《y/n fujioka ||haruhi fujioka's sister||》||59||

Y/n and Haruhi were strolling to a nearby park that was a few minutes away from the apartment building they reside in. The ambience was serene as the sky remained it's accustomed shade of blue, the climate possessing a small breeze, making it an ideal day for a picnic. However, it wasn't the sisters' proposal of organizing an outdoor meal.
The blond haired male, who first formulated the Host Club, planned on arranging a picnic at a local park, and has requested his club-mate's company.
Haruhi's left hand was grasping onto a plastic bag that had two bento-like containers, which contained little sandwiches that she and Y/n prepared beforehand.
After some time, Y/n and Haruhi arrived at the park, walking along the concrete path that was provided. There was a tolerable amount of trees and bushes, the freshly cut grass making it perfect to wander across. The prevailing individuals who were present at the public park were either walking adjacent to the path or children frolicking with their friends or their guardians.
As the two sisters scanned the area for the definite group of six distinguished young men, a familiar voice called for their attention from a distance, making the pair of siblings turn their gaze to where they heard the shout.
"Y/n, Haruhi! Over here!" Hikaru hollered out, waving his arms above his head as if to usher them to him, the other members standing either beside him or behind him.
The two brown haired females strode towards the group of boys, noticing a red and white plaided picnic blanket on the grass that now had the male teenagers positioned on it. The closer the Fujioka siblings got to that section of the park, the more discernible the luxurious snacks on the blanket were, unmistakably putting their sandwiches to shame.
"Hello, Haruhi and Y/n." Tamaki greeted with a beaming grin once the two said girl's made it to the layout. "Welcome to the Host Club's outdoor picnic!"
"Hey, guys." Y/n acknowledged, her brown eyes observing the morsel of food. 'Looks like we didn't need to bring anything...' She presumed.
"Uh, yeah. Hi." Haruhi returned, subtle drops of sweat accumulating on her left cheek as she stared at the edibles on the picnic blanket.
"Aren't you two going to sit down? There is plenty of room." Tamaki guaranteed, gesturing his hands to the sizable blanket.
Before the two sisters could reply with actions, Honey chimed in with a pleasing smile. "Y/n-Chan, Haru-Chan, wanna sit next to me?"
Y/n glanced at her sister and shrugged, directing her attention back to the golden-blond haired boy. "Sure."
Y/n and Haruhi advanced towards their bubbly upperclassman and sat down on either side of him, the short haired female settled the plastic bag that contained the sandwiches beside her.
"Haruhi, what is that you brought with you?" Kyoya questioned, bringing it to everyone's awareness.
"Oh, these?" Haruhi began, looking down at the plastic bag. "Y/n and I thought that we could make something for the picnic, but it seems like you guys already took care of the food." She explained, saying the last part of her sentence in a deadpanned tone.
"We'll still eat it!" Tamaki declared in a committed signal, quickly moving his violet orbs to his male companions. "Right, men?"
"Yes, sir!" The twins and Honey concurred, saluting to the blond haired second year.
Y/n and Haruhi shared a look with one another before they both shrugged their shoulders and spoke, "okay."
Haruhi lifted the plastic bag and situated it on her lap, separating the two handles to expose the two bento-like containers, allowing her to take them out and lay them upon the picnic blanket. She removed the lid to one of the containers while Y/n became occupied with the other one. The two sisters detached the top layer of the bento box that held three sandwiches, revealing an additional of three sandwiches on the bottom layer.

Once they completed their task, the Hitachiin twins and Tamaki immediately snatched a sandwich for themselves and took a considerable bite.
A delightful hum sounded from Tamaki and the twins' throat, miniature stars practically shimmering around them. "It's delicious." They commented in unison, taking another bite out of the sandwich they were each holding.
"Uh, thanks. Glad you like 'em." The Fujioka sisters said while the three male's consumed their sandwiches.
"Y/n-Chan, Haru-Chan, try this cookie. It's so good!" Honey indicated, holding out two, pale yellow cookies for the said females.
Y/n accepted the circular treat from Honey, Haruhi following along right after. The wavy haired sibling parted her lips and stationed the cookie in her mouth, chewing on it to taste the vanilla and lemon flavored treat, while Haruhi inspected it for a moment before putting it in her mouth.
"Well?" Honey prompted with a hopeful smile, his aura displaying little pink flower blossoms floating around him.
"It's good." Haruhi admitted with the corners of her lips tugging upwards, making Y/n nod her head and mirror the small smile her sister exhibited on her lips, causing the golden-blond haired boy to giggle with a closed eyed grin.

