The Host Club and the Newspaper Club were outside playing a game of The Daruma Doll Fell Over. The members of the Host Club were being more dynamic as they played, but the Newspaper Club just stood near the sidelines watching the game progress.
"The Daruma doll fell over!" Tamaki called, rotating himself around to look back at his club members, making the hosts cease all of their movements.
Once Tamaki turned back around to face the tree, the club members began to walk again--except for Kyoya who stayed at the starting point of the game.
"The Daruma doll fell ov-er!"
Once again, everyone froze when the blond haired male glanced back at them but proceed to walk forward after he turned away.
"The Daruma doll fell ov-er!"
Everyone became motionless, closer to the tree where Tamaki was standing.
"The Daruma doll fell ov-er!"
The hosts went still another time, moving onwards as soon as Tamaki turned back around.
"The Daruma doll fell over!" Tamaki announced faster.
"The Daruma doll fell over!" He spoke so hurriedly that the end of his sentence came out incoherently.
Last minute, Kyoya slyly made it to where everyone else was before Tamaki turned around.
The blond haired male pointed his finger at the twins, expeditiously. "I saw you move Hikaru and Kaoru! I saw you! You moved!"
"What? We didn't move, boss!" The twins denied.
Y/n glanced behind her and saw her upperclassman who had his arms crossed over his chest. "I'm surprised you made it here that fast, Kyoya-Senpai."
Kyoya adjusted the glasses that rested upon his face. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Eh? But I thought-" Y/n sighed, cutting her own words off. "You know what, forget I even said anything." She dismissed, turning back aground and missing the glint of amusement in his brownish-grey eyes.
Suddenly, Tamaki was positioned near the Newspaper Club, his thumb and index finger on his chin alluringly. "You know, I can't blame you for being shocked. I was unfamiliar with it myself, but it's a commoner's game." He extended his arms out as sparkles surrounded him. "They have a wide variety and none of them require spending any money, all you need is a few friends to play with."
"Mh-hm, and what does this have to do with our coverage of the Host Club?" Komatsuzawa questioned, his eyebrows twitching in irritation.
"Looks like someone's getting a bit irked." Y/n mumbled and Haruhi showed a small nod, both of the sisters gazing at Komatsuzawa.
Tamaki aggressively pointed his finger at the president of the Newspaper Club. "You need to learn friendliness!"
The abrupt intensity of Tamaki's voice startled the three Newspaper Club members, causing them to jolt up.
Tamaki crossed his arms over his chest as he faced away from them, his voice changing to a calm, yet stern tone. "If you want to clear the negative reputation of the Newspaper Club and attempt to capture the hearts of your readers, you must try to be more down to earth! I can just imagine the headlines now." He placed the knuckle of his index finger on his chin in a thoughtful manner. "'The Handsome Boys and Beautiful Girl of the Host Club Enjoy Commoners' Games!' With pictures of us frolicking in the scenery of early summer--it would be the perfect facelift for your front page! And it gives you the chance to show that two certain commoners are happier now reliving their childhood here with us!"

The blond haired male was present at the tree he was standing at previously, looking at Y/n and Haruhi with a tenderhearted smile before looking away, repeating that cycle until showing them a friendly wave.
"Great, he's looking at us." Haruhi sarcastically pointed out, sweat dropping as she steered her gaze away from him.
"You should probably start looking like you're having a good time and that you're happy to be here." Y/n recommended casually.
"You have the same expression as me, Y/n." Haruhi attested, slightly narrowing her eyes at her sister.
"Not really. I'm not the one who looks dead inside and doesn't want to be here. I'm honestly having a little fun." Y/n confessed and displayed a lighthearted grin, softly pinching both of Haruhi's cheeks and gently stretching them out, attempting to form a smile on Haruhi's face. "C'mon, show me that beautiful smile of yours."
Haruhi released a brief laugh as she lightly pushed Y/n's hands away from her cheeks. "Alright, alright, there. I'm smiling." She said, a closed lipped smile on her face which made Y/n grin, giggling freely at her sister.
"Aha! I saw that Kyoya, you moved a little bit!" Tamaki accused, pointing at the said male. "Now, get over here!"
