"T-tae?" You couldn't believe your eyes.

This must be a dream

This must be a nightmare...

You thought to yourself, lowering your head. Tears couldn't built up in your eyes no matter; what thoughts crossed your mind. It was like you were sleeping and having a nightmare where you can't control what was happening.

It had to be a nightmare.

"Snap out of it Y/N, see? I told you... The one you trusted and loved the most was your biggest enemy" Jungkook spoke pulling you out of your zone.

Gasping you looked straight ahead and it felt like a track had hit you hard.

"Huh?!" You cried out not even knowing why you did as you stumbled back again. Jungkook tried to hold you but he forced himself not to do it. He wanted to help you, held you in his arms and say everything will be fine.

But could he anymore?

"Get... Get a hold y/n" Jungkook clenched his fist while somewhat consoling you. after all, He felt so bad to make you witness all of this.

But this day had to come one day. Right?

"Y/N... I..." Taehyung tried to speak but couldn't. He just couldn't get words together. He never imagined he had to face this situation one day.

He really had thought he can keep you in dark for forever. Foolish of him but again why would he prepare himself for something like this?

"It's not tae, right Jungkook?" You faced Jungkook and he hesitated seeing your face.

You had tears filled in your eyes and when you looked at him raising your head a tear prickled down your cheeks. Your lips trembling as your body shaking a lot. He saw you crying a few times but seeing this scene broke his heart so drastically.

"Y/N... Please get a hold of yourself... Please... He might be the one you loved..." He paused as those words really burnt his tongue. " The most but he is the one who took advantage of your love. Don't let him get to you now anymore" Jungkook said resting his hand on your shoulder.

Taehyung just watched. His eyes puffy from all the tears he shed. His nose and cheeks flushed red, his bangs sticking to his forehead due to the sweat of nervousness.

He couldn't just stand there and watch. But again what can he do now? He really wanted to bury Jungkook six feet under but his body wouldn't let him to.

You finally saw who he was. Who actually Kim Taehyung was.

Was it the end?

The end of you and him?

"Y/N? I'm... I'm not what you think I am-" Taehyung finally spoke and he swore the look you gave him, shook his soul so hard that he couldn't talk anymore.

Those eyes of yours were full of hatred and shock. Those eyes were full of that emotion people get when someone close to them... Betray them.

"You'll still lie... Kim Taehyung?" He gasped. You called him by his full name.

"Y/N... I'm not lying-"

"You are"

He couldn't say anything. He had no excuse. But a part of him still believed it was gonna be fine. In the end he did all of it just for you.

"Kim Taehyung it's game over for you. In a few minutes polices will be here. You can try to make a run for your life, if you want to" Jungkook said with a smirk.

For the first time, Taehyung was beneath, looking up to Jungkook. Which always used to be the otherwise.

Taehyung steps closer to you but Jungkook comes in front of you. You didn't give any expressions, you just stood there like a mannequin.

Nor Jungkook or Taehyung could sense what was going inside your head. But whatever it was, Taehyung knew it was positive for him.

Cause in the end love wins, doesn't it?

"Back away, or I'll be force to shoot you" Jungkook said pointing the gun at Taehyung now.

Taehyung's mind suddenly clicked on something. A smirk plastered on his swollen face which quite took Jungkook off guard.

"Y/N listen to me, do you think I'm the wrong one here?" Taehyung spoke and you just blankly stare at him by raising your lowered head.

Your eyes were hollow and dead.

"Yes,

And there, in front of you, he Kim Taehyung confessed all of his sins. But you didn't flinch or give any reaction as Jungkook or Taehyung expected. You just heard all of his bitter confessions and stood there silently.

"But you know why I did it?" Taehyung asked waiting for you to say even one word but you didn't.

"I did... I did it cause I wanted to protect you. Yes it might sound ridiculous to you or you might even think me as a psychopath but you don't know how monstrous these people are around you are" Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a disgusting face which Jungkook only shrugged off.

"I did all of this to make you realize how cruel this world is! No one loves or cares for you like I do. Trust me Y/N!" Taehyung shouted, taking a step towards you.

"Shut your crap, who's gonna believe it huh?" Jungkook rolled his eyes bitterly at the man in front of him.

"Oh is that so? Y/N, why did I kill heechan? Can you tell me? He tried to rape you and before that he acted like he was your friend, didn't he?" Taehyung asked but as again you just stood there looking at him blankly.

Something felt off but Taehyung never gave up.