The picnic progressed with the Host Club conversing with each other and enjoying the delicious snacks that were put together.
"How about we play kick the can?" Tamaki propounded with a perky expression, raising one of his index fingers.
The twins smiled widely at the exhortation. "Yeah!"
"Great idea, boss." Kaoru accredited with a thumbs up, his grin still apparent on his lips.
"Yay! Kick the can!" Honey motivated, jumping out of his sitting position as he stood up, and Mori showed a small nod of his head.
Kyoya adjusted the glasses that rested upon his face with his index finger and middle finger, an uninterested impression materializing on his facial features. "Are we required to participate in this childish game?"
Tamaki stood up from where he was sitting and arrayed his thumb and index finger below his chin. A light breeze of wind drifted towards them, making his blond hair sway as a smug smile formed on his lips. "Oh Kyoya, you don't know the ways of a commoner's picnic. There's a variety of food and games to play that will correspond with a good time. Let us be one with the commoners."
Y/n and Haruhi felt their eyebrow twitch at the blond haired male's words. "Can you stop making it sound like commoners are like aliens?" They requested with their shoulders slouched.
Their words were ignored as Tamaki pulled out an empty can from behind his back. "Let's play!"
"Wait, hold on a minute." Haruhi began, her and her sister standing up from the plaided blanket, staring at the six males who were up on their feet. "There are barely any places to hide."
Y/n nodded in agreement, dusting off her hands with the sides of her loose denim jeans. "She's right, you guys."
Tamaki placed his thumb and index finger on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "How about we just play kick the can, but instead it's like soccer? We kick the can like it's a soccer ball." He unraveled with a smile on his face, pointing his index finger and thumb at two trees that were planted on the right side. "Those two trees can be a goalpost." He shifted his finger to the opposite side, bringing his attention to two other trees. "And those two trees can be another goalpost."

