jimin has been staring at the name card for probably hours now.
he kept on twirling it between his ring clad fingers, watching the way the name "min yoongi" in silver turned with it, while his other hand absent-mindedly petted oreo.
and atlast with one breath, jimin clicked the green button on his phone screen, the omegas heart practically in his throat as it started ringing.
it only took probably four rings and the call got picked up, followed by a deep voice saying "hello?"
"Yoongi-ssi, its me jimin. um me met o-outside jeon-"
"i remember you jimin." yoongi's voice cut jimins ranting.
"ah-" jimins heart was almost beating out off his chest,
"i never got a call from you- about getting to meet jeon jungkook, um i was wondering--"
"you see jimin-ssi. sir jeon is a very busy man." yoongi's voice cut him again.
"oh-" the omegas voice dropped.
"-can i meet kim taehyung then?" his voice was hopeful.
"jimin-ssi, sir jeon and his husband are newly weds and i've heard they're not allowing visitors anytime soon." yoongi sounded partially annoyed.
"b-but i'm his best friend-"
"park jimin. listen carefully now" yoongi's voice was a growl.
"stay away from whatever you're trying to do- this is no place for pretty omegas like you. take this as a warning."
and the call ended.

the next day taehyung had woken upto every limbs of him aching.
he groaned, hissing at the pain on his lower back and grimacing at the dried up slick and cum all over his body.
"forget aftercare. his husband didn't even bother to atleast wipe him off. great." taehyung thought.
thankfully he was alone, and with a loads of cursing and knees buckling multiple times, the omega managed to reach the bathroom and take one long shower.
then later throwing away the dirty sheets, he took out the laptop he got and placed an order for some numbing cream, other ointments for his foot and after a lot of thought some pregnancy test kits, then made himself a small breakfast of bread and scrambled eggs.

the day went by numb as usual- he stared out at the city ahead through the window watching the rain pitter pattering against it, cried silently on one corner and later dozzing off.
at one point he woke up almost hysterical, sobbing out not being able to find anything comforting, not even a scent he can trust and ended up hugging all the pillows he can get, just pretending that its something living that cares for him.
thats how exactly jungkook had found him later that evening- the omega curled up on the mess of a bed, looking so wrecked and broken,
the alpha tsked disapprovingly.
"cant even tend to his alpha or atleast look good for him. fucking kim gave me a nutjob of an omega" he muttered under his breath as went towards the closet.
just as taehyung was sitting up somewhat groggy, a purplish black satin robe was thrown onto his face.
"we are having dinner downstairs" was all the alpha said,
yes ofcourse, taehyung should dress to his part of being a good bitch.
this time taehyung didn't had the energy to even protest or make a snarky remark and possibly getting out off this floor sounded a bit freeing.
so as the alpha took his routine shower, taehyung stripped out of his pajamas and wore the robe that reached till his knee, then wiped his face and combed his hair to free the knots.
still the alpha looked disapprovingly at taehyung, but the omega doesn't care and just like that both were descending down the elevator.
"you better behave down there" jungkook nearly growled to taehyungs face as he got out of the elevator.
the dinner, turned out to be not just sitting down and eating.
the hall had many people, too many of the jeons, all of them giving taehyung dirty looks or checking him out, even when they have omegas in barely any clothing on their laps, taehyung almost unconsciously walking closer to jungkook at it.
when jungkook sat on one of the long tables, the one occupied by seokjin at the head, the omega started walking to sit on the chair adjacent to jungkooks but a hand rough on him pulled taehyung to jungkooks lap.

