"Uhh, Kyoya-Senpai, is everything okay?"
The said young man disregarded Y/n's question and kept his concentration on the marketing stand.
"You know, they have such exquisite color, don't they?" The man with the mustache began, glancing both ways with one of his hands hovering over the side of his mouth and whispered. "To tell you the truth, I'm not really even supposed to have these out on display. The bulk of the Komatsu collection has been privately held for ages. Pieces rarely come up for sale."
The elderly woman looked closely at the collection in awe.
Kyoya approached the stand, making a confused expression appear on Y/n's face. "What is he doing?"
"I don't know. Let's go see." Haruhi told her and walked towards Kyoya, keeping her distance from him as Y/n followed her.
"With all due respect, these are fake." He interjected with a faint, cunning smirk. The aged woman turned her head to where his voice came from, acknowledging his presence.
"Hey, get out of here, kid. What do you think you're doing?" The man scowled.
Kyoya picked up a blue bowl and inspected it. "The shade of blue is strongly reminiscent of Shoin's work, but looking closely around the base you'll notice the color graduation isn't quite dark enough to be authentic--that and the lacquer is too clear."
The man looked taken aback, an irked expression materializing on his facial features. "That's enough of you, Mr. Expert! I'll report you for obstructing my business!" He threatened as a small group of people started to assemble around the commotion.
Kyoya turned the item in his hands around, making the bottom part of the bowl face upwards. "Just as I thought. The brushstrokes on this seal are uncharacteristically broad as well. For your sake I hope you have a certificate." He glanced at the older male who began to sweat tensely. "That is if you still insist it's real."
"Of course it's real!" He stuttered with a hint of nervousness in his voice. "I have the certificate at home!"
"Ah, then surely you won't mind if I call the Komatsu family right now to verify your claim." The raven haired young man challenged. "My own family has had dealings with them for generations. It would only be a matter of minutes."
"Busted." Y/n extended the word with a small smirk evident on her lips as she viewed the man gasp in horror, making Haruhi nudge her in the rib cage as a way of telling her to knock it off.
Before long, security was called and escorted the man away. Y/n and Haruhi saw as the elderly woman bowed repeatedly in front of their upperclassman, exhibiting her gratitude.
"After everything you've told us, Senpai, stepping in on a complete stranger's behalf seems a little out of character for you." Haruhi pointed out as Kyoya now stood in between the two sisters. The older woman was being occupied by a woman that worked at the department store who was apologizing for the situation that the elderly female just encountered.

"Oh, that? Well, now, she's hardly a stranger." Kyoya disclosed and noticed the puzzled definitions that Haruhi and Y/n were giving him. "You mean you two don't know? Her husband is the CEO of a major electronics company. This is my first time to meet her personally. But that ring on her left hand is unmistakeable. My family has dealings with her husband's company."
The two siblings shared a look with one another, both of their shoulders slouched as their eyebrows moderately twitched.
'It's like every rich person knows each other.' Y/n thought.
The old lady leisurely advanced towards the second year high school student. "Ah, one of the Ootori boys!" She smiled delightfully, bringing a hand up to her mouth. "Imagine running into you here incognito! The next opportunity I have, I'll be sure to take advantage of one of your family's beautiful health resorts."
Kyoya showed her a small, polite smile along with a limited bow. "We'd be honored."
Y/n sensed Haruhi move closer to her and leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Did you notice that the lady's ring was hidden behind a red banner?"
The wavy haired teenager thought about her sisters observation before widening her brown eyes and whispering back. "You're right. Could he have really seen that ring when it was behind the banner or what?"
"Hey, Haruhi, Y/n." Kyoya called the two said sisters, standing in front of a concession stand. "Did you know this?"
"Did we know what?" The two girls queried.
"Is melon the preferred flavor among snack makers?" He quizzed, staring down at the display of snacks.
"What?" Y/n moved to stand next to him and look at the items that caught his attention.
"It doesn't make sense." Kyoya inaugurated while holding a box of snacks, his knuckles from his other hand were up against his lips. "If the primary ingredient is corn, why go to the trouble of artificially making it taste like fruit? Seems counter-intuitive."
Y/n snickered with Haruhi at their upperclassman's statement.
"That's an intriguing notion-" Haruhi began with a hand hovering over her mouth.
"-in its own way." Y/n finished with a small giggle.
"Oh, was I being funny?" He questioned, passionlessly.
"Wow. You know, earlier you kept saying that you and Tamaki-Senpai are nothing alike, but what you just said about that snack is exactly what Tamaki-Senpai would have said." Y/n conveyed with a grin.
Kyoya's brownish-grey eyes slightly widened before a miniature smile formed on his lips, rotating his head away from the younger Fujioka sibling. "You think so? This does seem like something he and the twins would fawn over." He glanced down at the box of snacks. "Very well, I'll buy them." He held out his free hand towards the wavy haired female. "Y/n, your wallet."
The said female's grin wavered until it was absent from her lips. Of course he'd ask her--she was the one nearest to him at that moment. "Oh, yeah... Right. Just get me the receipt." She sighed and handed him her wallet.