"That hosoek and yoongi, what did they do to you? Blamed you for something which you never did and heck they call themselves your friend who love and care for you!"

"Now this Jungkook. Where should we start with?" Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a smirk.

Jungkook's skin irked under his gaze.

"He acted like he was your friend, gave you a shoulder when you needed, he claimed he will catch the killer and save you... But at what cost?"

"He used you Y/N, he used you to make me reveal myself. He fucking used you! He is just a monster who claimed to be your protector in disguise! Don't you see it?!" Taehyung took another step towards you but Jungkook pointed the gun at him and signalled him to back away which he obviously didn't.

"Oh, I'm a monster? Hoseok and yoongi, heechan they all are monster? What about you? What are you Kim Taehyung?"

"You won't understand bastard" he spoke with hatred in his voice.

"They might be monster in your eyes, in your world but to everyone else including Y/N, you're the monster Kim Taehyung." Jungkook said and the man before him lowered his eyes controlling his emotions.

Jungkook's words made Taehyung shocked as he looked at you who was still standing and only watching with dead hollow eyes.

"That can't be! You hurt her! You pointed the gun at her and used her you motherfucker!"

"Yeah I did hurt her but she was the one to give me the audacity. It was her plan all along" Jungkook said with a smirk which made Taehyung speechless.

staring down, he felt betrayed. But he felt angrier . Jungkook still used you, that is what he thinks.

"Y/N? You tricked me?"

And for the first time in a while you looked at him with a blink resulting a tear to roll down.

Wiping it off you nodded.

Taehyung's shoulders slumped as he parted his lips in dissatisfaction. breath hitched in his throat as he stumbled back.

"You knew? You knew I was-"

"I didn't knew... I just had a question in my mind. It was...

"I didn't wanted to... Expose you... But you're still a murderer. Even if you say it's for me" your words felt like knives on his chest.

"I always believed you, till the end. When the mask was off your face I still wanted to believe it wasn't you... I tried to convince myself I was just dreaming"

"But I guess it's real. And it actually doesn't even hurts, it feels like my body won't feel anything. I want to feel the pain tae... I want to... But I can't bring myself to do so" you clenched your chest and stare at him blankly.

"You know, it actually sucks... How you were the one who filled my life with happiness and love... Yet... Yet you're the one who was behind to suck it all off again making me feel nothing but pain in the end"

"I don't regret meeting you and falling in love with you... I just regret not to stop you from all of these... You say they are monsters... But Taehyung tell me one thing, do you really think they are the one who killed my happiness?"

Taehyung stood there, his mouth gap open. He couldn't answer you, what he did was just clench his jaw as he lowered his head.

"They are not the monster... The real monster was always you"

Taehyung raised his head as tears streamed down his face. He couldn't stop crying, he couldn't speak or move either.

You turned to Jungkook and he stare back feeling the urge to hug you and tell everything will be fine like he always do but in exchange what you told him shocked the man very much.

you asked making Jungkook and Taehyung both to look at you with a horrific face.

"No Y/N, you can't kill or hurt him. You don't have the authority sorry"

"I won't kill or hurt him, I just need it to protect myself. I wanna talk to him more closely. Please Jungkook... For once... He will not hurt me, if he says he loves and wants to protect me... He will not, trust me"

Jungkook hesitates at first but sighing he finally gives you his gun but he still had his another gun with him, in case something happens.

You took the heavy metal in your hand feeling scared to hold it. You never knew how heavy it was but now as you do, you were afraid to hold it. But telling yourself to be strong you held it tightly.

You turned to Taehyung who looked at you with a helpless look. A look which told you how much he wanted to just hug you and hide himself from everyone.

You walked to him with those dead and hollow eyes, your body just moving and it actually visualized how a dead walking person can look like.

"Hey" you spoke softly when you came a lot closer to him. So close that you can see clearly how scared and sad he was now.

"Y/N, please-" he tried to hug you but you pointed the gun at him.

He widen his eyes and felt a hard pang on his heart.

Was this even real?

"Don't touch me please, I will not be able to control myself, you know I still love you" those last words made Taehyung to cry again.

Tears rolled down his cheeks and you really felt the urge to wipe them off but again could you anymore?

"Why... Why.... Why did you have to see me... Why Y/N!" He cried out trying his best not to hug you.

"It's not your fault, seriously tae don't blame yourself, you did all of these for me right?" You said with a soft tone as your free hand caressed his wet cheeks which made the man surprised.