'Huh? But I was the one who was moving...' Y/n thought but then shrugged indifferently. 'Oh well.'
"Open your eyes, I'm not the one who moved." Kyoya retorted, shooting a small glance at the wavy haired girl in front of him.
Y/n just shrugged her shoulders once more and mouthed, "sorry."
"Stop whining and get over here now!" Tamaki demanded.
"All right, fine." Kyoya eventually gave in with a faint sigh and walked towards his blond haired companion.
"Why can't this just be over?" Haruhi muttered, hunching her shoulders and going back to her prior outlook.
"Come on, Haruhi. Are you really trying to say that you're not having any fun?" Y/n asked, a persistent expression on her face as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"You're the Fujioka siblings, right?"
Y/n and Haruhi glanced to the side and identified Komatsuzawa holding a small open notebook and pen. Ukyo was holding up a lighting portable handle light reflector and Sakyo was holding a camera.
"You two wouldn't mind if I asked you a few questions, would you?" The young man with chestnut-brown hair requested with a minor, yet insincere smile.
"Um, sure." Haruhi answered, standing up straight.
Komatsuzawa transferred himself in between the two siblings. "So why did you two join the Host Club?"
"Well, we joined because we were kinda forced to." Y/n replied politely while Ukyo and Sayko stood a few feet behind them, the tall, dark brown haired male taking pictures of them in every angle.
"You're both honor students on a scholarship, correct?" He waited for confirmation even though he was aware that the two sisters were indeed scholarship students.
"Uhm, yeah, we are." Haruhi settled.
Komatsuzawa moved his pen across the paper of his notebook, scribbling down some notes. "So in other words, the fact that you're both members of this club is just another example of how the Suoh family loves to flaunt their power."
"Wait, what?" Y/n blinked, narrowing her eyebrows in slight bewilderment.
"Now if you two would, please tell me all about Tamaki's dark side... If you can help me out here I just might be able to set you two free." His smile disappeared as he leaned in closer to the two sisters, lowering his voice so no one can hear him.

"Uh, yeah, sorry. Tamaki-Senpai doesn't have a dark side." Y/n proclaimed. "He's just a bright second year who loves entertaining and making people happy."
Haruhi nodded in agreement. "Yeah."
Komatsuzawa let out a careless scoff. "That can't be right. You expect me to believe that a group of high schoolers actually enjoys playing these childish games?" He articulated as the hosts played another round of The Daruma Doll Fell Over.
Y/n and Haruhi glanced at where the Host Club boys were playing, then they turned their attention towards the chestnut-brown haired male with glasses.
"I don't think it's that weird." Haruhi expressed her opinion, plainly.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Komatsuzawa raised his voice in disbelief.
Just then, Hikaru and Kaoru appeared behind the three students and karate chopped the space between them. "Chop!" They both grabbed Y/n and Haruhi and began to run away along with Honey and Mori.
"Now come and get us!" The twins and Honey shouted, the short third year's giggles being heard as they all scurried away.
"Hey wait!" Tamaki yelled after them, his pinkie finger interlocked with Kyoya's as the two males stared back at the group that went farther into the distance. "That's not where you're supposed to cut, you know!"
- - - -
"Next we're playing kankeri! And you're it, okay Kyoya?" Tamaki simplified, pointing his finger at the said second year.
"If I must." Kyoya accepted the blond haired males decision with an uninterested tone.
Tamaki inhaled deeply, a spark flashing in his violet eyes. "Starlight kick!!" He hollered as he kicked the can with a strong force.
The can flew past the Newspaper Club at a rapid momentum--the can was so close to hitting Komatsuzawa that he let out a frightened gasp.
Komatsuzawa quickly redeemed himself and cleared his throat, his index and middle finger on his forehead. Little did he know that the can was knocking into some tree, making it collide against other trees as well, causing the can to travel back towards the direction of where the president of the Newspaper Club was standing.
The Host Club members, excluding Kyoya, began to rush around to find a hiding spot.
"If you honestly think I'm going to fall for the same trick again, you've got another thing com-aha!"
"President!"
The can crashed into Komatsuzawa's head, making him drop down onto the grass, his legs up as they split apart from one another.
