《y/n fujioka ||haruhi fujioka's sister||》||65||

It has been a week since Kyoya proposed a date with Y/n. They have both been messaging one another about the occasion, and where it would take place.
Y/n has never been the person to get enlivened over considerable and extravagant dates--she appreciates the simple things in life. Reflecting back on her little date with Souta Minato, they just went to a pleasant café.
At the present moment, Y/n was putting on a pair of pale brown sandals on her feet. The schedule of Y/n and Kyoya's date was taking place today. She has been looking forward to it due to her maintaining a feeling of fondness towards the raven haired male.
"Okay, I'm leaving, Haruhi." Y/n acknowledged as she stood up from the wooden floor after putting on her footwear.
"Alright, have fun on your date with Kyoya-Senpai." Haruhi granted with a small smile as well as a wave of her hand, standing behind the wavy haired female.
The night when Y/n and Haruhi arrived back home after visiting Kyoya with the other Host Club members while he was sick, Y/n apprised Haruhi about what occurred when Kyoya wanted to converse with just the shoulder length haired teenager. Needless to say, Haruhi was stupefied but also happy for her sister at the same time.
Y/n exited their apartment and began to journey towards the destination of where the date was being held. Kyoya offered collecting her and permitting his limousine driver to transfer them to the location, but Y/n politely declined and insisted on walking instead. It was a heavenly Saturday afternoon--neither rain nor any type of unpleasant weather was going to befall on this day. Not only did Y/n want to admire the outdoors, but it also gave her the chance to clear her thoughts and settle her nerves, allowing her to breathe in the fresh air and control the fluttery sensation in her stomach.
The brown haired girl was wearing a blue and white ditsy floral ruffle trimmed belted A-line dress that reached down to above her knees. She accompanied her outfit with a crossbody, pastel pink purse that contained her dark pink flip phone and wallet. Her shoulder length, brown, wavy hair was kept down, letting it glide smoothly through the breeze. She had a minimal amount of makeup on her face which only included mascara on her eyelashes, some concealer under her eyes, and some chapstick that left a soft tint of pink on her lips.
After some extent of time walking through the uncrowded streets of Bunkyō City, she has finally arrived at the destination of their date. Her brown eyes instantly caught sight of a familiar figure standing near the entrance of the building. Y/n approached the young man, causing her to gain his attention.
"Hi, Kyoya-Senpai." Y/n greeted with a small smile. "I hope I didn't make you wait too long."

"You're actually just on time." Kyoya remarked while glancing down at his watch that was positioned around his left wrist, checking the time as it precisely showed twelve:forty-five. The raven haired male directed his eyes towards the female in front of him. "Shall we go?"
Y/n nodded in response and walked beside Kyoya into the building. Due to Y/n enjoying the simplest of things, the two teenagers agreed on going to an indoors aquarium.
They proceeded to pay for their visit--both of them paid for their own time of visit after a small debate with Y/n proclaiming that she could pay for herself and that Kyoya didn't have to spend his money on her. The two individuals were eventually able to enter the area of where the aquarium begins.
"Woah, look at that." Y/n pointed her finger at a cylinder fish tank that encompassed a cluster of seahorses. She advanced towards the fish tank with Kyoya following after her, his hands in the pockets of his denim jeans. "That's a lot of seahorses."
Kyoya removed one of his hands from his pockets so he could adjust his prescription glasses, glancing down at the admiral-blue podium that displayed the description of the saltwater species. "These are lemur-tail seahorses." He read from the representation. "They reach a maximum length of eight centimeters, are usually dark brown and has a relatively long tail, a ridge-like coronet and flattened spines."
Y/n hummed with her index finger on her chin. "That's interesting. It's helpful that the employees here put descriptions of the aquatic animal so we can know what species they are."
Kyoya replied with a limited hum, placing his hand back in his pocket as they walked away from the cylinder seahorse tank and began to inspect the other fish tanks that were nearby.
As the two high schoolers journeyed further into the aquarium, they came across a large, horizontal, tempered glass that exhibited four seals submerged in the water. Y/n mentally awed at the brown fur seals as a smile formed on her lips. She brought her right hand to the thick glass and delicately pressed her palm against it, lightly tapping the glass with the pads of her fingers.
A seal swam by Y/n's hand, doing a small one-eighty as it gingerly went back to the sudden appearance of the hand. As the aquatic creature studied Y/n's hand, it slowly stationed its snout against the glass where the girl's palm was placed.
Y/n's eyes widened as they filled with wonder, a beaming smile materializing on her lips. She turned her head to her left side to look at Kyoya, seeing if he was watching the infrequent encounter. "Look, Kyoya-Senpai. It's pressing its snout on the glass where my hand is."
A miniature, closed lipped tug occurred on the corners of his lips as he witnessed Y/n's elation towards the trivial gesture. It didn't really matter to him and he could care less, but the existence of the female's high spirits made him admire the moment. And to say the least, his attention wasn't absorbed by the playful marine creature, but instead was primarily concentrating on the brown haired female standing beside him.

