Cale left the box inside his room before headed toward kitchen #2 where Beacrox worked.
He didn't see anyone on his way to the kitchen. But Cale still cautiously peeked inside, he only entered the kitchen when he saw that nobody was there.
"Now that I'm here. I feel a bit scared. He won't beat me if he knows I try to steal the foods, right?"
Cale looked around for so long, but unfortunately for him, there were only raw ingredients and fruits.
"I guess I eat the fruits for now." Cale mumbled to himself sadly. He patted his stomach that had been grumbling for a while now.
Cale picked an apple, and turned to leave the kitchen, but Beacrox had already entered the room.
Cale froze with his mouth wide open as he was about to take a bite of the apple. "Uh...."
He quickly put the apple down at its original place, inside a basket.
"So you decide to eat your lunch now? You shouldn't skip it in the first place if you're going to come and steal food." Beacrox picked the apple, peeled and cut it in quick succession.
He placed it in front of Cale. "Eat this first. I could hear your growling stomach a mile away."
Cale's face flushed. He ate the apple obediently. He actually didn't mind the scolding, it was better than being ignored truthfully.
'What am I going to do with this kid?' Beacrox sighed. "Young master, don't try to come and steal food again. Just order someone to find me."
"Yes yes, whatever you say, Beacrox. I'm starving, could you please hurry?"
"I thought my cooking is trash and awful to eat. Why would you come to my kitchen to steal food?" Beacrox said casually while making a few simple foods.
He had only heard those words from the servants serving inside the dinning room. He knew that those servants would most likely exaggerate everything Cale had done.
He was just saying it to see Cale's reactions...

".....I..." Cale shut himself up. 'I never think like that though. Even though I made sure you weren't there when I said it, it seems you still heard about it. My Trash acts just come back to bite me back'
Beacrox thought about what his father told him. This young master really seemed different from usual. 'Father is right, his reactions become interesting to watch. I wonder what brought the change.'
"Enjoy your lunch, young master" Beacrox served the hot meal he had just cooked and collected the empty plate of apple to be washed.
"Thank you for the meal." Cale started to eat without looking up. Until a drink was put in front of him.
"Right, where's Ron?" Cale took a sip at the drink without looking. He nearly choked at the bitterness. "Lemonade"
Cale grimaced at the taste but decided to empty it in one big gulp. 'Damn Ron, you're so petty.'
"Young master, no matter how hungry you are, you should have changed your clothes first." Beacrox was looking at Cale's clothes with disgust.
"Wait till my father saw this. Where's the injury?" Beacrox had medicine and bandage ready.
Cale shivered thinking about Ron's face. He had just remembered how he wiped his blood on his clothes. "I-It's already stopped bleeding."
Cale raised his finger to show Beacrox.
When he was about to drop his hand back down, Beacrox caught his hand and clicked his tongue.
"Stay still. You might get infected if you don't clean the wound properly. I'm sure father would have love to talk about it with you."
"It's just a small cut, not a big deal." Cale grumbled softly in complaints. He enjoyed getting care for. It hadn't been feeling like this since 'them'.
(Tsuki: it's Lee Soohyuk and Choi Jungsoo. If you're wondering who.)
"Why don't you take care of yourself?" Beacrox washed the wound, applied medicine and bandaged the cut.
"You really should go change." Beacrox grunted, he seemed to reach his limit.

"Oh, thanks Beacrox." Cale quickly step away from Beacrox, he knew Beacrox was a clean-freak. It was already unbelievable that he endured his messy appearance for this long.
Cale hastily returned to room, but his luck today was bad. He heard Ron's voice behind him just as he was about to reach his room.
"Young master"
Cale paused and clicked his tongue before he continued walking without turning to look at Ron.
"Young master, are you injured?" Ron asked in concern, following Cale. He smelled blood.
"I'm fine. It's just a small cut. Why are you and Beacrox being such a worrywart?" Cale grumbled. "Right, tell Hans to inform my father that I need a spatial bag. The treasury should have one."
Cale entered his room and close the door before Ron could see anything.
Ron sighed in defeat. "In the past, he distanced himself and pushed everyone away. Now that he finally stopping doing that, why do I feel even more worried? I really can't leave him alone."
Ron went and informed Deruth of Cale's request, instead of going to find Hans. Deruth has given him this special privilege, as long as it was Cale's request, he could bypass the deputy butler Hans and reported directly.
Deruth thought that he wasn't a good father to Cale and Ron was the one who had been next to his son for the longest time.
Ron, who finally got the spatial bag, returned to Cale's room. He knocked the door. "Young master, I got the spatial bag you requested."
"Great." Cale who had changed his clothes, took the bag from Ron and put the Enchanted box inside. "I'm going now. You don't have to follow me."
Ron frowned "... I understand. Please take care of yourself"
Cale walked all the way to the front door, with Ron followed behind to send him off.
Cale spoke what he wanted to say quickly before escaping. "Ron, your lemonade needs honey. Remember to put some next time."
Ron was stunned at the complaint. He laughed right after. "He's changed. That's a good change."

