Fairy Tail Building, Magnolia

So (Y/n), Erza and Natsu come back from the jail. Natsu was celebrating his release.

Natsu: "WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT FRESH AIR WOULD SMELL SO SWEET! I'M GONNA BREATH IT ALL DAY!"

He runs around fire spewing from his mouth.

Mira and Master are looking at him.

Mira: "Isn't he precious when he is excited"

Lucy: "I can't believe all that arresting was for show"

Gray slams his fist on his hand

Gray: "So she wasn't a sacrificial lamb, but a scapegoat"

(Y/n): "What the..."

Elfman trembles

Elfman: "You must be one heck of a ice wizard, even your jokes leave me cold"

(Y/n): "Exactly"

Someone shouts reminding Natsu about his fight with Erza. He runs toward her with his fist on fire only to get a hard punch in the gut, which knocks him down.

(Y/n): "Ouch"

Then (Y/n) gets back to his work and Erza comes and sits down besides him watching him work. Erza is about to fell down, but (Y/n) catches her by her shoulders and lets her rest on his side. All the guild members get knocked out except (Y/n) and master.

Then the source of everyone's sleep is revealed Mystogan.

He goes and snatches a quest from quest board.

Mystogan: "I shall leave"

Makarov: "Wait lift your spell before you leave"

Mystogan starts walking towards the exit counting backwards from 5 to 1, before glancing at (Y/n),

(Y/n): "Good to see you Mysto"

Mystogan: "Same here (Y/n)"

The moment he leaves everyone wakes up, except for Natsu who is still knocked out. Erza gets up and gets away from (Y/n) her cheeks a bit pinkish. I smile at her, (Y/n) continues on his work.

Everyone starts discussing about Mystogan.

Lucy: "Who's this Mystogan guy ?"

Elfman: "For one he's a contender for one of the strongest Fairy Tail wizard"

Gray: "Yeah and for some reason he doesn't want anyone to see what he looks like. So whenever he comes here to take a job he places a sleeping spell"

Lucy: "That's kinda creepy"

Gray: "Master Makarov and (Y/n) here are the only persons who've gotten a close look at his face"

??: "That's not true. I've seen him before"

(Y/n): "Oh he's back"

Gray: "Here's another contender"

Laxus: "Mystogan's just a little shy. You should all respect his privacy"

Natsu: "All right Laxus you and me right now"

Gray: "Getting your butt kicked once wasn't enough"

Laxus: "Yeah pal, if you can't win against the redhead. Why bother with me"

Erza: "What are you trying to say"

Gray: "No need to get all worked up Erza"

Laxus and spreads his arms and continues

Laxus: "I'm saying that I'm the guild's strongest wizard"

Natsu: "Then come down here and prove it"

Laxus: "You come to me little man"

Natsu: "With pleasure"

Natsu starts running towards Laxus and is about to go to the second floor. Suddenly a blue shot ricochets off the wall and hits Natsu on his head before he could jump and Master enlarges his fist and places on top of Natsu.

Makarov: "You're not allowed on the second floor Natsu. At least not yet "

Laxus: "Think you made him grumpy"

Natsu struggling under master's fist...

Natsu: "Shut up"

Makarov: "That's enough out of you Laxus"

Laxus: "The most powerful one isn't a chick, some hooded weirdo or a lazy hat wearing pretty boy you want to look how the strongest wizard looks like. You're looking right at him"

He points to himself

Laxus: "Speaking of pretty boy, you haven't said a word (Y/n). Scared much"

(Y/n) gets up from the holding weird iron like things in his hands. He points one upwards and it pulls him up in the ceiling. (Y/n) then uses the iron looking like things to the get to perch of second floor and sets him in the floor of second floor all while other members look at him in shock, whereas Laxus just smirks.

(Y/n) then gets out wearing a bag, puts it on his shoulder and is about to head down when Laxus gets in his way smirking...

Laxus: "What happened (Y/n), no nicknames today"

(Y/n): "Nah nothing like that sparkles. I was working on this thing it just kept me a bit occupied"

(Y/n) stretches his hand out for Laxus to shake, but Laxus doesn't move his hand at all. (Y/n) is about to step aside, when Laxus again blocks him.

