《Myungjin - I Fell For You~》[Chapter 11 - Don't Worry]

The next day at work went smoothly for Myungjun.
His manager, Sanha, had assigned him the role of designing a couple of billboards that were to be publicised in the central hub of Singapore.
With his first piece of work assigned, Myungjun diligently started planning and sketching his ideas for the billboards. He wanted to make a good impression, not just for himself but for the company and mainly for his CEO, Jinwoo.
It was eventually lunchtime so both Minhyuk and Myungjun headed to a nice window seat to eat at the company cafeteria.
"So Minhyuk, are you going to the overseas business trip tomorrow?", Myungjun asked out of curiosity.
"Unfortunately no. Apparently, they already confirmed the staff who were selected to go. Oh well, I'm not playing much of a role in this campaign. I've been appointed to local one."
"Oh."
"Yeah. But It's all good though. Less pressure on me I guess. How about you though? You'll be a major part of the big campaign. Are you going?"
"Uh yes, they asked me to come. It will apparently help me with my role."
"It sure will. I'm sure you'll love it. Since it's a business trip, the best parts are travelling in business class, staying at highly rated hotels and eating good food. Even better than the cafeteria here!"
"Oh really? Have you been on a previous overseas business trip before?"
"Yeah, It was great. I went about two years ago and it was to Paris. Was a beautiful trip. Apart from the lectures and workshops, it seriously felt like a holiday trip."
Myungjun smiled at the positive response of this company's overseas business trip but something kept scratching at the back of his mind.
"Um. How was the flight? Well, I have never flown anywhere so I'm a bit nervous. Well more like scared as hell."
"Oh really? First time? Oh, don't worry about it. You'll be fine. You won't even remember your worries with all the free food, videos, and views. And if you don't feel too good, there are sick bags in front of your chair along with toilets so you can relieve yourself."
"Thanks."
"No problem."
When Myungjun arrived home after work, he realised he received a email from Jinwoo.
(1) Inbox
Hey Myungjun, just letting you know to bring about three days worth of clothes, including formal and sleepwear.
Oh and if you have motion sickness then I suggest you bring along some of that medication.
Make sure to arrive at the airport at 11am because our flight is at 1pm and we need to board all the staff members together for safety.
Feel free to bring your electronic device that you can use for working on the campaign and for notes.
That is all. Have a decent breakfast and will see you soon :)
Kind regards,
Cristal Corporation
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Park Jinwoo
Myungjun replied back a thank and began to pack for tomorrow.
Three clothes to wear outside? "Check!"
Two formal suits? "Check!"
Three sleepwear clothing? "Check!"

A phone call interuptted Myungjun's packing. He went over to his phone that was charging on the kitchen bench and saw that it was an unknown number.
Usually he wouldn't pick up calls like that but for some reason he decided to.
"Hello?"
"..."
"Hello? Who's calling?"
"You think you're so clever, huh?"

"Uh excuse me? Who is this?!"
"I'm watching you, you sly bastard."
"Hey wha-"
The unknown called cut off the call leaving Myungjun in confusion. The voice was of a man who's words dripped with hatred as he spoke.
"What the hell? They must have the wrong number," Myungjun thought to himself as he placed his phone back to charge.
"A sly bastard, huh? Me? For what?" the elder talked to himself, clearly being annoyed and rather angry at that absurd phone call.
However, time stopped for no one so he got back to packing his carry on luggage for the business trip.
Once all was packed and organised, he ordered some take-out for dinner and slumped into bed.
As he placed an alarm for tomorrow, the thought of any possible enemies were questioned in his head.
Myungjun didn't have many friends, let alone any enemies. With no clue of who that caller could be, Myungjun cuddled up to his pillow and fell asleep in exhaustion of the busy day he had today.
----------------------------------------
It was the day of the business trip and Jinwoo was up early and making some calls with their Singaporean associates.
"Yes. Our flight arrives at 7pm, if there's delay then the timing will differ. Ah of course. No problem at all. My staff and I will see you tomorrow at the business gathering. Thank you and you too take care."
"That's all the calls done for this morning Sir," Secretary Lee said as he took the business phone and placed it in his pocket.
"Good. I'm sick of phone calls so early in the morning! It pisses me off," Jinwoo said in an annoying tone as he loosened his tie a little.
"Sorry about the inconvenience Sir but these phone calls are vital in order to keep our good business relationship with those Singaporean Partners."
Jinwoo sighed as he knew that what Lee was saying was all true.
"Can you stop being so reasonable Lee? It pisses me off too," Jinwoo jokingly said.
"Sorry Sir but I just can't help it", Secretary Lee replied with a slight laugh.
Soon enough it was time to head to the airport.
As the chauffeur drove, Jinwoo looked out of the window where there were only buildings and cars visible.
He wondered if this will be how he'll live life. Being busy with work and having no time to himself. He barely had the time to open or use things that he would have bought.
His thoughts were interuppted by a text message that he received on his phone.
It was from Myungjun.
(1) New Text Message/s
Good morning, boss. Just messaged to say I'm on my way to the airport. See you then :)
Having read that made Jinwoo unconsciously smile. He replied back to the elder and decided to listen to some music with his Bluetooth earphones that he'd always bring.
Soon enough, all of the attending staff arrived at the airport by 11:05am.
"Good to have you all here on time. Let's make this trip worthwhile and useful to your tasks for our upcoming campaign," Jinwoo addressed the staff before Secretary Lee went explained the rules and regualtions that needed to be followed.
Jinwoo, Secretary Lee and what looked like another manager made their way first through Business class check-in.
Myungjun didn't know anyone in the group staff who were going on the trip. He decided to just follow everyone else and waited in line to be check-in his flight ticket.