Y/n contained her laughter once she caught sight of Komatsuzawa. She found his current situation humorous as well as the noise that escaped his mouth when the can impacted his head. 'Does this guy attract objects that are thrown or kicked? This is the second time he's been hit with something that Tamaki-Senpai has kicked.'
The brown haired girl just smiled widely as she instantly found a bush to hide behind. The bush was pretty big and had a lot of leaves that would obscure her.
'There's a possible chance that Kyoya-Senpai might find me and that this will be the first place he checks, but at least I'm hiding somewhere.' Y/n thought as she sat down on the grass, the bush hiding her.
Kyoya grabbed the dented can and crouched down. He began to count until he got to the number seven, noticing the Newspaper Club leaving. A faint smile appeared on his lips as he stood back up, glancing back at the three young men.
All of a sudden, Mori and Honey jumped down from the tree that was above Y/n, making the girl shriek as she jolted to the side.
"Oh my god!" She shouted, placing a hand over her fast beating heart. "Don't do that! You scared the living crap out of me! It feels like I had a mini-heart attack!"
"Sorry, Y/n-Chan!" Honey apologized with a smile and scratched the back of his head with one hand while his other hand held his pink stuffed bunny as Y/n got up from the grass. "But we need to go somewhere. C'mon!" He took Y/n's hand in his and dragged her to where the twins and Kyoya were heading, Mori following after them.
"Where are we going?" Y/n inquired once they met up with Kyoya and the twins.
"To the Newspaper Club." Kyoya answered simply as they all entered the school building and walked down the hallways.
"Huh?" Y/n mumbled curiously.
The Host Club, not including Haruhi and Tamaki, arrived at the Newspaper Club. The room was thankfully empty as they step foot into the Newspaper Club's territory, the twins taking a seat on the desk as Mori and Honey stood somewhere in the hallway so they won't be seen.
"I'm going to expose Tamaki for the twit he is." The voice of Komatsuzawa sounded from outside the clubroom.
Y/n's brown eyes widened in realization. 'Oh. So that's why we're here...' She made her way over to the side of the room, leaning against the wall.
The doors slammed open, revealing the three members of the Newspaper Club who paused their movements when they caught sight of the Hitachiin twins.
Kaoru hummed. "So, we were right all along."
"You two." Komatsuzawa spat in hatred.
"Well, I guess it was pretty obvious." Hikaru commented towards his brother's claim.
"The boss is the only one who hasn't caught on yet." Kaoru divulged in a low tone, his eyes narrowed expectedly with a dark smirk on his lips. "He can be really dense when it pertains to anything about himself."
"I should warn you, if you threaten him there will be consequences." Hikaru advised.
"Are you ready to have the Hitachiin's and every other club members' family as your enemy?" Kaoru challenge.
"I knew it! You're nothing but his lackies!" Komatsuzawa narrowed his eyebrows as he gritted his teeth together. "Tamaki's holding his parents' power over all of you!"
"That's not true." Honey calmly began from behind the chestnut-brown haired male, he and Mori standing near the doorway. "We don't hang out with Tama-Chan because of his parents." He smiled gently. "We love him. We all like being around him and that's why we choose to be here."
"He may be a hopeless idiot, but even so." Kyoya began, sitting on top of a pile of newspapers that were on the other side of the room across from Y/n. A small tug on his lips formed as he thought back to when Tamaki brought up the Host Club and asked him to join. They all were.
"Well?" Hikaru started, his smirk vanishing along with his brother's.
"What will you do?" Kaoru tested in a menacing tone.
"Please leave Tama-Chan alone, okay?" Honey vocalized.
Komatsuzawa growled and directed his attention towards the girl leaning against the wall. "Suoh forced you and your brother into his insufferable club! He didn't let you guys have a say in the matter! He just enforced you in it!"
Y/n stopped leaning against the wall, standing upright. "Yeah, he did force Haruhi and I to join the Host Club but-"
"Then why are you defending him?!"