Laxus: "I'm not letting you go till we have a rematch"

(Y/n): "You won didn't you"

Laxus: "That wasn't a victory, it was you trying to get out so you could catch up on you sleep"

(Y/n) just sighs and stands on the handrail and walks across it and then slides down it. Everyone are speechless at (Y/n) walking across the handrails of the stairs awhile even Laxus

Lucy: "Woah (Y/n) always manages to surprise me"

(Y/n):

Lucy: "I thought only Erza does Requip magic"

Gray: "(Y/n) might be lazy, but he's full of surprises"

Elfman: "Yeah he's manly"

(Y/n)'s usual clothes are changed for a white and gray jacket with black combat pants and black shoes, with his hat missing..

Makarov: "Council"

(Y/n): "Yeah"

Laxus: "(Y/n) think about what I had said to you last time, the offer still stands"

(Y/n) sighs and says

(Y/n): "You know sparkles you may act all tough but deep down inside you're a real softie"

(Y/n) wraps his arms around himself lazily to add extra emphasis, all the other guild members are barely able to hold their giggles. Laxus just scoffs at this. (Y/n) waves and walks out.

(Y/n): "See ya later guys"

Erza: "He always burdens himself and then sleeps everywhere"

I'm riding on my bike and to Mountains near Shirotsume town where there are rumors that a bandit group has been raiding nearby settlements with a huge flying ship courtesy of stealing. It's basically the same ship as that of the Blue Pegasus guild but this one has a closed deck.

Suddenly my thoughts go back to actions which occurred at the guild.

Mystogan such a mystery to the guild, he hides his face because he is a complete carbon copy of Siegrain complete with the red tattoo on face. His real name is actually Jellal and tries to avoid Erza as much as possible.

Then there is Laxus he might look arrogant and such, but he's not like that the guy is just misguided. Besides he's Pop's grandson hasn't only inherited his power but his heart as well.

As I'm thinking of all these things I soon reach Shirotsume town and decide to rest in a hotel.

I have to admit it has a certain charm to it. "Time to get to work".

I go to a travelers inn and check myself in, from there I take out my notebook and read the notes I have written about this job.

• Bandits have access to a flying ship

• Have access to magical weapons

• Reported none of them know how to do magic

I revise these notes and decide to go investigate further.

"My best bet would be a bar" and I make my way to whatever pub I can find.

After asking the receptionist about any pubs nearby he recommends one by the name 'One eyed dog', "Interesting name".

I soon make my way to the One eyed dog, sure enough I see it. It actually has a dog with eyepatch for a logo.

I make my way in the bar and sit on the stool, the place is bustling and see 2 guys who look like hired guns. "Man the least these guys could do was dressed up properly", I take a drink and sit nearby. Listening to their conversations.

Goon 1: "Man that ship makes getaways much more easier"

Goon 2: "Talk about it, but boss said to watch out for a dude wearing a suit and a hat"

"Good thing I wore different clothes, but gosh I miss my hat"

As soon as those goons leave, I put the payment on table with tip and follow those 2.

I decide to follow them from a distance until, they meet with their accomplice and he takes them away in a magic mobile. Before they can leave I place a tracker on the car and make my way back to the hotel for part 2 of my work.

Fairy Tail Building

Lucy is sitting at the bar of the guild with Mira.

Lucy: "Hey Mira let me ask you something ?What was the Master talking about earlier ? Why can't we go to the second floor ?"

Mira: "That area is reserved for advanced members of the guild. The jobs listed on request boards there make the one's listed down here as child's play in comparison. They are called the S-class quests"

Lucy: "S-class ?"

Mira: "They are jobs so dangerous that one wrong move could be your last. But with that risk comes higher reward. Master Makarov handpicks the wizard he thinks are capable of handling these jobs. There are only 6 people in the entire guild who are considered S-class, that includes Laxus, Mystogan, Erza and (Y/n)"

Lucy: "(Y/n) IS ALSO S-CLASS ?"

She remembers (Y/n) lying on his side and reading a cookbook.