Tsuki: phew! This chapter is shorter than before but I wanna show that Beacrox and Ron care about Cale. He's part of their family.
I love Beacrox being a big brother and the conflicted Cale who awkwardly tries to change but doesn't really knows how to. He could only show himself to those closest to him.

Explanation: The story so far has mentioned that Ron and Beacrox in the past life had chosen to leave with Choi Han, just like in [the Birth of a Hero]. But we can see that Ron and Beacrox do care about Cale in this story of mine.
So the question is, if they care for Cale, why would they leave Cale right after he got beaten to the point of being bedridden for a long time?
First reason is with how Cale is from the past life, being a loner and keep distance from everyone, even pushing people away by acting like trash, it's hard not to be mentally exhausted when you care for someone but keep getting negative responses back.
Second reason is like explained in the original novel [Trash of the Count's Family], Ron and Beacrox who feel the aura similar to the secret organization from Choi Han, decide to follow him for two motives, one is to find out more about the secret organization and revenge their family, another is to keep the secret organization away from Henituse family, in case they were seen as their weakness.
Ron and Beacrox care about Cale so they choose to leave even if they know Cale will definitely hate them. They couldn't approach Cale again even when they hear the news that Cale's family had died leaving him alone because they are too far involved into the fight with the secret organization.
For the present time, Cale changed. And that's how Ron and Beacrox feel that at least they weren't just one-sidedly given the affection.
I think that's all for now. I hope I answer the question that no one noticed or asked. Bye~

Giantslayer
Synopsis: Alain is a fledgling Giantslayer, enhanced individuals capable of killing deadly giants. But these giants are not big, they are what ancient humans would refer to as mundane animals or beasts. 'The Final Curse' as many humans call it, was a curse that shrunk down the entire human population to the size of small rodents. When the curse first occurred, the majority of the human population was eaten by beasts who are now of towering heights and sizes. But their abandoned gargantuan structures were not built for naught, the remaining humans retreated back into their now giant buildings and rebuild societies and nations inside of them. Follow Alain in his quest to right the wrongs done to his past and hunt down the elusive and mythical Elder Giants, giants capable of intellects and speech. Are they real? Alain certainly insists so despite no one believing him. But perhaps it did not matter, they were real enough to him for what they did to his family. A/N: I'm pretty new to writing creatively so I hope to improve as we move along the story. The prose I use is still fairly simple and 'plain', but I am also new to literature in general so I am hoping to improve my vocabulary as well. It should also come under no surprise that I am a non-native English speaker and writer as well. With that said, I do appreciate constructive feedback. Please don't be overly mean at least. All the chapters are rough drafts that will be edited in the future. The cover is by this user from pixiv: https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/4545042

Recovery of a Life
The prince of a kingdom was erased from the world. His very existence an enigma. Follow Xopil as he forces his life into a world that refuses to acknowledge his presence. I tried to write a novel without including all the standard things you find in certain genres, or if it is included, I hope it's at least a fresh take on it, this includes me breaking the fourth wall, probably too much. I'm wondering if that helped with humor at all, and also reconsidering if that should be a part of the story. I'm going to be rewriting every chapter at this point... and that chapter I'm extremely disappointed with could likely be deleted if not redone entirely. Now that this story is marked 'completed', I'll be going through each chapter and fleshing out the story a bit, as I found it severely lacking, and I've been saying to myself "I could have done more with that." way more often than I should be. And that speaks to my own dissatisfaction with my writing. I make no warranty-express or implied-as to the quality of these chapters, or the story as a whole. Cover art by Roman Valeyev
