《Fairy Tail's Demon God》Chapter 4: Galuna, The Cursed Island

Ryuga woke up from his first night in his apartment. He looked to his right to find Mirajane sleeping on his bed. Smiling, he climbed out of bed and walked past the snoring Elfman on his couch. He fixed his hair and clothes and walked out of his apartment towards the guild hall. Before he got there, he got breakfast as a pastry shop. The owners were a kind old lady and her son. He ate breakfast there every Saturday. Once he finished, he said goodbye and headed into the guild. When he got there, Levy came running up to him with a worried look on her face.
Levy: "Ryuga! Good thing I found you. Someone stole an S-Class quest."
Ryuga: "Okay?.."
Levy: "Don't you realize? They're in danger!"
Ryuga: "Who stole it?" Alzack and Bisca walked over.
Bisca: "We don't know."
Movement was heard from the top floor, and Laxus showed himself resting on the balcony.
Laxus: "I saw a cat with wings take it."
Levy: "So it was Natsu and Lucy?"
Makarov: "Laxus. Go retrieve them!"
Laxus: "Can't do that old man, I got a job to do. Anyway, you should expel them when they come back, if they come back that is."
Makarov: "Tsk, who wants to go retrieve them then?"
Gray jumped down from a table, with only his boxers on.
Gray: "I guess I'll do it."
Cana: "Your clothes."
Gray: "Ah! When did that happen?"
Ryuga: "Gray, I'll go with you."
Laxus: "Ryuga! Don't waste your time trying to save small fry like them!"
Ryuga: "Small fry? Don't be ridiculous. Natsu has tons of potential, and Lucy, if given the right keys, can become the most powerful celestial wizard yet."
Laxus: "Yeah right! Those two can't do anything!"
Ryuga: "Even if they couldn't, they're part of Fairy Tail. Would you really sit around and let your guild members die, knowing you could do something about it?"
Laxus: "Tch, if they can't even handle one S-Class quest, then they're too weak to be in my Fairy Tail."
He walks back to his corner of the top, and Ryuga and Gray walk over to Makarov. Ryuga was told that Natsu dragged Lucy off to go on an S-Class quest, and Happy stole the quest. The destination was Galuna Island, and the quest was to rid the villagers of a curse.
Once they learned where to go, they headed out to the location. It took them a while to get to a harbor, and once they did, no one wanted to bring them to the island. When this happened, Ryuga took Gray and started teleporting towards the island. Since he couldn't see the island, didn't know the coordinates, and has never been there, he could only teleport a horizon at a time.
When they finally arrived at Galuna, they spent some time overlooking the place from a mountain. What they could see was a camp near the shore, a small village, and a temple. They decided to head towards the temple, since Gray said he could smell Natsu there.
Once they got inside, they fell through a random hole in the ground. They fell into the caverns below, and Gray fell on something more squishy than Ryuga did. Gray looked down and saw himself sitting on Happy.

Gray: "What the hell! Happy! What are you doing here?"
Happy: "Agh- Y-You S-on-me."
Gray: "Oh right, sorry." He got up and let Happy breath.
Happy: "I was scouting, Natsu and Lucy found this weird monster in here." Ryuga finally got up off the ground.
Ryuga: "What kind of monster?"
Happy: "A really big and scary one!"
Ryuga: "Take us to them. We need to extract them as soon as possible."
Happy led them to an opening in the cave. When they walked in, they saw a giant demon encased in ice. It looked like it had been moved there, rather then sealed there. When Gray saw it, he widened his eyes and with a terrified voice, uttered this one word.
Gray: "D-Deliora."
Ryuga: "Oh, the one that burned your village?"
Gray: "That's it!"
Ryuga: "Interesting... well it doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon."
Natsu and Lucy showed up and shoved both Ryuga and Gray behind a rock. They pointed behind them, where voices were heard. The voices eventually left after saying something about moonlight.
Ryuga: "You two are in some big trouble. Stealing and going on a S-Class quest."
Lucy: "It's not my fault! He dragged me!"
Natsu: "Ah why does it matter? Let's complete this quest!"
Ryuga: "No. I'm taking you both back to Fairy Tail."
Natsu: "But we haven't finished the quest! We need to uphold Fairy Tail's reputation."
Ryuga: *Sigh* "Isn't the quest something about a curse? Why are you here and not the village then?"
Natsu: "Well I felt a weird presence coming from here. Anyway! Why don't we sleep here and wait till nightfall. Those people said something about the moon right?"
Gray: "Yeah let's do it. I want to know why this monster is here."
Lucy: "Uh I don't know.."
Ryuga: "Choose."
Lucy: "Eh?"
Ryuga: "Depending on your answer, we'll leave or stay."
Lucy took a second to answer.
Lucy: "I-I think we should stay."
Ryuga: "Fine." He spoke under his breath.
The team was sleeping in a part of the cavern, although Ryuga was wide awake. He was trying to figure out the situation. The village is "cursed" since they turn into demons when the moon shines. Deliora is trapped in an ice spell named which can resist almost every type of magic. The people in the temple were talking about moonlight for some reason. That reason is most likely to use to melt the ice, but Deliora is half dead. What he couldn't understand was how the village was cursed, which was the quest. He decided to check it out himself, but before he could leave, the temple started shaking violently.
The others were woken up by this tremor, and saw purple light shining down from the top of the temple. They went outside and started heading up to the temple's top. When they got there, they found people casting the spell. Ryuga, figuring out what they were trying to do, dashed towards them and started using earth magic to capture them.
Once he captured everyone, he turned to find Gray arguing with someone in a helmet, and Natsu was encased in a block of ice. Gray kicked Natsu down, and the man in the helmet took it off. He revealed himself to be Lyon, Gray's fellow apprentice under Ur. They had a short fight, to which Ryuga enjoyed watching, and the fight ended in Gray's defeat. Lyon, however, didn't finish him off, and walked away, leaving the injured Gray.

