A total of six days have passed since Y/n agreed to play the role of Betty Rizzo for Ouran Academy's musical Grease. The first day she encountered Ayumi, Emiko, Kenji, and Daisuke, and was led to the school's auditorium, the wavy brown haired female made the acquaintance of the teacher who manages the Glee Club, Mr. Kurosawa who was also directing the theatrical performance.
Mr. Kurosawa seemed to be in his late twenties, possibly early thirties, and he has short, wavy, blond hair with chocolate-brown eyes.
Y/n was measured for her costumes that her character in the film usually wears, making sure that her outfits will be ready before the day of the musical. Once Y/n arrived home the first day of being handed the script, she wouldn't gift herself time of relaxation, meaning that she never stopped reviewing the dialogue, and she also forced herself to watch the movie Grease. Every chance she received for looking over her script, she would immediately take advantage of it--even reading her script during lunch and occasionally replacing her study time for it. Due to how unavailable she was in her schedule, Y/n hasn't been able to attend the Host Club.
Currently, it was time for after school activities, Y/n walking down the hallways towards the auditorium with Emiko's company. Once the two first years finished journeying towards the large concert hall, they both got ready for the nearing rehearsal.
Meanwhile, in music room three, Tamaki has been despondent in a corner for the past six days because of Y/n's absence in the Host Club, every so often planting mushrooms around him due to how abnormal it was without the shoulder length, wavy haired girl.
"Come on boss. We know you're upset about Y/n not being here, but you have to pull yourself together." Hikaru instructed curtly, hauling the blond haired male away from the dreary corner with the assistance of his twin brother.
"The club will be opening any minute now." Kaoru further stated, his hands still attached to Tamaki's left arm as Hikaru tugged on his right arm. "You still need to entertain your customers."
Tamaki mumbled incoherent words until an assumption occurred in his mind, making him hastily stand up, escaping from the twins' grasp, and approached Haruhi, placing his hands on her shoulders.
"Uh, Tamaki-Senpai, what are-"
"Don't tell me..." He quietly trailed off in a dreadful tone, cutting off the short haired female. "Is Y/n...leaving the Host Club to join the Glee Club?"
"Senpai, you need to calm down. Y/n isn't-"
"Please tell me Y/n isn't leaving the Host Club!" Tamaki implored, interrupting Haruhi once more as tears spurted out of his violet eyes.
Honey gasped, hearing his underclassman's loud exclaim from where he was sitting with Mori. "What? Y/n-Chan is leaving the Host Club?"
Tamaki removed his hands from Haruhi's shoulders, turning his back towards her. "She's been in rehearsal's for the past couple of days. Could it be that she's having the time of her life with the Glee Club that she's forgetting about us?" He considered in a slightly alarmed tone, turning back around to face the short, brown haired girl. "Is Y/n experiencing a great time rehearsing for the musical?"
"Well, yeah." Haruhi responded, shrugging her shoulders. "She's doing something that she's admired ever since we were little." Her eyes vaguely widened once she realized what she has spoken. "Wait, I-"
"What are we going to do?!" Tamaki cried out, his hands on the sides of his head as the stream of tears rushed down his cheeks.

"No, I don't want Y/n-Chan to leave!" Honey bawled, tears spilling out of his eyes.
Hikaru and Kaoru raised either of their index fingers once they got an idea. "We could eavesdrop on her during their rehearsal-"
"I know!" Tamaki intruded, aiming one of his fists upwards. "We could eavesdrop on her during their rehearsal!"
"We just said that..." The auburn haired twins stared at the violet eyed male with half-lidded eyes and a deadpanned expression.
Tamaki disregarded the two twins and pointed his index finger at the dark haired, second year student. "Kyoya, cancel today's club activities. We are going to sneak into Y/n's rehearsal."
The said raven haired male scribbled a note down onto a page of his notebook before bringing the journal to a close. "As you wish."

"This really isn't necessary. You guys are just overreacting." Haruhi whispered, exhaling heavily.
The seven members of the Host Club were presently in the auditorium, making sure to remain unseen as they stood near the lightless entrance of the theatre.
"Are you not worried at all for your sister, Haruhi?" Tamaki whisper-shouted, staring at her with a shocked expression. "Your sister might leave the Host Club and never return."
"Sorry if this sounds a little harsh Senpai, but I don't really care since I see her everyday at home." She replied with an impassive definition.
"If I recall correctly, Y/n still has her side of the debt to reimburse." Kyoya indicated from behind the short haired female, a challenging smirk materializing on his lips. "But since you're indifferent about the matter, I presume you're fine with paying the debt all on your own."
Haruhi sweat dropped and became disconcerted at his turn of phrase. Fortunately for her, Honey averted the group's attention to the well-illuminated stage.
"Look! There's Y/n-Chan!" Honey publicized quietly and pointed at the students who were participating in the musical walk onto the platform, clothed in their costumes.
