"Tae?" I yawned before opening my eyes seeing the spot beside me was empty. a weary sigh escaped my lips as I sat up.

I really wanted him to be here...

But he has work so do I!

work– oh shit what's the time?! I started to rummage my room for the clock but forgot that the clock was hanging right on the wall.

Morning sucks you know?

I looked at the phone's time and guess what?

Fuck I'm late!

It was already past 11 am and Hoseok told me to be there within 11:30. I jumped out of the bed, feeling sore between my legs...

Oh no tae fucked too hard-

My late parents would be so disappointed at me... Wow now I miss them.

With still soreness between my legs I ran to the shower, then brushed my teeth and took a banana with me to eat as a breakfast. Yes pray for me.

I ran to the destination as it was close to my home. Huffing from the run I stopped in front of the cafe before opening the door seeing Hoseok was on the counter. He gave me a sunshine smile indicating I was all safe.

That was a close call.

Today is yoongi's birthday and that's why Hoseok told me to come early but my lazy ass had to do the otherwise.

"Woah Y/N. You okay?" Hoseok said, maybe concerned seeing me huffing like a psycho.

"Nope I'm okay. All fine!" I said with a tried smile.

"oh okay" he gave a hesitant smile before continuing, "Anyway yoongi will be here by 6. Let's start working! We have to decorate the entire cafe."

"Today won't we open?"

"No silly! Today is only for Yoongs!" Hoseok says with a tint blush on his cheeks.

oh about that. hoseok confessed to me a few days ago that he likes yoongi and honestly he didn't need to because who doesn't know that by now? hoseok acts all blushy blushy in front of him as if he's a teenager who found his first love. and I could tell, yoongi feels the exact same way for him.

I hope they confess to each other soon.

"Fine! Let's get it!" we both yelled in enthusiasm, starting our chores.

in a very short period, we three had gradually became very close. especially after that incident happened in the cafe. I thought hoseok and yoongi wouldn't like me working here anymore or at least things will become awkward but nothing sort of that happened. instead they asked me if I needed any help, they welcomed me just like before.

I couldn't find better friends than them.

I just hope this will stay like this.

I just hope they won't leave me...

I just hope I won't be left alone again.

I just hope yoongi will like our surprise today!

it was almost 6 and hoseok was done with making the huge birthday cake, the table full with delicious foods that everyone was already dying to dig in and the entire cafe decorated like a birthday venue.

Hoseok had told Y/N to bring her boyfriend if she wanted to and at first Y/N was very shocked. But Hoseok told her it was okay. He would love to meet her boyfriend in a more decent way.

Poor boy is too pure for this world.

And after receiving a call from Y/N he said yes even though he hesitated at first. He agreed to come for Y/N and...

"Oh there he is!" You exclaimed seeing Taehyung who entered the cafe, he was still in his office attire but it went well with the birthday theme. He brought Jimin with him as well since Y/N insisted.

there were a few friends of hoseok and yoongi as well.

"Yo Y/N!" Jimin ran to you, ruffling your hair.

"Hi shortie~" You teased him earning a soft hit from him on the head.

"I'm taller than you chimpunk" Jimin pouted, this time you hit him back. the cafe filling with everyone's laugh watching the two of you bickering like small kids.

"Oh hey! You must be Hoseok right?" Jimin asked after finishing his bickering with you and Hoseok in return hugged him.

"Yes! Nice to meet you. We are friends now! Okay?" Hoseok beamed while pulling away from the big warm hug.

"Of course man! You're sooo like me!" Jimin exclaimed, fist bumping the saying man.

"And you must be Taehyung right? We met that day... nice to meet you again" Hoseok smiled slightly towards taehyung.

It was unusual of Hoseok to not give his sunshine smile to the new people he meets but again it was reasonable.

taehyung pierced his eyes at the man, not a smile on his lips as he bored his gaze at the slightly smiling man. even though he looked like a gentleman with his office attire and perfectly combed hair– the missing smile did make the environment stiffen.

And then a soft smile appeared on his boxy lips.

"Nice to meet you too Hoseok. It's a pleasure and I deeply apologize for making a mess that day. I can compensate you if you let me" Taehyung let out with a soft look but his eyes gave a different aura, which hoseok understood very well.