Ryuga walked over to Gray and picked him up slowly. He then teleported in the direction of the village. When he got there, Natsu and Lucy looked pretty beat up. Ryuga set Gray down on a bed, and went to talk to Natsu and Lucy.
Ryuga: "What happened on your end?"
Natsu: "I fought this weird guy with super big eyebrows."
Lucy: "I fought a weird chick that was infatuated with saying the word 'love.'"
Ryuga: "Interesting. Gray fought Lyon and kind of got his ass handed to him."
Natsu: "That so? Too bad! Let's go back and destroy that temple!"
Ryuga: "Not a bad idea, but first." He looked up in the sky, towards the moon.
Ryuga gathered all of the members of the village together and started asking them some questions. According to them, the curse started taking place when Lyon and his group showed up, and whenever they tried to get to the temple, they found find themselves at the village again.
Ryuga: "Mhm, okay. I see what's wrong."
Everyone was confused, but Ryuga pointed to the sky and shot out a beam of light. The light hit something in the air, and an illusion spell was broken. The villagers turned into "demons" and Lucy and Natsu were both confused.
Ryuga: "You all were under a spell. You're actually demons, like me."
Village Chief: "Like you?"
Ryuga: "Yeah. I'm a demon also."
He let his wings and horns out, scaring the people around him.
Village Chief: "W-Wait! I remember now!" The villagers also agreed.
Ryuga: "Yeah, you were only under an illusion basically. So this quest doesn't really count."
Village Chief: "Even so, let us pay you!"
Ryuga: "No it's fine. Anyway." He turned to Natsu and Lucy. "Time to destroy the temple."
Natsu fist-bumped, and Lucy sighed. They started heading off into the direction of the temple again. On their way there, Ryuga stopped in his tracks, and he looked into the jungle to the left of them.
Ryuga: "You two go on ahead. I'll be right there."
Lucy: "Are you sure?"
Ryuga: "Yeah. It just seems like we have a little follower. Go on ahead."
They did, and he started walking towards the scent of flowers he smelled. When the smell was at it's strongest, he looked up into a tree to find an old looking man with a tribal mask and green hair.
Zalty: "Oyo? Looks like I've been found out."
Ryuga: "You're a weird one."
Zalty: "How so?"
Ryuga: "You're cross-dressing and using magic to cover up your voice, all while having a lovely lavender spray on. If you wanted to conceal yourself, maybe you should remove that scent first."
Zalty: "So you found out."
Zalty transformed into a voluptuous young woman, with long, jet-black hair, and wearing a white kimono.
Ryuga: "Now you look like someone who'd use lavender. By the way I'm a big fan of that perfume."
Ultear: "Why thank you, but what are you doing on my island? I'm Ultear by the way."
Ryuga: "Your island? Whatever, I was here to gather some of my people and take them back to a certain place. What are you doing here, Ultear?" Ultear only evaded the question.
Ultear: "I think I've seen you before. Could you lift up your shirt?"
Ryuga: "Oh? We only just met." He smirked and showed his guild mark to her. "Happy?"
Ultear: "So you're the real demon on this island huh?"
Ryuga: "Inde-"
He was cut off by a loud roar echoing across the island. The roar came from Deliora, meaning the was complete, and the demon is free.
Ultear: "Do you have to take care of that?"
Ryuga: *sigh* "I probably should."
Ultear: "Guess this is goodbye, for now that is.."
Ryuga: "One second."
Ultear: "Hm?"
Ryuga: "Your name. You're Ur's daughter aren't you? The one that was experimented on?" She looked shocked.
Ultear: "How do you know that information!?"
Ryuga: *chuckle* "There's a lot of information I know. Tell Master Precht that if he lays a finger on my guild, I'll show him what a real demon looks like." He let out all his demonic features.
Ultear: "You're letting me live?"
Ryuga: "Killing you grants me no benefit. Also I want you to deliver that message. Bye now~"
He teleported to the caverns, without waiting for her reply, and came face to face with Deliora. Currently it was beating the living hell out of Natsu and Lyon. Lucy ran up to Ryuga, who still had his demonic features out, and asked him what they should do. He didn't say anything, and instead, walked past her.
Ryuga: "You're a fake demon that's half dead. You're nothing but a worm waiting to be crushed."
Ryuga swiped his hand in a swift motion, and a blade of wind sliced Deliora in half, killing it instantly. Everyone had their jaw down to the floor.
Ryuga: "Welp, that's that. Let's head back and get Gray, then head to Fairy Tail."
Natsu and Lucy started walking towards the village, and Lyon walked away somewhere else. Ryuga didn't bother trying to stop him, since it wasn't his quest. Ryuga was about to start walking, but stop when he heard something call out to him from the water behind him.
Ur: "Thank you."
Ryuga nodded, without looking back, and started walking to the village.
The team was walking through Fairy Tail, not far from Magnolia, when Ryuga said something about punishment. Natsu and Happy freaked out, causing Lucy to freak out also. She wanted to know what the punishment was, but Ryuga kept walking.
Meanwhile, in a dark guild's base, Ultear was kneeling before a man with a very long, white beard. She just finished giving him the message Ryuga told her to send.
Ultear: "That is all he said, Master Hades."
The man, who was revealed to be Hades, clenched his fists and scowled.
Hades: "That little brat wants to defy his master? He'll definitely pay once we revive Lord Zeref!" Ultear smirked.
Ultear: "Yes, you're right."