Y/n was wearing a black dress that reached below her knees, a pair of sunglasses situated against her collarbone as they were supported with her v-cut collar. The dress tightened around where her legs began, making it resemble a tube dress. But the top of her outfit mirrored a buttoned-up blouse, her feet being partnered with one inch, black heels.
"Alright everyone, we are going to begin the rehearsal starting with the song Summer Nights. Please bring out the picnic table and the bleachers." Mr. Kurosawa instructed the individuals who were giving their assistance for the stage effects and props, sitting down in one of the third row's foldable, cushioned chairs.
At his request, the students that were preparing backstage brought out the metal bleachers and rolled them onto the right side of the stage while the other group positioned the picnic table on the left side of the stage, making it seem like two different settings.
"Okay, get into your positions everyone! We're going to start with how Danny's summer went." Mr. Kurosawa established, calling Kenji by his character's name. Once everyone was settled in their areas, he announced, "action!"
The boys stood on the top of the bleachers while the girls sat over by the picnic table for the lunch scene, background music chiming around the auditorium after the teacher released the affirmative.
"Hey, I wanna hear about what Danny did at the beach." The boy playing the role of Doody began.
"Yeah." The majority of the males agreed with interest.
"Ah, it was nothin'." Kenji dismissed coolly, moderately shrugging his shoulders.

"Sure, nothin', Zuko, right?" Daisuke examined, unconvinced by the dark haired male's response, lightly nudging his elbow against Kenji's left arm.
"C'mon, Danny. You got in her drawers, right?" The male representing the character Roger questioned keenly.
"Yeah. Come on, come on, tell us about that girl." The student playing the role of Doody persisted.
"What'd you do this summer, Sandy?" Emiko asked with a friendly smile, a curly strawberry blond wig hiding her usual ink-black colored hair.
"Oh, I spent most of them at the beach." Ayumi acknowledged with a kindhearted smile, wearing a shoulder length blond wig. "I met a boy there."
"You hauled your cookies all the way to the beach for some guy?" Y/n questioned unenthusiastically as she inspected her fingernails.
"But he was sort of special." Ayumi attempted to assure.
Y/n directed her gaze to Ayumi, a sarcastic smile appearing on her lips. "There ain't no such thing."
Ayumi glanced down at the wooden picnic table as her smile faltered before looking at the girl sitting on the left side of her, the girl playing the role of Patty Simcox. "He was really romantic."
The males became insistent towards Kenji, wanting to know about the girl he encountered at the beach.
"Aw, come on." Kenji smirked, glancing at the boys who were surrounding him. "You don't wanna hear all the horny details."
The boys became even more assertive after that intimation, as the character Doody held a miniature, yellow, semitransparent water gun against Kenji's chest.
"Alright, I'll tell you!" The ink-black haired male ultimately acceded with a smile.
"Summer lovin' had me a blast."
"Summer lovin' happened so fast." Ayumi sang after Kenji, a nostalgic smile on her lips.
"I met a girl crazy for me."
"Met a boy cute as can be."
"Summer days driftin' away,
to uh-oh those summer nights." Ayumi and Kenji harmonized together.
"Uh well-a well-a well-a huh
Tell me more, tell me more.
Did you get very far?" All the boys chorused.
"Tell me more, tell me more." The girls sang, except for Y/n.
"Like does he have a car?" The female playing the role of Marty Maraschino rendered.
"Uh-huh Uh-huh
Uh-huh uh-huh."
"She swam by me,
she got a cramp."
"He ran by me,
Got my suit damp."
"I saved her life,
she nearly drowned."
"He showed off,
Splashing around."
"Summer sun, something's begun,
But uh-oh those summer nights."
"Uh well-a well-a well-a huh."
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"Was it love at first sight?" Emiko questioned with an excited smile.
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"Did she put up a fight?" Daisuke quizzed, pretending to get punched in the chest by one of the other boys.
"Uh-huh-uh-huh-
Uh-huh-uh-huh."
"Took her bowling in the arcade."
"We went strolling,
Drank lemonade."
"We made out under the dock."
"We stayed out 'till ten o'clock."
"Summer fling,
don't mean a thing,
But uh-oh those summer nights."
Y/n nonchalantly placed her sunglasses over her eyes and sparingly kicked the female playing the role of Patty, making her collide with Ayumi as they both toppled to the floor of the stage, knocking over a metallic trash can.
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"But you don't gotta brag." The boy playing the role of Sonny sang, bringing his hands together before facing the palm of his hands upwards.
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"Cause he sounds like a drag." Y/n stated discourteously with her hand on her hip while Ayumi and the other female recovered from their descend, sitting back down onto the picnic table's surface.
"Shoo-bop bop
Shoo-bop bop, yeh!"
"He got friendly,
Holding my hand."
"While she got friendly
Down in the sand."
"He was sweet,
Just turned eighteen."
"Well she was good
You know what I mean."
"Summer heat,
Boy and girl meet,
But uh-oh those summer nights."