taehyung had to bite down on his tongue not to curse out at jungkook.
the jeons talked about business, about riots and guns and murders- taehyung would shiver when any of then go into details, disgusted and almost scared that people could be so cruel.
and to much of taehyungs displeasure, jungkook wont stop touching and caressing him, even after multiple times the omega had discreetly knocked away the said hand, the alpha then would grope at his still sore thighs almost warningly or possessively, taehyung doesn't know.
and even when the food arrived, taehyung had no luck. it wasn't like the dinner was meant for any omegas on the room.
as the alphas feasted, taehyung was left to nibble on some salads and a piece of chicken he stole from jungkooks plate, swallowing down forcefully everytime the alphas hands would wander under the robe and skim over his boxer shorts.
jungkook was really knocking away each block of taehyungs patience.
and as the food was cleared came the casual conversations, seokjin silently watching over everything with tentative sips of his wine.
"gotta say sir. young jeon, you got yourselves one pretty bitch" a burly man had said giving one dirty look taehyungs way.
"are the kims any good in bed, sir?" came another voice, everyone hollering at the question, anger boiling inside taehyung at everything.
"i have had better" jungkook said over a smirk and the laughter continued, taehyung visibly sneering at it.
"bet that pretty lips could do wonders though" the comments went on, them never ignoring a chance to insult a kim in their lair.
"he would never know, 'cause i will be biting off his knot if he ever tried" taehyung didn't hold back as he spitted out, some snickering and others almost horrifiedly looking at the omega,
and jungkooks hand on his thighs tightened bruisingly and something in told taehyung, he is going to regret saying it.
taehyung hadn't have to wait long to find out, for jungkook had stood up, calmly excusing himself with one nod seokjins way,
with a hand firm on taehyungs shoulder, the alpha guided him towards the elevator,
"you think he's gonna kill the bitch?" taehyung heard low murmurings from the hall.
"no. probably something worse." was the reply.
the ride up back to their floor was eerily calm, jungkook looking composed as he always is.
"you never listen dont you?" jungkook had a dangerous smile on his face, when they entered the bedroom.
taehyung now just standing, looking down on the floor, truthfully scared, didn't dare talk back.
"dont have any more snarky remarks, taehyung-ssi?" jungkook mocked as he circled around taehyung. even the alphas footsteps felt oddly scary this time.
but when a hand sneaked up his waist, he wriggled away with a hiss, glaring at jungkook.
"i was too lenient, wasn't i?" jungkook took steps closer.
"i should've really treated you like the little bitch you are, instead of giving you all the freedom here- i shouldn't have gone so-- easy on you right?" jungkook cocked his head as his hand gripped onto taehyungs dark hair before the omega can even protest.
"i will explain it to you, taehyung-ssi" jungkooks face ghosted over taehyung who was hissing and trying to loosen the painful grip on his hair.
"just have to add some more rules- " his other hand dripped taehyungs jaw and pushed him to the bed, taehyung scrambling back, shaking, and eyes wide.
jungkooks angry scents were almost suffocating, taehyungs inferior omega side shaking and curling in within at it.
"alpha will show you how we treat our bitches here-" jungkook smiled sickly as his one hand went to his pockets and fumbled something out,
and the scared whimper tore out of taehyung on its own.
jungkook twirled the knife- it too sharp, its glint obscured by the few dried up blood splatters on it and taehyung backed away further on the bed, shaking his head, pupils blown wide and pleading.
"let's begin now then, shall we?"

Chapters 1-3 1st pass edit 2020-07-23 8PM MST.(The First Paragraph, (edited 2020-07-23)): My name is James Erikson. I am a 22 year old, Physics, Electrical Engineering double major at Stanford in my senior year. It had been a long day prepping for semester finals, I needed a good hot shower. I was on the way back to my dorm from the Green Library having returned some books on Quantum Mechanics, the Interaction of the Strong and Weak Nuclear forces under the influence of Strong Gravitational fields, and a book on the history of modern electronics. It was about 8:45 PM on Monday, November 15th, 2021, and I was getting ready to cross Campus Drive near the Student Services center, when unexpectedly, Lisa, my younger brothers girlfriend called out to me. I turned towards her, twisting my ankle in the process, and started to fall. I am looking at her face, I can see her eyes widening in shock in the street-lamps glow. I can see her start to scream the word “NO” when I am suddenly plunged into utmost blackness.

Necromancer's Resolve
Foster Locke's life wasn't the harshest it could have been. But it wasn't the easiest either. Despite losing the last of his family and having immense debt thrown on him, getting the chance to keep practicing Martial Arts pulled away, and having a completely messed up sleep-schedule, he usually tried his best to stay positive to the outside world. Of course, that wasn't always possible, especially not when he was staring into the glowing eyes of a man-eating creature he had never heard of before. The glowing message-box that accompanied it wasn't much better either. Not to mention the fact that he was suddenly in a dark forest instead of the train station. This isn't a story of great anguish, inescapable peril, or heroic world-saving. Rather, it's one of a young man trying to get by in a world that seems to try his best to kill him. I hope you enjoy the read. --- Cover Image temporary [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
