Hans, being a capable butler, controlled the situation, and requested the inn owner for another bottle of wine, just like Cale had ordered.
He looked around at the knights in disapproval after the knight from the Viscount's estate is gone.
He had seen the look on the young master when Mr. Ron helped him back to his room. He realized that young master Cale was even more fragile than how he acted.
Hans could guess that the reason for the young master's condition was because of the gaze that the knights and soldiers had given him.
Hans understood that the young master might not want the wine now, but he had to make sure every order was executed. And that was why he personally brought the wine and delivered to Cale's room.
What he didn't even dare to dream about was the fact that he heard Cale's cry, muffled as it was, he heard it.
'Just what was the reason the young master made himself known as a Trash, when he was this... this vulnerable?' Just as he thought about it, the door opened and revealed Mr.Ron.
"Do not tell this to Master Deruth, that's the young master's request. Better yet, keep everything you heard to yourself" Ron smiled as if he didn't just speak in a threatening tone.
"Yes, sir. I'll keep it in my heart till the day I died. But is young master okay? I'll delay the journey for today." Hans spoke with concern.
"I appreciate it as the young master had fallen asleep. I hope that tomorrow those knights will keep their eyes to themselves." Ron took the wine bottle from Hans and returned back to the room.
Hans watched until the door closed before he returned to make arrangements for the trip tomorrow as Ron suggested. He was going to protect that person, that was a promise Hans made to himself.

The next morning, Cale woke up in a better state, after let it all out with crying. Cale felt very embarrassed to let Ron see him cry like that.
However, it was a relief that he could control his feeling much better after that.

It seemed the side effect might be created by the gods for Cale to relief the excessive negative feelings he gathered throughout his two lifetimes.

Their next destination was Puzzle city. It was the city that was the center of the transportation of goods in the East, and it was pretty famous for the number of rock towers around the city.
At the moment that they were getting ready to depart...
Choi Han hesitated, he didn't know how to approach Cale right now. He wasn't sure when to approach Cale. He could only stare at Cale with sorrowful eyes, until Cale couldn't take it anymore.
"Choi Han, let's talk. Hans, informed everyone to wait, I need to have a talk with Choi Han first." Cale sighed, motioned Choi Han to follow him to the room he used before, so they could have a private talk.
Cale sat down on his bed, he didn't look at Choi Han at all, as he waited for Choi Han to break the silence.
"Cale-nim" Choi Han kneeled with one knee on the ground in front of Cale, looking up at him.
"W-What are you doing? Get up." Cale tried to get him up but he wouldn't budge. "Can't we just talk normally? Should I kneel with you to talk face to face?"
Choi Han panicked and got up immediately. "Cale-nim"
"Speak. Say what you want to say. As long as you still fulfill your end of the deal, it's fine." Cale crossed his arm and sat on his bed again.
"To be honest, I really thought that you're going to use the dragon for something bad." Choi Han confessed.
Cale huffed in anger. "So?"
Choi Han smiled apologetically. "But when I thought deeper into your words, I realized that I'm a fool to even doubt you. The you that I saw and knew of is the one I should believed in and trust.
For you to be honest with me, even though I might misunderstood you and I really did, when you could just lied about it. I regretted even doubting your intentions. Please forgive me."
"..."
"It's okay if you can't forgive me, I used my action to show you my sincerity and loyalty."

Cale sighed. "I never blame you, it's not your fault to doubt my intentions. I guess you handled everything properly since the knight yesterday only had suspicions and no clear evidences."
"Yes, I did create tracks to lead to the West. But..."
"But what?"
"The villa was quite chaos when I returned there, and a part of the exit route we took from the cave was blown up, the surrounding was a mess as well."
"It must be the Dragon." Cale said with certainty.
"Oh. I see. He's very clever."
"I told you dragons are the smartest beings, right? Now can we go?"
"Are we splitting up at the next city?"
"Yes. It's called Puzzle city."
"I'll do the task you gave perfectly."
Cale smiled. "Yes, I depend on you with that."
*************************************
They journey started right after the talk. It went smoothly, if you didn't consider how the knights and soldiers all avoid looking at Cale whenever he came out for meal.
Cale had noticed the strange atmosphere, but he had no way to do anything to change that. Cale could only choose to stay in his carriage more.
Cale had set a pretty filled schedule because of the one day delay. He needed to have enough time in Puzzle city. He needed to make sure Taylor Stan won't get the Vitality of Heart before him.
Even though Vitality of Heart is a Restoration Ancient Power, it couldn't help Taylor Stan with his crippled legs.
"Cale, are we camping out today?" On asked, looking out the window at people preparing tents and food.
"Yes, On. We will be camping everyday. At least until we reach Puzzle city."
"Will you eat outside with us tonight?" Hong asked, young as he is, he also noticed why Cale stayed in his carriage to eat instead of outside.
"Do you want me to? I guess I eat outside with you guys then." He patted Hong's head.
"Yay!"
"Cale, I heard from Hans earlier."
"Hans said, if you made a wish at a rock tower in Puzzle city, it will come true."
"He said the rock towers were pretty."
"We want to go with you, but it's okay if it's too difficult."
Cale chuckled. Hans still didn't know that the siblings were Cat Tribe kittens, so he kept saying all sorts of things in front of the kittens. "It's not difficult, but what kind of wish do you have?"
"I wish my new dongsaeng could join us!"
"The Dragon? Did he even follow us? That wish needs the consent of the being involved. I can't help you with it."
"But will you be okay with it if he follows us?"
"Well, he will be just like you two. He will be the children under my care." Cale answered sincerely. "Okay, let's go down to eat. You must be hungry."
On and Hong smiled at the answer.
"Yes, please."
"We're starving."
No one had noticed the invisible Dragon who was on top of the carriage listening to the warm-hearted conversation.
*************************************
Cale had spent the night in peace, but a ruckus outside woke him up. He called out to Hans. "What's happened?"
"Someone left a dead deer at the border of our campsite."
"Ah? Let me go see." Cale smoothed down his bed hair and went to check the deer that Hans reported.
There was a drawing of a fork and a spoon, right below the deer. He turned to look at the accomplices who help him save the Dragon.
The kittens siblings in Choi Han's arms, as well as Choi Han himself, were all smiling while looking at him.
'He really follow us? Wow.' Cale smiled as well. "It's okay, Hans. Take this to Beacrox, so everyone could enjoy it."
"Oh, Mr. Beacrox is gonna be so happy to get fresh ingredients."
Cale then turned his head towards the three smiling individuals. "Let's pretend not to know until he decides to show himself. Yes?"
""Meow~""
"Roger that."
And that's how a new ingredient was delivered to them every meal time Cale and the crews camped outside. Rabbits, wild hogs and all kinds of fruits...
'Hmm, he's training his magic while returning the gratitude for saving him. I wonder when will he comfortable enough to show himself to me. What a cute child.'