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"How much dough did he spend?" The girl playing the character Jan asked with a frisky smirk.
"Tell me more, tell me more."
"Could she get me a friend?" The boy playing the role of Sonny smiled as he tapped Kenji on the shoulder, but he was soon shoved down onto the bleachers by one of the boys, making him sit down.
"It turned colder--
That's where it ends." Ayumi sang discouragingly, slowly walking towards the front of the stage, away from the picnic table that held the group of girls.
"So I told her we'd still be friends." Kenji glanced down at his feet with his hands in the pockets of his black, leather jacket, steadily walking away from the other males.
"Then we made our true love vow."
"Wonder what she's doing now."
"Summer dreams
Ripped at the seams,
Bu-ut oh, those su-ummer nights..."
"Tell me more, tell me more!" Everyone, except for Y/n, sang as Kenji and Ayumi held their whole, musical note.
Once the music and singing came to an end, Mr. Kurosawa stood up from where he was sitting and clapped his hands, a pleased smile on his lips.
"That was amazing, everyone. Ayumi, when you and Kenji finish off the song you need to make your voice a little higher, but other than that everything was perfect." He defined and Ayumi nodded her head happily. "Okay, you can all take a five minute break while we change to the next scene."
And so, everyone began to converse with one another as their short time for diversion began.
"That was so much fun! I love performing! You did amazing too, Y/n!" Ayumi grinned joyfully with wide, shimmering eyes as she leaned towards the said female.
"Thanks, Ayumi-Senpai." Y/n said with a small smile. "But I didn't really do anything."
"Yeah, but you've been doing great ever since we've given you the script." Emiko chimed in with her arms crossed over her chest, a knowing smile evident on her lips. "It's honestly pretty impressive how much you've memorized in such a short time."
Y/n slightly shrugged her shoulders, not thinking much of Emiko's words. "I guess you're right..."
Two familiar males approached the three girls, including themselves in the conversation. "Hey, you guys did great." Daisuke complimented with a smile and a small wave of his hand.
"Thanks! You guys did great, too." Ayumi displayed a bright, closed eyed smile. "Now that I think about it, we all work really well together."
"Ayumi, that's because we're friends and have been doing musicals ever since we joined the Glee Club." Kenji enlightened, his hands remaining in the pockets of his leather jacket.
"I know that, silly!" Ayumi tapped her index finger against the ink-black haired male's forehead repeatedly. "I was talking about Y/n!"
Daisuke smiled softly at the wavy, brown haired first year. "She does have a point. You've only been with us for six days, but it feels like you've been a part of the group longer than that."
"It does." Kenji agreed, gently swatting Ayumi's finger away from his forehead with his hand.
"You should honestly join the Glee Club." Emiko recommended sincerely. "You're really talented and it's obvious that you are meant to perform."
Y/n hummed in mild thought, bringing a strand of her wavy hair behind her ear. "I mean, that's not a bad idea..."
Once those words departed from her mouth, six out of the seven hosts, who were standing near the entrance of the auditorium, had their mouths agape, omitting Kyoya.
"Y-Y/n wants to join...the Glee Club?" Tamaki and the twins muttered with widened eyes, dismay and dread consuming their bodies.
"I-It might be a misunderstanding." Haruhi commented, faintly nervous about the circumstances. Even though she and the wavy haired female were siblings, she didn't know if Y/n would consider uniting with the Glee Club. Her small amount of nervousness quickly vanished when a thought crossed her mind. "Wait, can't Y/n be in two clubs?"
"I'm afraid not." Kyoya denied, adjusting his glasses, making a glare reflect off the lenses. "Participating in two clubs, plus the additional amount of school assignments, would be too abundant and could lead to stress. If Y/n wishes to join the Glee Club but still wants to attend the Host Club, there's a possible chance of her being absent in one club while she's present in the other. Both the Glee Club and the Host Club have after school activities everyday, so it'll be impossible to take part in both when both are required."
Haruhi discarded her previous thought, sweat dropping. "W-Well we don't know for sure if Y/n will actually join the Glee Club. She just said that it wasn't a bad idea."
"Haruhi, you're her sister." Tamaki began earnestly, his blond bangs casting a shadow over his eyes. "Do you think she would want to join the Glee Club?"
"Uhhh." Haruhi averted her eyes to the side. Of course she knew what her sister would want--their siblings. She released a sigh and stopped debating with herself, turning her gaze back to Y/n, who was still situated on the stage with a smile of her face. "I'm not sure, Senpai..."

Commander Coop, a four-armed, power-armored, super-soldier, undertakes a mission to assassinate the head of a religious cult bent on destroying the UPSF and everyone they protect. But no mission is ever that simple. GAIA ARK is an action adventure hero's journey featuring a cranky cyborg, vampiric sword, alien monsters, and enough self-discovery to provide a character arc. It's a little rough around the edges, a little crude. I started writing this story on November 2, 2018. This story is mid-composition. Please expect clunky prose, notes [in brackets], and incomplete...
