"He hasn't spoken to me in two days, Sash."

Your best friend chewed happily on salted french fries from across the table while she listened to you explain everything that happened with Jean that day.

Jean had been giving you an awful bout of the silent treatment ever since you moaned out Eren's name instead of his, despite trying to explain to him it was just an accident- that you had only just spoken to the man before hand and had his name stuck on your tongue.

It was a poor excuse, you knew that. You knew there was no coming back from something like this, as soon as the name of another man slipped from your lips in the heat of the moment. Alas, it was the best you could do. The damage was done, you could only hope that Jean would forgive your mishap.

You felt guilty for withholding some of the truth, but you knew if you told him everything- that you were in his room, smoking and falling asleep on his bed, he wouldn't have believed that you didn't actually cheat on him. Not that you could blame him, per se.

"Well, you did moan out another guy's name, y/n. I mean, I love you and all but that was kinda fucked up." Sasha mumbles between munches.

"I know," your head falls into your hands as you let out a sigh of frustration, "I just don't know how I'm gonna fix this."

"Give him some time to cool off, he'll get over it. You guys have been in worse fights than this, you always come back to each other."

She was right. Was that really a good thing, though? As of lately, you weren't so sure. Jean has been a part of your life for so long, the thought of being without him seemed almost impossible - yet, is this really how you wanted to live the rest of your life?

"I guess you're right. I just wish he'd talk to me." You twirl the straw in your drink nervously, until you look out the window and spot a familiar face about to enter through the restaurant doors.

"Fuck." You mutter under your breath, upon spotting Eren's tall figure sauntering through the doorway. Following closely behind him was a blonde haired, blue-eyed man who was slightly smaller in stature, but gods- he was pretty.

You quickly turn yourself away from his gaze. You weren't ready to face Eren again just yet, not until after things with Jean had cooled off. Especially not here in front of Sasha.

"Oof- hottie to the left," Sasha says, admiring the beauty that's undeniably standing infront of the cashier, "actually, two hotties."

"Shh!" You shush, her inability to speak in a soft spoken voice is especially apparent at the worst possible times.

"What? I was just - oh, shit. I think he heard me."

You wince, the sound of heavy footsteps marching your way sends a panic through your body.

"Y/n, thought that was you." Eren's cool, gravely voice sounds like music to your ears. Though, this is the worst possible time for this particular song to be playing right now.

"Mind if we join you?" he asks, already scooting in next to you before you can even open your mouth to respond. Per usual, he smells delicious - honey scented shampoo with hints of amber envelopes your personal space as he slides closer, his thigh brushing up against yours amidst the tight squeeze in the small booth.

Sasha looks at you, wide-eyed with both confusion and excitement as Eren's blonde companion joins in and sits next to her. He gives you a soft smile, pretty pink lips curled sweetly while you practically melt into the gaze of his ocean eyes.

"I'm Armin, nice to meet you." He says, his voice silky smooth as it rolls off his tongue. He sticks his hand out for you to grasp it - when you do, he grips your fingers delicately in his soft hands and gives them a shake.

"Y/n, nice to meet you too." You respond, smiling shyly at the pretty boy across from you. You watch hesitantly as he greets Sasha in the same manor, giving Eren a chance to lean into your ear to whisper something only for you to hear.

"You forgot your jacket at my place, you should come by later and pick it up."

It was delivered more as a command than a suggestion, but the way his minty breath fanned the shell of your ear caused tingles deep within your body. Though, the image of your fantasy that occurred with Jean flooded your mind, tingles soon replaced with a heated embarrassment.

"Oh, yeah - sorry about that. I didn't mean to just run out, but- " you sputtered, turning to face him.

"It's okay, I understand." He chuckles, green eyes smiling brightly. "You can pick it up whenever you get the chance. I'll give you my number so you can text me."

The lilt in his tone told you that he knew you weren't supposed to be doing this. You were clearly playing with fire - Eren burned brightly with the hottest of embers.

Everything in you was screaming not to, but the overwhelming desire to get to know him was much louder. He was a lot different than Jean in almost every aspect - Eren was rough, impulsive, maybe even dangerous... while Jean was straight-laced, cautious and careful.

Truth be told, the man intrigued you. You would be lying if you said you didn't find him fascinating, like an unknown species- something you'd never experienced before. Something you wanted to experience, in a way that you had never imagined-

You take your phone out of your pocket and hand it to him from underneath the table. The gut wrenching, sneaky feeling of guilt pooled in your stomach as you carefully watched Sasha chat away with Armin. She was pretty distracted, good news for you. Bad news though, was that your conscious was starting to berate you.

You loved Sasha, she was your best friend, but she was also Jean's too. As a matter of fact, she was his friend first, the two of you only becoming close after your relationship started with him. You weren't entirely sure if you could trust her to not spill anything , and you didn't want to put her in an awkward position to take sides.

It was too risky for her to see you retrieve Eren's number. Denial was pushing hard through your psyche, telling you that this still wasn't cheating. It isn't, right? He's your friend. You're allowed to have friends. Although, friends don't typically imagine the other between their legs...

It was just a weird thing that happened, it won't happen again. Just stay friendly - he probably doesn't even think of me like that.

You felt a tap on the top of your thigh, looking down to find Eren returning your phone, a smirk plastered on his pretty face. You swiftly shoved it back in your pocket, Sasha still none the wiser.

Armin and Eren share a quick glance between the two of them, when Armin speaks up after a peek at the shiny, silver watch placed expensively at his wrist.

"We've gotta get going, don't wanna miss class."

"Oh alright, it was nice meeting you two!" Sasha smiles innocently, before directing her attention to the plate of food the boys had hardly touched. "You gonna finish that?"

"It's all yours." Eren responded smoothly, giving Sasha a bright, exaggerated smile before sliding his tray in front of her.

"It was nice meeting you, y/n." Armin repeated, his gentle eyes and shy smile contradicting the wickedness that his aura radiated. There was something about the blonde that made you think he may not be as innocent as he seems.

"You too." You returned his smile as you watched the pair of friends walk off, Eren taking a moment to glance back at you and shoot a final wave goodbye.

"Okay, where and how the hell did you meet those guys y/n?! I didn't know you knew anyone that... attractive - no offense." She asked, exasperated.

You couldn't help but chuckle, you knew she didn't mean anything negative by it. After all, she did have a point. The four of you tended to stay in your own bubble - just you, Jean, Connie and Sasha. It's been like that for years. Finding out that you knew someone that she didn't, shocked her.

Especially someone like Eren.

"He's my neighbor." You answer cautiously, not wanting to give out too much information. She didn't know the full extent of the situation and you intended on keeping it that way. Luckily, Eren failed to mention his name - if he had, she definitely would've had more questions.

"Lucky you. If only you were single, huh?" She jokes light heartedly, as you laugh nervously along with her.
