"I'm Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook" he said showing off his teeth and They were just like a bunny's teeth not gonna lie.

He stepped closer and closer till he was facing both me and Taehyung. I saw from the corner of my eyes that Tae was looking at him furiously. But why? He wasn't even starting any investigation.

"And you must be Song Y/N" I nodded.

"How do you know her name? You wasn't there last night" Taehyung asked, still piercing his eyes at the man called Jungkook.

"Ahh you must be her boyfriend right? What's your name?" Jungkook inquired as his eyes met with tae.

"I asked you a question didn't I? By the way I'm Taehyung, Kim taehyung" he said as he smiled but It felt he forced it.

"Nice to meet you Mr Kim. And bout your question. My uncle told me about the incident and it's truly horrible how a person was shot from afar"

My heart sank hearing him. true, how can someone kill a person so easily? I know he was going to do something utterly inhuman, but law exists. they could have punished him.

I felt my throat going dry by remembering how the bullet pierced through him, how blood bathed him and the entire place surrounding his lifeless body– I felt the urge to puke again, and tae noticed it.

"Babe, are you okay?" He caressed my cheeks and saw the tears in my eyes glistening. He had now clenched his fist and glared at the man in front of him.

"Officer can you ask whatever questions you want and let yourself handle it. This guy is making Y/N uncomfortable" tae said as he glared at Jungkook.

"I'm sorry if my words made you uncomfortable Miss Y/N. But the process might be even harder to handle so be prepared" Jungkook said with his hands in pocket.

"Jungkook let your uncle talk now." Officer Jin spoke and Jungkook smiled before stepping behind.

"Let's go to the conference room officer" Namjoon said as he stood up.

We went to the conference room and took our seats. Taehyung sat beside me while his hand tightly grabbed mine. He was scared for me and that was clearly seen on his face.

"Don't worry Y/N. It will end soon" he whispered into my ear and gave a smile making me slightly smile too.

Jungkook sat across from me and tae. His eyes never leaving us. I still didn't know who he was. Was he an officer too? Or a detective. I got the urge to question him but tae did it before me.

"So Mr Jeon, are you an officer too?" Tae asked and Jungkook shook his head with a smile.

"I'm a trainee to become a detective actually and I'm here to help my uncle with the case" taehyung nodded still examining him.

And then the investigation started asking me questions which I needed to answer honestly. I'd no problem to answer them cause the criminal needed to be punished.

But the thing is.... Whoever had done it actually saved me by shooting heechan. He was doing my well. But it's still a crime. And I'll never support a criminal.

NEVER.

"So Miss Y/N. The first question is DID YOU SHOT HIM?"I widen my eyes at officer Jin as the question was completely unbearable.

"Why would I do something like that?! Heechan was there to ra-rape me... I was the victim right there!" I said as I could feel my body weaken.

"Then who shot him?"

"How on the earth would I know? If I knew it then I would've tell it earlier!" Jin had now sigh and asked me next question which was horribly painful.

"Or is it like that you planned to seduce Heechan and then brought him in the storeroom to kill him with your men?" I had lost it. I stood up as tears streamed down my cheeks. Taehyung had already stood up too.

I was feeling dizzy. How can someone ask these type of questions? Why would I do something like that?! And before I could speak Taehyung had already grabbed the officer's collar making everyone stand up.

"HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE SOMETHING ON Y/N! SHE CLEARLY WAS FAINTED ON THE FLOOR! YOU SAW HER DIDN'T YOU?! THEN WHY ARE YOU ASKING THESE TYPE OF RIDICULOUS QUESTION!" He was tempting with anger and I tried to make him back up. But he was so angry and strong.

I never saw him this angry.

"Mr Kim, calm down! I'm asking what I'm supposed to!" Jin let out as he tried to push him away.

"IF THIS IS ALL YOU'RE GONNA ASK THEN SHE WILL NOT ANSWER THEM!" He had now released his collar.

"You know the consequence of grabbing a senior officer by collar Mr Kim?" Jin uttered as he fixed his shirt, clearly angry.

"I'm sorry officer. He didn't mean it. Forgive him please" I said as I stood beside taehyung hoping Jin will calm down.

"I hope this won't happen again" Jin said as he took seat again and everyone did too.

"Let me ask you a few questions Ms Y/N" That Jungkook guy said as he took a seat again. "Be comfortable Ms Y/N neither your boyfriend will be throwing fists again" he chuckled and I saw taehyung clenching his jaw.

Tae was acting so weird. I couldn't figure out why he had changed like this.

"So Ms. Y/N, tell us the whole story" he demanded and I told them everything. All, how he had been acting all these days and took me in the storeroom forcefully. After hearing everything he went silent for a moment before speaking again.

"I'm sorry you'd to go through so much but did you saw who shot him? Like you noticed someone?"

"No, it was dark outside and there was no one."

"Okay, I'm done asking. Uncle you want to ask something else?" Jungkook looked at the man and he shook his head as no.

"I guess we need to investigate the entire place again. We will end here for now and we will call you again Ms Y/N so don't leave this city for a while" Officer Jin informed as he stood up. I nodded my head.

"We should get going now." Jin said and namjoon shakes hands with him and went outside with them.

Jungkook was leaving too but he stopped and came to us with a smile on his face. A Mysterious one.

"looking forward to meet again Ms Y/N. And don't worry we will catch the criminal soon" he said the last phrase looking at taehyung.

"Goodbye Mr Kim and Ms Y/N. See you guys soon then" Jungkook smiled again showing his bunny style teeth and left.

Taehyung had been clenching his jaw so much that It made me worry. What's wrong with him? They were simply doing their work. I know he's worried for me but we can't do anything.

We need to find the criminal.

"Tae... Calm down"

"They are going off their limits. How can they ask you something that ridiculous?!" He grumbled as his veins popped up on his neck, his face going light red. He was angry, very angry.

"Actually whoever did this.... Did everything right.... Whoever hurts you should get hurt more" he says lowly as he walks away.

Maybe lowly because he didn't want me to hear but I did. And I felt scared.

This wasn't tae.....

He would never want someone's bad.