"Good idea, Tama-Chan!" Honey praised with a broad smile, both of his arms wrapped around his stuffed bunny Usa-Chan as he shimmied his body from side to side. "This is gonna be fun!"
Y/n caught sight of her fraternal twin sister, who released a sigh and moderately hunched her back. The youngest Fujioka sibling shrugged her shoulder and showed Haruhi a miniature grin. The eight high schoolers made their way to an open field that was a short distance away from their picnic arrangement.
The president of the Host Club stood in front of his companions, holding the empty can up with his right hand as his left hand rested on his hip. "Alright everyone, for this different game of kick the can, there will be two teams that have one team captain. I will be the captain of my team-"
"Why do you have to be team captain?" Hikaru cut Tamaki's explanation off, dissatisfaction evident on his face.
"Yeah, why can't anyone else be captain?" Kaoru questioned with the same expression as his brother.
"Because I said so." Tamaki simply reasoned with an indifferent definition. "Now I have to choose the other team captain for the other team." He looked through the teenagers standing in front of him, not even sparing a second glance at the twins. He eventually snapped his fingers as an optimistic grin appeared on his lips. "Kyoya, you will be the team captain for your teammates!"
The said male with glasses reluctantly walked towards the blond haired male and situated himself next to him. "Very well then, now what?"
"We pick our teammates." Tamaki informed, facing Kyoya. "Let's do rock, papper, scissors to see who goes first."
The two second year student's devised a small round of the hand-game, both of them lightly bringing their fists to the palm of their hand three times. At the end, Tamaki's hand remained as a fist that represented rock, while Kyoya formed a sideways peace sign that acted as scissors, meaning that the blond haired male specifies his first member of his team.
Tamaki had a victorious smile on his face as he turned to the other members. "Alright, I get to pick who I want on my team first." His violet eyes immediately landed on the short, brown haired female. "I want Haruhi on my team!" He announced, making the said girl exhale heavily and make her way towards him.
"Hm, since you chose one of the Fujioka siblings, it'll only be fair that I select the one that's left standing." Kyoya began with a token of complacent on his face, and directed his brownish-grey eyes to Haruhi's sister. "Y/n, you're on my team."
Tamaki let out an exaggerated gasp and pointed a finger at Kyoya. "You can't take Y/n--I'm her father! It'll only be right if she's on the same team as Haruhi and I!"
Kyoya showed an unconcerned, closed eyed smile towards the blond haired male as Y/n positioned herself beside him. "I apologize Tamaki, but I'm afraid that she's already been chosen for my team. It's once again your turn to determine your next ally."
"Fine." Tamaki grumbled under his breath, clenching his hands into fists. "Hikaru, you're going to be on my team."
It took about five minutes for the two team captains to finish selecting their partners for their team. Team-A, which is known as Tamaki's team, includes Haruhi, Hikaru, and Kaoru. Meanwhile, on Kyoya's team, which is identified as Team-B, consists of Y/n, Mori, and Honey.
The two separate teams went to their side of the field--Kyoya's group stationing themselves on the right side as Tamaki's selection stood on the left side.
Tamaki settled the can in the middle of the area and walked towards his team members. "Okay... Now let the game begin!" He commenced and everyone rushed towards the small, hollowed object.
Y/n reached the middle of the field first, sweeping her leg at the can so it wouldn't be near Team-A. She ran towards the two trees that represented the opposing team's goalpost, aiming the can towards the two tree trunks.
Suddenly, the drained out soda can was extracted from her advantage as Hikaru thrusted the tin to Kaoru. "Sorry Y/n, but there's no way that I was going to let you kick the can in our goal." Hikaru smirked at Y/n's failed attempt and dashed away.
The wavy haired female rolled her eyes in a humorous manner, hurriedly following where the can was advancing. The tin was kicked away from Kaoru by Mori who instantly ran towards Team-A's goalpost and propelled the can so it would pass the two trees.
"We got a point! Good job, Takashi!" Honey celebrated his cousin's accomplishment as he jumped from where he was standing excitedly.
The succeeding round began not too long after Team-B's small victory for getting the tin passed their rivals end line.
Once the second round of the game started, Tamaki hastened towards the canister and kicked it away from his opponents, passing it to Hikaru, who soon transferred it to Kaoru, who ended up delivering the can to Haruhi.
The short haired female was already accessible to Team-B's goalpost, allowing her to wind her foot back before sending the can past the two trees, earning a point for her team.
"Yes!" Tamaki induced his fellow teammate, glorifying her successful effort in kicking the can passed the opposite team's trees. "Well done, Haruhi!"
- - - -
The game of kick the can--soccer addition--continued, both teams receiving points whenever they won a round, leaving the two groups to now have the same amount of points.
Before the final round began, Tamaki discussed a plan that would undoubtedly make his team victorious with his allies.
During the concluding round, the can was taken away from Honey by Kaoru, the auburn haired twin kicking it towards Tamaki.
The blond haired male's eyes focused on the can, curving his foot back as he started his plan of action. "Starlight kick!" He commentated loudly as his foot collided with the can forcefully, making the object travel through the air in a brisk pace, approaching Team-B's goalpost.
Tamaki and the Hitachiin twins had wide, predicting grins on their faces as the can neared their rival's end line, but their eager expressions immediately dematerialized once the tin impacted one of the tree's trunks and aimed for the contrary direction.
In the blink of an eye, the can went straight through Team-A's goalpost.
"And we're the victors of this game." Kyoya submitted with a small, gruntled tug at the corners of his lips as he stood alongside his teammates.
Honey smiled ecstatically as he raised his arms up in triumph. "Yay! Yay! We won!"
"That was a fun game of kick the can." Y/n reflected with a limited laugh, making Mori hum in agreement and show a small nod of his head.
"It seems as though the King's strategy has failed." Kyoya alluded with a faint smirk on his lips, his arms being crossed over his chest as he observed the disposition Tamaki was in.
The said male was crouched down in front of a tree, sulking at his lack of success. Hikaru and Kaoru were squatting down beside the blond haired male, trying to lift up their upperclassman's spirit, while Haruhi remained on her feet, sweat dropping at Tamaki's functioning.
"We won! We won!" Honey chanted repeatedly, circling his three teammates with a closed eyed grin on his face. "We won!"

Blinded by the dream of immortality, the researchers push the tests to inhumane standards. John is obligated to take part in sessions of torture designed to test the limits of the AI influence over the physical and mental health. What was supposed to be a new beginning in life turns into living hell. An (un)lucky twist ends his life. John then reincarnates with his AI in a new world where a System influences the interaction between Magic and Matter. With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!