Kyoya bought two boxes of the melon flavored snacks and gave money to the woman behind the stand, which she kindly accepted and placed the two boxes into a plastic bag, soon handing it to the young man in front of her.
"Have a great rest of your day!" She smiled graciously.
"Thank you, you as well." Y/n replied with a small smile and Kyoya handed her wallet back to her. She deadpanned as she put the wallet in her back pocket. "...thanks."
The trio journeyed back to where Haruhi and Y/n found Kyoya in the first place and sat down on the mall bench.
"Hey, Senpai?" Haruhi began.
"Hm?"
"Why do you think that Tamaki-Senpai is always so eager to help people when they're in need?"
"You mean when there's nothing to be gained from it? Who knows?" He disclosed.
"So then, when you help someone, how exactly do you benefit from it?" Haruhi carried on. "Money, or reputation? Or is it more abstract? Because the way I see it, Tamaki-Senpai gets something out of helping others that doesn't necessarily involve their paying him back. So maybe when you get right down to it--the two of you aren't all that different."
Y/n stared at her sister in amazement. "That's a great conclusion, Haruhi."
After a minute or so, Kyoya suddenly stood up from where he was sitting and the intercom turned on.
"Attention shoppers. This is an announcement for a lost child. Attention shoppers. This is an announcement for a lost child." The woman repeated through the intercom. "A little boy named Kyoya Ootori is lost inside the store. Repeat: Kyoya Ootori is lost. His guardian Suoh is waiting for him at the second floor information counter."
"Oh my god..." Y/n muttered, attempting to suppress her upcoming laughter at the announcement.
"Kyoya is five feet, eleven inches tall, with black hair and wearing prescription glasses."
"Is that him?" A woman whispered while looking at the young man who described the description.
"Matches the description." A man replied as a small crowd formed.
"He's a little big to be lost, don't you think?"
"Hey mister, is there something wrong with you?" A little boy around the age of seven asked while pointing his index finger at Kyoya.
"That damn idiot. I'll kill him!" Kyoya shouted angrily.
Y/n's need to laugh quickly vanished once she caught sight of the enraged male. She and Haruhi shrieked in terror, clutching onto one another as they sweat dropped profusely.

The trio advanced towards the second floor and to the information desk--standing there already was the rest of the Host Club.
Kyoya continued to walk but stopped about ten steps away from the five young men, causing them to turn around and notice their dark haired friend with glasses.
"Oh Kyoya! There you are!" Tamaki cried out in joy and relief. "We were so worried- why is Y/n and Haruhi with you?" His tone changed to a quieter one as soon as he spotted the two sisters.
Honey approached Y/n and Haruhi with excitement. "Oh boy! Oh boy! Haru-Chan and Y/n-Chan has come to play with us!"
"Hooray! Play! Play! Play! Play!" Hikaru and Kaoru cheered, sliding up to stand next to Honey.
"I'm sorry, guys, but I'm exhausted. It has been a very long day for me." Haruhi informed blankly.
"Yeah, same." Y/n agreed.
A mixture of a dog barking and Tamaki's laughter sounded throughout the information counter area, which caught the two sisters' attention.
"Haha, stop it! Quit licking me! Hahaha! That tickles!" Tamaki laughed as a golden retriever with a big red bow around their neck positioned themself on top of the blond haired male and dragged their tongue along his face.
"What's with the dog?" Kyoya examined, unamused.
Tamaki sat up on the floor with a bright smile on his face. "Isn't she beautiful? I got her at this amazing place they call a pet shop." The dog began to lick his face again. "Haha! Hey! Cut it out, Antoinette!" The dog who was now known as Antoinette pushed Tamaki back down on the floor.
Y/n smiled softly at the scene in front of her. "She is pretty cute."
"How exactly am I like this moron?" Kyoya questioned over Y/n's comment.
The two sisters looked at each other before glancing up at the second year male.
"Mhm. You know, Haruhi pointed out something earlier after you helped that lady from before. When you first saw her there was no way that you could've seen her ring from where we were standing. But you still decided to help that woman even though you didn't know who she was at first." Y/n explained with a small grin and then sighed playfully. "You go through all that trouble of acting like this uptight, serious jerk when in reality you're just nice." She finalized, directing her eyes back to her sister.
"Wanna go home?" Haruhi suggested with a small smile.
"Yeah." Y/n replied and took ahold of Haruhi's hand, looking back at Kyoya and sending him a small wave of her hand before walking away.
Kyoya turned around to gaze at the two sisters as they moved farther away from him, his brownish-grey eyes mostly aimed on the shoulder length, wavy haired female. A small smirk developed on his lips. "That's a very intriguing notion, in its own way."