Mira: "He's not just S-class, he holds the guild record for taking the most number of S-class quests"

Lucy: "So doesn't that make him the most powerful one in guild"

Mira: "Well the thing about (Y/n) is he doesn't care whether he's the strongest or not. He just wants everyone to live a carefree life like he does"

Lucy: "There's no question he's carefree"

Mira chuckles at this.

Shirotsume Town

The next day I wake up, go through the morning routine and have a breakfast. One of the things I did since coming here is stopped wearing my hat, it's actually become a key part of my identity.

I open my mobile to see whether my tracker is working, sure enough it works. Today I have to get done with this shit so I can get back home and rest.

The tracker leads me to a uninhabited valley where the bandits have set a base, seems like they're getting ready for a launch.

Random thug 1: "Some council doesn't no what we are capable"

Random Thug 2: "Hey stop talking get to work, boss wants a good harvest today"

He points to a man who seems their boss, who gets in the ship with his henchmen. Soon the ship launches into air. Some number of bandits are still available in the base, I take out my sniper rifle and take out all the remaining bandits down. "Well I can wait over here or do something really stupid" . My attention shifts back to the magnets he had made. I decide to climb the nearest vantage point, which is the bandit's watchtower to get a flying head start. I jump from the tower and unfolds the flaps in my jacket and use my magic to make the jetpack appear to get a flying start and going towards the airship.

Soon my wingsuit lets me be airborne, had to make this thing for things life these. I then use the jet pack on wingsuit to get above the airship. "Time for the stupid part".

(Y/n) suddenly closes the wingsuit and the jet pack to drop on the airship. He then uses the magnet to attach himself on the airship, he uses the magnets to get underneath the ship. (Y/n) takes out a mini-blowtorch and gets in the ship. He then welds it shut. In the ship a guard is moving in the ship doing surveillance duty, someone taps him onto the shoulder, the moment he moves his head he's met by (Y/n)'s fist.

More bandits start coming down due to commotion, (Y/n) takes out his silenced pistol and hides behind a crate

The moment the guards come to the floor (Y/n) is heading, (Y/n) takes out the leader and hides. Due to no sound coming from a source bandits start panicking, (Y/n) uses this to his advantage and takes out each of the bandits one by one getting closer to the staircase which leads to the control room.

After the last guard is taken out (Y/n) gets out and heads inside the control room holding the operators at gun point. The leader of the bandit comes out from his hiding place with a sword in his hand looking to stab (Y/n) from the back. The moment guard is going to stab (Y/n), (Y/n) sidesteps, twists and shoots the bandit leader in the head.

(Y/n): "Good thing these shots are not the lethal ones, otherwise it would have been messy"

(Y/n) then uses the back of the pistol to knock out both the operators and sets the ship's course back to Shirotsume Town where he had notified he military before itself. He ties up all the bandits together with a electrical wire.

Suddenly he gets a call from the guild from

his communication lacrima.

Mira: "(Y/n) are you there"

(Y/n): "Yeah what happened Mira"

Mirajane explains to (Y/n) how Natsu, Lucy and Happy took a S-class quest and Gray was sent to get them back but not returned.

Mira: "Erza is already on her way over there if you're..."

(Y/n): "Don't worry I got it, it was about the Galuna Island wasn't it"

Mira: "Yes"

(Y/n): "Mira tell Pops not to punish Natsu and Gray a lot"

Mira: *chuckling* Of course

(Y/n) had said this as he considers those 2 knuckleheads as if they were his little brothers, especially Natsu and as among the rare things they agreed on, they considered (Y/n) as their elder brother and knew his nicknames was a way of him showing his care for them.

(Y/n) gets out from the cockpit and starts heading towards the door of the ship and opens it. The bandits are shocked at this

Random Bandit: "What are you insane"

(Y/n): "Maybe, maybe not. However if I were you I would stop struggling that rope will give you a nice shock if you try to remove it"

(Y/n) takes out a remote and sets the wire on live. The bandits believe he's bluffing try to move only to get a shock for their troubles.

(Y/n) just sighs and opens the door.

(Y/n): "There goes my sleep"

(Y/n) jumps from the ship, unfolds his wingsuit and jetpack and starts heading towards the Galuna Island.

(Y/n): "Let's hope I reach their before Strawberry murders them"