As the date progressed, Y/n and Kyoya observed some stingrays, they strolled through a tunnel-like walkway that was surrounded by water and sharks, they saw dolphins, whales, and they even got a picture taken by an employee, who gave each of them a copy of the picture that was taken by a polaroid camera. They were now about to make physical contact with some starfish.
The employee that was supervising the starfish area explained to the two teenagers to be gentle when touching the starfish and to cleanse their hands afterwards.
Y/n carefully submerged her hand into the open, rectangular tank, gently brushing the tips of her index finger and middle finger along one of the various starfish.
She smiled and turned her attention towards Kyoya, her hand still in the tank. "This feels so cool." She commented, soon noticing that his hands were in his pockets, making her scrunch her face in puzzlement. "Aren't you going to touch one of them?"
"No, thank you. I will just observe." He responded coolly.
"Well, I'm not going to force you to do something that you don't wanna do, but you're missing out." Y/n told him, directing her attentiveness back to the starfish she was stroking.
Kyoya stared at Y/n temporarily before catching a glimpse of the starfish in the tank. He released an inaudible sigh, moving closer to the rectangular tank. Due to the sleeves of his black button up dress shirt being rolled up to his elbows, he didn't need to dwell on getting his clothes wet as he sunk his hand in the water, grazing his index finger and middle finger on one of the starfish.
Y/n glanced at him from the corner of her eye, making a soft smile form on her lips.
After five more minutes of touching and admiring the starfish, the two teenagers made their way to a small sink that was next to the water tank and cleansed their hands.
Once they both finished washing their hands, they continued on with their date in the aquarium.

Y/n and Kyoya were now present in the gift shop of the marine exhibit that was near the exit of the building--which was installed next to the entrance.
'I think I'll get this for Haruhi and dad.' Y/n thought, picking up a small, pink, octopus plushie and a silver bracelet that had miniature charms of sea creatures attached to it. 'Even though it has a bunch of fish designed on it, I'm sure dad will like it. After all, he loves wearing accessories.'
Y/n turned herself around to look at Kyoya, who stood behind her. She held the two items in her hands as she took a couple of steps forward, perceiving his empty hands that were in his pockets. "Are you not going to buy anything?" She questioned.
"No. I consider the products in here to be rather inadequate." Kyoya discredited modestly. "What's the point of purchasing them?"
"Well, when someone buys something from a gift shop it's either a gift for someone else or it's a reminder of the visit they had here." Y/n explained, faintly sweat dropping. "It's like a souvenir."
Kyoya hummed, placing his thumb and index finger on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "I suppose. Nevertheless, I still find it rather insignificant to buy these items."
The wavy haired female vaguely slouched her shoulders. "Okay..." She mumbled before straightening her posture. "Anyways, we can go to the checkout counter now." She said, making Kyoya walk beside her as she walked towards the cash desk.
Y/n greeted the employee behind the counter before giving them her two items, allowing the employee to scan the price. She paid the amount of money she needed to deliver as the employee placed the two gifts in a miniature bag.
Once the wavy haired female secured the small bag in her hand, she thanked the employee before exiting the gift shop with Kyoya, soon departing from the aquatic building.
"This was a fun visit to the aquarium." Y/n smiled, looking at the raven haired male as they stood below the blue colored sky. "Thank you for inviting me out here, Senpai."
"Not at all." Kyoya began, pulling out his hand from his pocket so he could push his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "Shall we continue on with our date? I hope you don't mind but I devised a few more plans without you knowing."
"Eh? You did?" Y/n examined, moderately widening her eyes.
"Yes." A small smirk developed on his lips, a nonchalant behavior evident in his body language. "Well, are you prepared to get going?"
Y/n looked at Kyoya for a moment before letting out a hum and displaying a small nod of her head. The two individuals strolled away from the aquarium, proceeding on with their date that Y/n had no knowledge of.
