《Myungjin - I Fell For You~》[Chapter 5 - It's a Date]

Myungjun made his way to the chair that was for the interviewees, and sat down with his briefcase. He saw the staff who were going to interview him and tried to calm himself from his heart rapidly beating due to his nervousness.
He needed this job desperately. Myungjun was confident in his work and just hoped he was good enough to be hired.
While the staff had begun to interview Myungjun, Jinwoo stood outside the interviewing room, with a worried expression on his face.
He genuinely wanted Myungjun to get the job but the second interviewee appeared to be very impressive. Jinwoo hadn't seen Myungjun's skills yet and to be very honest, he was rather nervous for him. Yes, they had only met like two days ago but something made Jinwoo feel attached to him.
After what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes, the door of the interviewing room seemed to open. Jinwoo then moved away from the room, waiting for Myungjun to leave. The interviewing staff thanked Myungjun for coming and told him to go to the front desk. Jinwoo took this chance to re-enter the meeting room without being seen by him.
He didn't want Myungjun to be nervous when he was giving his interview so that's why he left the room. Now that he had gone back, Secretary Lee looked at Jinwoo with a confused expression.
"Sir, is anything wrong?"
"Ah...I just had to receive an important personal phone call."
"Oh, I understand Sir."
Jinwoo sat down next to Secretary Lee and asked,
"So, h-how was the third interviewee?"
"Sir, in my opinion, Mr. Kim seemed very talented. His previous works are to be commended. I believe that if the remaining five interviewees aren't up to the standard as Mr. Kim, then the company will be having to choose between the third interviewee and Mr. Kim."

Jinwoo's lips let out a nervous smile. He was glad that Myungjun was able to impress but wondered if it was enough to win the job though.
Once the remaining interviewees had finished, the hiring staff had decided upon three candidates to be chosen to get hired. It was between Interviewee three (Mr. Hyun), Interviewee four (Mr. Kim) and Interviewee eight (Mr. Seok).
The main leader for the hiring decided to bring it down to Mr. Hyun and Mr. Kim.
"Mr. Hyun is very well known and his work is very professional however, Mr. Kim's creativity is to be complimented so perhaps he may be the fresh new talent we need for this company. Mr. Park, Sir, which do you prefer? A well known mainstream graphic designer, or one who isn't known but has more creativity and spirit in his work?"
The main hiring leader caught Jinwoo off guard as he asked him the question but he already knew who he would choose.
"Personally, I prefer creativity over the mainstream. I believe this company could use a man like Mr. Kim if he really can live up to the impressive standards that you have all been stating. After all, we want to grasp the attention of the public with some fresh and creative designs, don't you agree?"
"Of course Sir. See everyone, this is the reason why Mr. Park is the CEO and not us."
The room filled with laughter.
It was settled, Mr. Kim was going to receive the news of acquiring the job tomorrow while the company sorts out confidential terms and contracts regarding his hiring.
Secretary Lee and Jinwoo exited the hiring room and went to their next agenda.
"Sir, today we have only two meetings to attend so you will be free from 6:15 pm."

"Good. I have some things to do later."
"Are those things in relation to the company Sir?"
"Let's say those things are in relation to my personal duties."
"I understand Sir."
----------------------------------------------------------
Myungjun had finished his interview and the staff looked pretty impressed.
"Thank you for your time, Mr. Kim. Please make your way to the front desk to sign out and we will contact you via email in regards to whether you have acquired the job or not."
"Thank you."
Myungjun made his way to the front desk where he saw Sunie typing away on her computer.
"How was the interview Mr. Kim? I hope it went well'
"Yes thank you and I hope so too. By the way, they asked me to sign out as a visitor?"
"Ah yes, one second please."
Myungjun waited at the front desk, looking around the lobby, somewhat hoping he would find Jinwoo by chance. He remembers that Jinwoo had a meeting so maybe he was still busy.
Once Sunie signed him out, Myungjun left the company and headed to a nearby fast food restaurant. As he waited in line at the drive-thru, he quickly memorised the script for what he was going to order in his head and waited patiently for his turn.
After he paid and collected his order, Myungjun went to that same park bench where he had met Jinwoo. He began eating his burger and fries while looking at the pigeons fighting over food, dogs and their owners playing in the sun and couples having picnics in the shade.
He then decided to take out his phone with his left hand while holding his burger in the other. It was 1:57 pm, way past lunchtime. He wondered whether Jinwoo had eaten already. Clicking on messages, Myungjun decided to message him