He didn't like Taehyung for sure.

"ah no there's no need. It's okay. All in past." He said with a forced smile.

It was in Hoseok's nature that whenever he didn't like someone or something it's all on his face and Taehyung surely got it. But in return he only smiled.

you on the other hand were busy fighting with Jimin who was teasing you for your height after you called him shortie. so you couldn't hear the conversation between hoseok and taehyung.

"Where's the birthday boy by the way?" Taehyung asked, looking around.

"Oh he'll be here by 6"

"Hmm I'm eager to meet him" he said lowly with a dangerous smirk on his face.

A soft sound echoed in the empty kitchen.

With soundless steps he entered the kitchen by the window. A mask on his face and a cap to help him hide his identity.

He never imagined at some point in his life he had to do something like this.

Looking everywhere he came in front of the stoves. Kneeling down his eyes laids on the gas cylinder.

The tough man finally gulped down his saliva as his hand grabbed the pipe of the cylinder.

And breathing deeply he...

Plugged it out letting the gas fill the kitchen.

"Y/N, can you bring the cake out of the kitchen?" Hoseok asked you and you nodded still glaring at Jimin who was just sticking out his tongue.

You hurriedly entered the kitchen knowing it was already time for Yoongi's arrival.

As you entered the kitchen something attacks your nostril but the smell was not strong.

"What's this smell?" You shrugged off the smell thinking it was something coming outside of the window.

Biggest mistake of your life.

You took the cake and went out with a smile. Everyone cheered up as the cake was finally here.

"It's already 6! Turn off the lights!" Jimin turned off the light and you stood beside Taehyung and felt a hand resting on your waist.

"You look beautiful babe" he says snuggling his face in your neck and as it was dark you thanked God no one could see it.

"Tae... Not now please" you said softly but in return he kissed your neck and stood straight again.

"You-" before you could scold him, the door finally opens revealing the short man.

"Huh... Why is it so dark? Hoseok? Y/N?" Yoongi called out both of your name and in return it was silence before the lights finally turns on.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOONGI!" Everybody screamed together making the short man gasp in surprise.

"Wha-" yoongi couldn't finish his sentence as Hoseok hugged him tightly.

"Woah get a room already" Yugeom, one of Yoongi's friend said teasingly making both male blush.

"W-what! It's just a hug!" Hoseok defended himself shyly.

Everyone laughed and then celebration starts. Yoongi was overwhelmed with the surprise but something was eating him inside.

"Cut the cake!" Hoseok brought the cake in front of yoongi.

"Wait! I brought miyeok guk! I remembered it was my birthday and thought treating you guys... Even though there's a lot of people, there is enough for everyone. Let me just heat it up for everyone!" Yoongi said with a uncomfortable smile on his face which no one noticed properly.

"Aww that's so sweet. let me heat it up for you" Hoseok tried to take the bag from yoongi's hand but yoongi widened his eyes in fear.

"NO!" Everyone was silent seeing Yoongi this aggressive. realizing how loud he was, yoongi smiled faintly. "I mean it's my treat. Let me do this? I'll be back right now"

"That's so weird dude. It's your birthday, you should stay" Jimin said and yoongi looked confused not knowing him.

"Oh I'm Jimin and this is Taehyung, Y/N's boyfie" Jimin informed, gesturing his hand towards Taehyung who looked at Yoongi with a gentle smile.

Yoongi found him somewhat familiar. Like someone...

He didn't wanted to imagine.

"Hi... Thanks for coming" yoongi said with a small smile before looking at hoseok again. "Okay let me just heat it up! It won't take long! My treat" yoongi urged and Hoseok finally surrenders.

"Fine. Come back soon" Hoseok let out with a blush. Yoongi felt his heart skip a beat at that.

In the end it's all for his love.

Yoongi took the two big bags of food and kind of ran to the kitchen.

"I can't wait to finally eat" Jimin said and Taehyung poked his head.

"Jimin, you're so mannerless"

"You won't understand alien." Jimin said kicking his leg.

"I can't wait for Yoongi to come!" Hoseok says with an excited tone.

But his sunshine smile disappears when...

A sound came from the kitchen.
