《How Cale Henituse Changes His Future》Prologue

Note: It's my first TCF fanfic... and I know it'll be very long... but as of now, while I have motivation to write it, I'll just write it first. Enjoy and give opinions!
******
Cale Henituse is a very famous person throughout the entire Kingdom of Roan. You might ask why? Is it because of his talent, his charisma, or maybe he has done something beneficial for his kingdom?
Though it is very sad to know that the answer to all that is No, because Cale Henituse's reason of being famous was because of how he behaved; stopped his lessons from the age of 5, throw tantrums every time he was outside from the age of 10, started to drink at 15, throwing bottles at random people while drunk,etc...
Everyone has always compared him to his father, his stepmother as well as his step-siblings, who were known for being 'proper nobles'.
No one outside of the family ever tried to understand the real reason behind the behaviors, as they were all assumed that his mother's death is the reason.
Count Deruth had learnt about the reason but he couldn't do anything to change his son's mind and could only let him do whatever he wanted.
One day, when Cale Henituse was 18, he got beaten up to the point of near-death. That could be seen as the starting point of his despair after his mother's death.
His closest servant left with the one who had beaten him. His stepbrother got injured by the bomb terror incident. War started everywhere. His family was gone one by one.
In an attempt to revenge his family against the leader of the organization that had lead the war all across the world, Cale had chosen to join the army.
At the end of the world, he lost all hopes when even the heroes recognized by kingdom couldn't defeat the leader, who announced himself as White Star.

To make things worse, White Star seemed to lose control after seeing Cale Henituse. He launched his attack to kill Cale Henituse who was stunned by the pressure of the attack. However, before the attack could harm Cale, he disappeared from the place.

When Cale opened his eyes again, he was inside an empty space with nothing but darkness. A voice sounded from the darkness.
"God of Death? Am I dead? Wait! Promise? With who?" Cale asked in confusion.
"M-My mother?"
"I...I... I'll trust your words since it sounds like my mother would actually do that." Cale said in resignation. "Can I ask one question?"
"Will I ever see my family again?" Cale asked timidly, which is very different from the usual Cale who is known as Trash.
******
: that's it for a prologue... uh it's kinda hard to insert the reason Cale did what he did in the prologue, hehe....
– Cale somehow can't directly show his like and affection toward anything. The things and people who on receiving end of Cale's direct affection always end up in accidents.
– Only his mother knew the real reason behind Cale's "cursed"
– The reason will be explained later...
Well, I've tried... I know the characters are way OOC too.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