His anxiety however started to overwhelm him. What if something bad happens on the flight? What if he get sick on board and embarasses himself? What if-. Myungjun was jolted back to reality when he realised a someone was asking him a question.
"Ah, Myungjun? Excuse me?"
"Oh I'm so sorry. I was lost in my thoughts for a second," Myungjun apolegetically said.
"Oh, okay. Well I'm Secretary Lee and I was told that this is your first time flying?"
"Yes, i-it is."
"Alright. If you have any problems or questions about the flight then please let me know as it is part of my duty to make sure there aren't any discomfort for the staff."
"Thank you. I really appreciate it," Myungjun said with a somewhat relieved smile as if the Secretary had read his thoughts.
Fortunately, all staff members managed to board the flight on time. As each staff made their way to their Business Class seats, chatting away in delight, Myungjun went to place his carry-on luggage in the overhead lockers when he was tapped on the shoulder by someone.
He turned around to see that it was that manager that was walking with Jinwoo and Secretary Lee before at the airport.
"Yes?" Myungjun asked in confusion.
"Your seat position has been changed. You now sit in seat number B4."
"Pardon? But my ticket-"
"Please abide the insrtuctions given or you will hold up other passengers who are trying to get to their seat,' the manager said in a stern voice.
Myungjun looked at the guy one more time before he carried his luggage to his 'new' seat. From the corner of his eyes, he saw that the guy seated himself down in that seat that Myungjun was kicked out of.
"B4? What was wrong with me sitting in my original seat? Why did he sit in my seat?" Myungjun muttered under his breath.
Once he arrived to 8A, in an annoyed manner, Myungjun put up his luggage in the locker above.
When his eyes went to the seat, he realised someone was already sitting next to it.
"Jinw-. Ah Boss? Why are you sitting next to my seat?"
"Don't you want me to sit here?"
"N-no, that's not what I meant. Why am I seated next to you? Shouldn't your Secretary or a Manager sit there?"
"Sit down first. The plane will lift-off so we need to wear our seatbelts."
"Oh, okay"
Myungjun sat down in the spacious seat and tried to put on the seatbelt. After a couple of tries, he was able to figure out how to adjust the size of the seatbelt.
"So, I was originally seated next to Manager B but I requested him to swap seats with you. I did mention that I will help you out on your first flight."
"Oh. I don't think Manager B likes me. He seemed angry about the seat change I guess."
"Oh don't worry about it. He was gonna bombard me with more talk about work. I just want to relax right now."
The safety procedure video then started to play on all the screens.
Jinwoo looked to see Myungjun concentrating on the video as if his life depended on it.
"It'll be okay," Jinwoo said to the elder with a cordial smile hoping that Myungjun would stop worrying.
The elder replied back with a smile but he knew too well that he was thinking of every worst case scenario that could happen on the flight.
All their attention then went to the voice that was played from the plane's speakers.
"Good afternoon passengers. This is your Captain speaking. I'd like to welcome everyone aboard on Flight SQ216 from Incheon to Changi Airport. The estimated time of arrival is at 08.45 pm local time. The weather in our route consists of little rain therfore mild turbulences may occur. We encourage you to have your seatbelts fastened when seated. The 'fasten seatbelts' sign will be illuminated during turbulence so passengers are advised to return to their seats for their safety. We wish you a pleasant flight and hope to see you again soon. On behalf of all our crew, thank you for choosing to fly with us today."
Once the other announcements were made, the plane left its bay and began to commence its take-off.
"Cabin crew, prepare for take-off," the last announcement played from the speaker before the plane came to its runway.
Myungjun was seated next to the window seat on his left. His eyes glued to what was happening outside. Slowly the plane started picking up its pace.
His hands were in tight fists, as if his body was bracing for impact.
The speed kept increasing. The lines on the runway became blurred due to how fast the vehicle was running at.
Myungjun's heartbeat pounded away in his chest as if it rip out any second.
The force was getting stronger. The sound of the engine grew in volume.
This was too frightening. Myungjun wished he was back home, safe. He wishe-.
The elder's thoughts were interuppted by a hand on his.
Jinwoo's hand.
Jinwoo had his hand holding onto Myungjun's.
The elder turned to him to see Jinwoo mouth the words 'We will be fine'.
Myungjun looked down at his hand loosen due to Jinwoo's contact.
Before he knew it, the plane's wheels lifted off the runway, the plane going into the state of being airborne.
The elder looked out of the window to see the ground drifting further and further away.
Everything appeared smaller. The cars on the highway appeared like ants.
Houses looked like small blocks until they were no longer visible.
The ocean surrounded the land and it all felt so unreal.
Once the plane was above the cotton ball-like clouds, Myungjun realised that he forget about how scared he was.
The beautiful view from above made him fall in a trance.
It was just, breathtaking.
"I never knew...it was this beautiful," he said to Jinwoo as he turned around to face him.
"Yes it really is. No matter how good a camera is, it would never capture the magical moment of the real thing."
"I agree."
"Oh, just you wait. If you thought take-off in daylight was beautiful, then wait till you see how amazing landing is like at night."
