They literally grew up together, but he always took her for granted,never tried to understand her more as an adult when her emotions are more hidden and just assumed my Empress was cold hearted

I mean he of all people should know more how much my Empress hides her true feelings a lot of the time.

He should recognize the fact how much effort my Empress puts in her role and how she rarely shows emotions because of it

He only thought of what's good for him.As long as he gets what he wants,what's convenient for him,as long as things are in his favor,he will disregard the results of his actions to other people

If you're gonna use people,make sure you think of the effects of your actions to them so you can do something and utilize their situation.
