《Myungjin - I Fell For You~》[Chapter 13 - Remember Me]

"Good Morning," Jinwoo said with a small smile as he made his way towards Myungjun.
"Ah...Good morning."
Myungjun clung to the bedsheets that covered him as his eyes followed the younger.
"Uh, sorry I wasn't supposed to stay the night and I-"
He was cut off by Jinwoo who sat down next to him.
"It's okay. I don't mind."
Myungjun lets out a smile as he studies Jinwoo's face.
"You mean you don't mind? You liked sleeping next to me?"
"Uh. That's not really what I mean-"
Without any warning, Myungjun pulls in Jinwoo towards him, catching the younger by surprise.
Not being able to react quick enough, Jinwoo found himself on top of the elder.
In shock, he looked at the eyes of Myungjun staring back at him. Unable to to move or utter a word, Jinwoo's body froze at the abrupt contact.
The elder pushed Jinwoo aside, making his back pressed against the bed. His hands tightly gripped above his head by Myungjun.
Staring into Jinwoo's eyes, Myungjun let out a smirk.
"Since I'm finally alone with you, why don't we...," Myungjun's voice trailed off as he leaned in and...
kissed Jinwoo's lips.
The elder's lips tugged at Jinwoo's as he continued to kiss him with no hesitation.
Jinwoo, still having his arms and body pinned against the bed, he felt the roughness of the kiss as his stomach tightened at the overwhelming feeling.
After a few seconds, Myungjun pulled out, a red tint on his cheek being obviously visible.
They just stared at each other in silence. Unable to utter a word.
Jinwoo's eyes wide in shock. He felt his body all heated up and a trickle of sweat down his face.
Then with a jolt, he sat up.
It was suddenly dark. The blinds were closed. The only distinct sounds he could hear was the hum of the room's air conditioner and his panting.
It was a dream. Myungjun didn't kiss him. It was a dream...again.
Jinwoo wiped his sweat with his hands and suddenly he froze.
Slowly turning to the other side of the bed, he heard faint breathing from under the blanket.
Was he dreaming again? His hands were shaking as he carefully uncovered the blanket to reveal the other male sleeping soundly.
Jinwoo tried not to freak out. Just to check, he pinched himself to make sure he wasn't sleeping. This time it was reality.

He slowly laid down, staring at the ceiling. He could feel a headache growing, making him sigh.
Not knowing when he fell asleep in his thoughts.
With the ringing of his phone, Jinwoo woke up. It was Secretary Lee. Before he answered it, he looked the other side of the bed. It was empty. Myungjun wasn't there anymore.
Something in his heart sank. He knew he couldn't deny to himself anymore. Jinwoo knew too well that. He had feelings for Myungjun.
As per usual, Secretary Lee came to his room and discussed the agenda for the day. He had free time from after lunch so he wanted to go out and check out the city.
The two headed off to the breakfast hall and began to get their plates for the buffet.
Jinwoo's eyes searched for Myungjun and he finally spotted him sitting in a corner table with a plate of a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of fruit salad and orange juice. He saw that the elder was busy concentrating on his tablet, drawing something.
Once Jinwoo got his food, Secretary Lee ushered him to a set when he stopped him.
"You take a seat with the Managers. I'm going to sit with him," Jinwoo pointed at Myungjun and made his way over before Secretary could ask why.
Jinwoo ate breakfast with the elder, acting as if nothing happened. He concealed his feelings well but his heart still didn't stop fluttering everytime they made eye contact.
The two had no schedules in the evening so they agreed to going out at night to sightsee before their return back home.
The night air breeze felt cool on their cheeks. Refreshing to say the least as it was an escape from the artificial air conditioning they were always under.
From eating street food to buying some obvious tourist souvenirs, they both had a great time. Like long time friends who were on vacation.
At one of the streets, Myungjun realised there was a little photo booth so he suggested to take some photos as a reminder of their time together.
Making silly poses here and there, the two couldn't help but laugh at their childish behaviour.
Picking up the pictures from the slot, both of them placed it in their wallets.
Eventually it got late and they were on their way back to the hotel.

"I actually had a great time," Jinwoo said with a smile on his face.
"Of course you did. It's all because I was your company," the elder scoffed, making the two burst out in laughter.
Jinwoo heard a skid of a car so he turned around to see while Myungjun was busy talking about how they should eat ice cream after dinner.
As the younger turned around, he saw a white car come up onto the walking path, speeding towards them.
A loud thump followed after the crash of glass...
Myungjun groaned out in pain as he rubbed his arm. Looking up at what happened, his eyes turned to horror.
"JINWOO? FUCK! JINWOO!!"
Jinwoo's body flung in front of the car, as his clothes were bloodied and covered in glass from the car windscreen.
People began to gather at the scene.
Myungjun rushed to Jinwoo. His lifeless body, bleeding away.
After the elder came to his senses, he called Secretary Lee and soon enough, the two were on their way to the hospital.
Myungjun cried as he held onto the younger's cold hand.
"Why did you push me away! You got hurt by saving me!! WHY?!"
The nurse onboard the vehicle calmed him down a bit as they arrived at the Emergency Sector.
The night felt the longest one that Myungjun had ever encountered.
His arm bandaged as he waited in front of the hospital's glass doors.
He eventually cried himself to sleep.
The next morning, Myungjun was woken up by Secretary Lee who asked him to come and check up on Jinwoo.
Jinwoo laid in his hospital bed. His body was unconscious but he was breathing.
The doctor came up to the two men and told them that Jinwoo had multiple head and abdominal injuries.
The surgery went well but no one knows when he would wake up from his coma.
After a week, Jinwoo was brought back home privately and continued his treatment there.
Everyday, Myungjun would visit Jinwoo. Tell him about his day and how much he missed him.
He kept it up for for 8 months.
One day, he finished work when he got a call from Secretary Lee.
Myungjun rushed to the hospital with tears streaming down his eyes.
Inside the room, Jinwoo was in bed. Awake.
The elder ran towards him and kneeled beside his bed.
"YOU FINALLY WOKE UP! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME ALONE FOR SO LONG?!" he sobbed.
A moment of silence passed when he wiped his tears to see clearly.
Jinwoo looked blankly at him. His face confused and awkward.
The doctor sighed and looked towards the floor. He then spoke,
"Myungjun, I have some bad news."
Myungjun looked in confusion. His tears continued rolling down his cheek.
"Myungjun. This isn't Jinwoo."
"What? What are you on about Doctor?!"
"Myungjun, Jinwoo passed away 8 months ago after he arrived here. His head injuries were too severe. I'm sorry for your loss. However, you need to stop coming to the hospital everyday to this room. Jinwoo is no longer here with us."
Myungjun shook his head aggressively.
"NO! YOU'RE LYING. YOU'RE FUCKING LYING! JINWOO ISN'T DEAD!"
With that being said, he was carried away by security as the male thrashed around.
Myungjun was later diagnosed with Schizophrenia. It is a chronic and severe mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with schizophrenia may seem like they have lost touch with reality. *
Hallucinating fake calls saying Jinwoo has recovered haunted him often. That's why he always rushed to the hospital to see him.
Now he remains in a mental asylum where he mutters to himself about how he will meet Jinwoo soon. How they'll take pictures at a photo booth again, eat ice cream and then
fall in love...
