《Myungjin - I Fell For You~》[Chapter 9 - Special]

"This is Kim Myungjun, our new Graphic Designer that will be in charge of our new charity campaign", Sanha said snapping both Myungjun and Jinwoo back from their thoughts.
"H-hello Sir. I plan to work well at this n-new job", the elder stuttered as he looked at Jinwoo nervously.
"Myungjun's a little nervous I guess. It's okay. I was like that too on my first day", Sanha said as he handed Jinwoo a USB containing some work.
After accepting from Sanha, Jinwoo smiled at Myungjun even though he had a lot of explaining to do later. By the looks of their situation right now, it was best to act like they met for the first time in front of Sanha just like how Myungjun introduced himself.
"Welcome to Crystal Corporation Myungjun."
"I'm Mr. Park Jinwoo, the CEO and I hope you enjoy working with us. Congratulations again on acquiring this great job opportunity".
Both Sanha and Myungjun bowed to their CEO before they left his office.
"He's a great guy you know. Even helped me with my family once," Sanha said proudly.
"How did he help your family?", Myungjun then asked out of curiosity.
"Well, my father had gotten into an accident so, apart from him, I'm the only one who earned money. When he overheard me talking about it with a staff, he asked me to his office. I was surprised to know that he was willing to pay for my father's hospital fees if I organised this expensive car to be shipped to his house."
"Expensive car?"
"Yeah. It was a green Lamborghini too."
"Lamborghini?!"
"I know. Imagine being that rich. Its price was about over $400k with all the customised accessories that he wanted."
Myungjun's eyes were wide with what he just heard. He recalled back to complimenting Jinwoo before about his Audi car. That was nothing compared to a Lambo.
"So. Is your father okay now?", he asked sincerely.
"Thanks to Mr. Park, he's up and well."
The two were eventually at Myungjun's new work desk.
"This is your workspace! Feel free to ask any of the other workers who are in this section."
Sanha then called over a member of this section and introduced him.
"Myungjun, this is Minhyuk. He's one our of great digital artists."
"Nice to meet you", Minhyuk politely said as he reached his hand out for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too", Myungjun replied as they shook hands.
After a few minutes, Myungjun was left alone at his desk where he placed down his briefcase.
He sighed to himself, hoping that this would be a better opportunity for his skills to be recognised. Not altered and worn out like his previous job.
Myungjun had set up his desk and made a few notes on some items to buy for work. After reading through the campaign proposal that was given by Sanha earlier on, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
He turned around to see a familiar face smiling at him.
"So uh. It's time for our lunch break. Why don't you join me?", Minhyuk asked with a bright smile.
"Oh. Lunch already? But sure I'd love to", the elder replied back with a smile as well.
The two made their way down the elevator and to the third floor of the building, aka the floor consisting of the cafeteria.
"There's a cafeteria here?!", Myungjun exclaimed at the generous size of the setting.
"Yeah. And the food is great too. If I could, I would spent most of my hours up here", Minhyuk joked as they walked up to the menu list.
"There are no prices on the menu?", Myungjun said with a confused expression.
"Ah that's because it's all paid for from your salary. Every year a small amount of money is deducted from your pay so you don't need to pay every time you order."
"Oh."
"Yeah. It's better food for a cheaper price compared to eating out", Minhyuk stated as he read the menu.
After they both chose a dish from the cafeteria, Minhyuk ushered Myungjun to sit down at a window seat to eat.
They enjoyed their lunch and shared a good conversation. Once they were finished, the two headed back to their desks to continue their work.
Myungjun decided to go to the men's bathroom before he returned to his desk. As he walked in, a minty scent welcomed him. The walls were of grey stone with a slightly dimmed lighting.
There appeared to be many stalls along with a number of sinks and dispensers.
Myungjun walked up to a corner urinal, unzipped his fly and let the stream flow down with precision.
While he was at it, a figure came to the urinal right next to him despite there being plenty of other vacant ones.

Myungjun snuck a look to his left to see who it was. The second he looked, he made contact with the male.
It was his CEO.
It was Jinwoo.
Myungjun's eyes diverted back to the wall in front of him but it was too late.
"Myungjun...", Jinwoo finally said, breaking the awkward silence that lingered in the air.
"Please see me in my office after work. I need to talk to you", a quiet deep voice spoke.
"Did I do something wrong?", the elder said sarcastically whilst avoiding the younger's gaze.
"You know what I mean. Let me explain myself. It's not what you think", Jinwoo replied back, his volume a little higher than before.
"Whatever you say boss", Myungjun said before he finished his business, washed his hands and left the bathroom.
Myungjun believed that Jinwoo just gave him the job in the company because he pitied him. Not because of his talents or skills. The elder also believed that Jinwoo must have exploited his position to persuade the other staff to land him a job.
Brushing those thoughts away, Myungjun headed back to his work desk leaving a Jinwoo to sigh to himself as he too returned to his office.
Sooner than desired, the end of the working day approached causing Myungjun to curse in his head about having to meet Jinwoo in his office.
Eventually, Myungjun said bye to his new colleagues and dragged himself to Jinwoo's office.
He stopped for a brief second before knocking on the door.
"Come in!", a voice echoed in the office. A voice belonging to none other than Jinwoo.
"Take a seat", Jinwoo ushered the elder as he walked out from behind the desk. He walked up to the office door and closed it, making sure no one is able to enter for that period of time.
Myungjun shuffled in his seat and he impatiently waited for his 'boss'.
Jinwoo eventually sat down in the chair next to Myungjun, placing it so he faced him.
"Look. Before you say anything, let me explain what the situation is. Okay?", Jinwoo asked as he had his hands clasped together.
"Fine", Myungjun replied, as he waited for Jinwoo to speak.
"Okay so, about you getting the job, I only organised you attend the hiring. As for the decision of choosing you was not taken action to with my power. I-"
"But what about the other Graphic Designers?", Myungjun interrupted.
"Can you let me finish?", Jinwoo replied back with an annoyed tone.
"Sorry"
"Okay. And I promise you that I only said that maybe we should employ a Graphic Designer who's ideas are fresh and creative. Unlike the usual designers whose work is more mainstream. Nothing else that would be biased to you as a person".
Once Jinwoo finished, he looked up at Myungjun to see him sit there with a blank expression on his face.
"So...you didn't speak highly of me to the staff then?"
"No"
"What about exaggerating about how amazing of an employee I am?"
"Myungjun"
"Okay okay. Maybe I misunderstood this situation"
"You don't say", Jinwoo sarcastically said back.
Eventually, Myungjun realised that he did in fact, completely misunderstood the situation.
"Sorry Jinwoo...I mean 'boss'. I guess I thought myself to be special when I obviously wasn't", Myungjun said with a chuckle.
"But you are special."
The elder looked up to see that familiar smile on Jinwoo's face. He too smiled back at his words before Jinwoo spoke again.
"But yeah, I do apologise for concealing my CEO position. I guess I just didn't want you to act different around me when we are off work. For example now, I'm no longer your boss. Just Jinwoo".
Myungjun nodded and let out a soft "okay" indicating that he understood Jinwoo.
"Well then, just Jinwoo, why don't you show me your green Lambo since I'm your friend?", Myungjun cockily asked, winking at the word 'friend'.
A chuckle escaped Jinwoo's lips as he grabbed his blazer from a nearby coat rack.
"Looks like you're coming over then".