"But," Y/n continued sharply as she narrowed her piercing brown eyes, "Haruhi and I like being in the Host Club. This is the happiest we've ever been in a long time." She glanced down at the floor, a soft smile appearing on her lips. "To be honest, I'm quite grateful. I'm glad me and Haruhi met these guys and became a host. I can't even imagine what we would be doing now if we never stumbled upon that music room and knocked into that expensive vase." She looked back up at Komatsuzawa, her small smile faltering. "Anyway, my point is that the Host Club is like my family. If you mess with Tamaki-Senpai, you mess with me."
Komatsuzawa let out a disgusted huff. "What are you going to do? You're just a commoner!"
Y/n stared at Komatsuzawa in the eyes, a shadow casting over the top half of her face. "Ever had a fist connect with your nose?"
Komatsuzawa flinched and his eyebrows twitched in anger. "I'll get you all. It's not just about him anymore. I'll write an article that'll ruin all of you!"
"Go ahead," Kyoya permitted, approaching the desk that had a first-aid kit, "be my guest. Although..." He picked up the first-aid kit and pressed a button that was located on the bottom side of it. A disk discharged itself from the small box and Kyoya held the item between his index and middle finger. "What do you think we should do about this little disk? You see, it's been here since yesterday. And it recorded everything."
"President." Ukyo whimpered, hiding behind Komatsuzawa.
"Just give up already." Sakyo said, copying Ukyo's actions.
Komatsuzawa stumbled down onto the floor, his knees hitting the hard surface.
"Let me explain it to you in terms you can understand." Kyoya proceeded as he walked towards the defeated club president. "You would do well to remember that the Ootori Group and the Hitachiin family alone own enough stock to remove your father from his position as president of the Komatsuzawa Publishing Firm. However. We would never do something like that--we are not like you. What we strive for is fundamentally different."
It was silent in the room until the twins sighed and got up from the desk they were sitting on. "Let's go."
The Host Club wordlessly agreed and walked out of the clubroom, leaving the three defeated young men in the room, advancing their way back outside.
"So." Hikaru commenced teasingly, him and his brother situated on either side of Y/n.
"We didn't know that you considered us a part of your family." Kaoru brought up with a mocking smirk.
Y/n visibly flinched, taking a step forward before turning around to stare at the five young men in front of her. They all had small smiles on their faces as they looked back at the female
"Uhhh." Y/n started but couldn't think of anything to say, a faint blush coming across her cheeks.
The twins and Honey suddenly pulled Y/n into a little group hug as Mori patted her head. Kyoya remained where he was, a small tug on his lips formed.
"Awww! Y/n-Chan, we consider you and Haruhi a part of our family too!" Honey smiled brightly.
A soft expression was displayed on her face. "Thanks, you guys."
- - - -
They all made it back outside and began to search for Haruhi and Tamaki. The sun slowly started to set as they sauntered into the rose garden maze.
Not too long after they went into the rose maze, they found the two other hosts that weren't existent when the six members confronted the Newspaper Club. The blond haired male and the short haired female were sitting in a gazebo that had vines with some roses around it, both of their heads were laying on the stone-like table.
"I found you." Kyoya made his presence known, one of his hands in his pockets.
"Woof!" Tamaki and Haruhi barked happily, lifting their heads up.
'Did Haruhi just...bark?' Y/n thought in mild amusement, slightly raising an eyebrow as a smile materialized on her lips.
Tamaki and Haruhi got up from the gazebo and began to make their way out of the rose garden maze with the others.
"Hm? Where's the Newspaper Club?" Tamaki examined, taking note on the absences of the three young men.
"They had to cancel. Something came up." The twins replied, inadvertently.
"They said they're going to focus on writing respectable articles." Hikaru claimed with his hands behind his head.
"So maybe they'll get by without having to shut down." Kaoru stated, glancing back at his blond haired upperclassman.
"Oh, really? That's good news." Tamaki commented.
"Let's hurry back to the clubroom and eat some cake!" Honey hinted gleefully on top of his cousin's shoulders.
"Yeah." Mori acknowledged in his usual monotone voice.
Tamaki smiled, looking at Honey and Mori. "That does sound good! Cake! Cake!"
"Kyoya-Senpai, I was wondering." Haruhi initiated and Kyoya hummed, granting her to continue. "Is the Suoh family really that big a deal around here?"