Jungkook was also surprised but he didn't say anything. Maybe you both can have your little left together moments.

"It was actually my fault..." You spoke softly looking down and Taehyung wanted to say you had nothing to do with it but you continued.

"Don't stop me please, I'm in fault for everything.... I know... I knew it from day one. But I never had the nerve to accept it..."

"Everything was falling apart, and If I tried maybe I could have stopped it. Cause in the end it happened for me... You did all of these for me. The plug of all these problems were never you..."

"It was me, it was always me" and finally your eyes were wet again as tears rolled down.

His trembling hands wiped off those tears but they won't stop no matter what.

"No Y/N... No you were not in fault...it was them...it was me..."

"See? You still believe it was them. That was what drove you to do it... Cause you wanted to protect me... Maybe your way was wrong but you wanted to do it for me.. for me tae... Yes for me"

"Y/N..."

"I won't say you're not in fault. Yes you are Kim Taehyung. You are in fault" you clenched your teeth as you stepped back a few times.

You looked at him with a disgusting look. It made him to feel the pain he never felt before.

"And you ruined my life" you said as you placed the gun at Taehyung's forehead.

Jungkook stepped ahead for stopping what was happening but your one hand bend behind signalling him to stop where he was.

And he stopped.

In fact he was kinda happy, to finally see you realizing who the real monster is.

And maybe he wouldn't mind if you kill him, he can always save you like he does.

And now Jungkook was waiting for you to kill him...

Kill Kim Taehyung.

"Y/n what... What are you doing?"

"Why? Now are you feeling scared? That's the feeling I felt every fucking moment, I felt scared who was gonna die next cause of me! Can you imagine the guilt I had to carry? Did you ever even cared about my feelings?!" You cried out pressing the gun more on his forehead.

"Y/N... Don't be silly, open your eyes and see who are the real monsters! Who wanted to harm you! I just wanted to protect my only close one... Nothing else" Taehyung said with his teary eyes which broke your already broken heart.

"Yes as I said... You did it for me right?" You said with a low tone.

Jungkook just stood there watching when will you finally press the trigger.

"Y/N?"

"You did it for me?" Your finger was finally on the trigger.

Taehyung smiled, a slight one which resulted rest of the tears to fall down.

"If it makes you happy... Then do it. Anything for you" he said with the same boxy smile.

You just stood there staring at him blankly as the finger on the trigger pressing one bit.

He closed his eyes when he saw the trigger was almost pressed...

And then...

He opened his eyes and the scene in front of him made him feel like the ground under his feet was snatched away.

"What are you doing?!" Jungkook and Taehyung both screamed out.

"You did all of these for me right? I'm the root Taehyung, Jungkook" you said with a blank look before tears prickled down hungrily.

"Put the gun down Y/N!" Jungkook said cautiously as he slowly stepped towards you.

"Tae I'm scared... I'm scared to carry another guilt of anyone dying... The guilt is already enough... But I can't blame you... You did it for me..."

"Y/N, put the gun down! I'll stop... I'll stop! I'll not harm anyone! Please don't! I can't live without you!" He cried out trying to get closer to you but couldn't as you step back pressing the gun more.

"And I can't live with the guilt anymore, knowing it was you all along.. it's harder than before. I pretended I was happy and with you I really felt happy at some points but.."

"But now knowing you're behind my misery—I can't live with the guilt anymore... It's just so hard"

"We can correct it all again! We can fix it together! Trust me!" Taehyung shook in his place, he felt he can collapse any moment seeing you like this.

"We can't anymore... Don't worry I'm sure about this...I was thinking about this from the moment I saw your real self..."

"And my heart and mind finally said it's okay. You are innocent... The root is me and if I don't exist then it'll be all fine... Just run away from here tae and live a new life"

"Y/N NO-" Taehyung widen his eyes as he ran to you but you stepped back before flashing a smile, with the swollen crying face.

"NO! Y/N PLEA-"

Jungkook and Taehyung stood there with tears in their widen eyes but they couldn't feel anything.

Specially Taehyung.

In front of his eyes, there was lying his loved one's body. His only loved one.

He fell on the floor drenching his pants with blood of yours.

He stare down at your lifeless face. He couldn't hear Jungkook's crying or shouting.

He couldn't hear the screams of polices and peoples.

He couldn't see anything but you in front of him.

His cheeks were coated with your blood. Like that very night.

Just like before, he couldn't do anything. No matter how hard he tried.

Was all he could say while looking at your lifeless body.
