those eyes no more has any hatred instead holds relief,

a relief from the day long silence and loneliness surrounding the omega.
jungkook wasn't gentle, he never was, manipulating people was the one thing jeons were always good at, it was like a sport to jungkook.
once that tough exterior had fully corroded, taehyung was nothing but an eager little thing for his alpha.
he would even doll up for him these days, venturing into the unopened drawers to wear lingerie hidden under pretty robes, a bit of color on those plump lips- yearning for a compliment or a soft touch.
taehyung would clasp his hands together in the front, smiling prettily even if his eyes looked dead- waiting for the alpha to hold him or lift him or hurt him- any feeling other than solitude was welcomed.
and jungkook was always angry and stressed, it added by the numerous negative pregnancy tests on the trash can, fueled more by the mocking calls from kim and the slightly disappointed looks from his hyung.
"is it that hard to knock up an omega?"
"maybe sir. young jeon was the one who needed a doctors appointment"
more silent whispers and snickers behind his back,
and jungkook was angry.
so according to his temper did the nights went by.
somedays it would be quick fuck. but on days he is riled up, jungkook will go slow and hurtful- have the omega pressed against the wall, table or in shower.
there was never an utter of complaint, taehyung would take it all with gasps and whines like a perfect omega.
besides, he was much plump now, his thighs and ass much fuller and would carry the alphas hand prints for days.
with the lack of shyness, taehyung was more daring now, hands chasing after the alpha when he'd leave him covered in slick and cum, trembling and shaking,
"p-please stay-" his legs would wrap around the alphas waist pulling him closer and he would bury his face into the alphas neck as he would sigh feeling content in his nest with his alpha.

and jungkook would stay long enough to run his eyes through taehyung- from his glassy eyes, to the parted lips, his chest heaving with breaths and thick thighs shiny with slick.
minutes later he would pry himself away though, not faced by the pathetic whines the omega would let out.
and the next morning he would take out another pack of pregnancy tests and its the wait, his omega always giddy and excited everytime, only to have a breakdown when it comes out negative.
and jungkook would be furious,
"fucking useless" the alpha would snarl with a hand around the omegas neck, then growling in annoyance as he would storm out of the room.
this was his usual mornings, which would then lead to an entirety of lonely hours.
that day was no different.
taehyung was wearing one of jungkooks tshirt that he again stole from the alphas cupboard, it pooling around till mid thighs, the omegas face puffy from crying, lips in a pout as he stared out of the window.
what broke the silence this time was the familiar ding of the elevator again.
taehyungs face had quickly jolted towards the door, confused on if jungkook came back really early today.
but the omega tensed, when the sound that resonated through the hallway was multiple boot clacks.
taehyung felt fear as he drew his knees closer and stared wide eyed at the door as multiple shadows came closer.
"mr. jeon taehyung?" a voice had called from the other side of the door but taehyung didn't respond, gripping his own kness until knuckles turned white.
then the door had opened and the figures that entered had shocked taehyung.
they were police officers.
"we've got a complaint that you're forced to stay here without your consent-" one of the officers started, his voice calm and eyes assessing.
taehyung didn't reply, instead took in shuddering breaths, brain trying to catch up with thoughts.
police officers in a mafia mansion?
"are you-- alright, mr. taehyung?" one of the officers asked seeing the frantic state of the omega and taehyung merely nodded.
"could you come to the station now?" the officer asked calculatively and taehyung nodded again.
the officers waited outside repectfully, giving taehyung time to change his attire and taehyung was shaking inside, scared that what if jeon mafia members come and shoot everyone down, but nothing happened.
taehyung doesn't had any respectful dress to wear, so he took out one of jungkooks own sweat pants with drawstrings, wearing it with shaking hands and a muddled brain.
none of the officers commented on taehyungs choice of dress as they made the way down by the elevator.
on the lower floor, he saw hoseok and yoongi standing by the walls, eyes angry and glaring, but none of them protested as the officers guided him outside.
the corridors which are usually filled with jeon thugs were empty today, neither were there any guards outside.
as taehyung got in the police car, toes anxiously wiggling in the fluffy home slippers he was wearing, he realized he was outside,
outside for the first time since his marriage.
taehyung still felt oddly disconnected from himself, face almost squished at the window as he looked out in awe,
like a bird being let out of its cage for the first time.
and soon after the short ride, the car was stopping outside seoul police station.
taehyung took small steps after the officers, feeling anxious around in public after spending his days alone.
and just as he got in through the automatic doors, a form came tackling into him, taehyung letting out a startled yelp at it.
but that scent was familiar, comforting.
"chim-" the sob escaped out of taehyung, though this time not because of pain, but of pure relief.
