I woke up early in the morning and my ladies-in-waiting helped me get ready.

I immediately went to my office and brought all the books I need.

I told my ladies-in-waiting to leave my office and for them to have some time for themselves.

When they left,I immediately scattered the books in the table and dropped a few in the floor

Then I messed up the stacks of paperwork's and put some in the floor too

Then I took out some powder and applied some in my face to make myself look pale

When I was satisfied with my look,I sat down on my chair and started working.

Im gonna make myself looked stressed and I didn't tell my ladies-in-waiting so they'll think I'm working too hard too.

Them worrying while the garbage is around will help make the situation look worse

And so I started my plan by working on the paperworks on my desk

To be fair,I am actually stressed with this paperwork's.

I'm just... exaggerating it...to my favor

So I worked for hours straight and I would see the ladies-in-waiting taking a few glimpses at me all worried

That's exactly my plan.They would think I'm working too much and make my situation plausible

It was almost lunch time when someone announced that that asshole is here to see me.

Alright here comes my moment.I have to look stressed enough to make him feel bad enough to make himself stop from giving me that task

The bastard walked in my office and I put on my best stressed face on while not looking up at him to make it look like I am working too much and don't have time to do anything else

"Empress,what is going on with you?Your office is a mess.And you look so pale,are you working too much again?"

The jackass asked with a tone of concern

Ew...

But this is exactly what I'm going for

"I am fine,your majesty.I just have to finish my work"

"Are your ladies-in-waiting not doing their job to take care of you?"

The ladies-in-waiting immediately went inside and started gathering the things on the floor,some coming to my side.

"Your majesty,please take a break.You have been working till morning"

"Yes,your majesty.Its almost time for lunch"

"How about we take some break,your majesty?We can prepare your favorite tea and snacks"

The ladies-in-waiting were all panicking at my state which actually helps make my act believable

I looked up at the dipshit and I saw his worried face.

I just raised an eyebrow with tired eyes

"What have you come here for,your majesty?Do you need anything from me?"

He looked at me with worry,he thought for a moment and clicked his tounge and sighed

"I...came here to check up on you.I was worried you were overworking yourself again...and I was right."

"I can't help it your majesty.There are just too much work to do,especially with the New Years Ceremony,I have to finish this documents fast"

"Empress,I know you care about the Empire but you have to think about yourself too.You need to be in good health for the Empire"

"Your majesty,there is so work to do.They were all left to me to do.I can't expect anyone else to do them for me so I have to do them myself"

"Empress...honestly"the douchebag massaged his temples as if irritated with my stubbornness

Guilt trip and make him feel bad then make it look like i can't help it or do anything about it

"Empress,you are too stubborn.Take the day off and rest for the whole day.I don't want to hear you are working again in your office or in your room today"

"That's an order Empress"

And then he left my office and we were all quiet

The ladies-in-waiting all looked at each other then to me

I stood up and started walking to the door

"You heard the emperor,put those things aside and help me have some rest for today.I will be in my room"

I walked to my room with a few ladies-in-waiting behind me and when we're in my chambers,they immediately helped me take a bath and I deliberately used a lot of products and took my time in the bathroom.

I succeeded on my plan to avoid that embarrassing task and I got a day off.I might as well enjoy and endulge myself with the luxury in this life.

When I was satisfied with my bath,they helped me get finished and then get dressed after

After getting ready,my lunch was delivered and I had my lunch in my room

I told my ladies-in-waiting to leave me alone as I wanted to rest.

They looked a bit worried at my request so I reassured them

"I will not be working in my room.You've seen all the paperwork left in my office.I can't possibly go there to bring them here "

The ladies-in-waiting then left me alone and I immediately went to slouch in the couch

Gosh my back is in pain.All that writing really got to my back

Now that I avoided that tea party,they will probably get that woman to be that woman's lady-in-waiting

I couldn't care less, she's useless anyway

But I have to prevent her from talking about the letter though

I think she's gonna borrow money from me soon.Maybe I can negotiate with her and make her shut her mouth with that money.

I can't let that woman be used against me.

I know her situation but if she ever does anything against me,I won't hesitate to put her in her place.

Whoever they are,as long as they go against me, I'll give them hell for doing so

I'll do whatever it takes to make them suffer
