So I hope you all enjoy my loves and thank you so much for sticking with this story for so long!! Oh and before I get to the disclaimer I wanted to give an announcement, that when I grew up watching Yugioh 5Ds I grew up watching also the Beyblade Metal Saga series and will be writing a fanfic of that too!! So if anyone is interested in that, look for that book hopefully sometime soon!!
Anywho, remember I don't own Yugioh 5Ds, just Cathy and the OCs!! Hope you all like it and vote, and/ or comment if you wanna!! Have fun!!
Last time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories! Yusei and Akiza's duel had ended and so did the curse of the Black Rose! Akiza is okay and after some words and apologies, we reconciled and I'm so glad to have her back as my friend!! And with Yusei’s words of encouragement too, she agreed to help us defeat the Dark Signers! Then that girl Mina showed up saying she had footage of the Arcadia Movement she wanted to show. While Yusei and Akiza watched that, Luna, Leo, and I with Jack following us, had to say bye to Tanner, Yanagi, Sakura, and Okita. It was hard to say bye to them after the last time I said bye to a friend... but instead we made it a "See you later". Then after a heart to heart, kind of, conversation with Jack we walked back to hear from Mina that the big man Goodwin wants to meet with us! Oh boy wonder what this is about...
We all rode in the limo that was driving the group and I to Goodwin's mansion. We've been driving for a good ten minutes and while the limo moved to our destination, I was already stealing some of these limo snacks! With Leo being my accomplice!
I had my backpack on my lap with him sitting next to me. He would hand me the food and goodies and I would find a way to fit ALL of them in here!
"Cat, are you sure you should be taking those?" Akiza asked in front of me.
Still trying to shove the 6th party size bag of chips in between the box of chocolates and my duel disk, Luna chimed in with the psychic duelist on the other side of her brother, "yeah what if you two get in trouble?"
"You worry too much Luna! Cathy and I are just... lightening the limo to go faster!" Leo assured not so greatly, yet I wasn't paying too much attention cause it was almost fitting in without popping.
"Almost... got it... Yes! Finally!! Alright hand me that apple cider Leo!" I cheered while my partner in crime handed me the large bottle of apple cider, thus began my next battle to fit that in my backpack!
This was a rich looking limo with a freaking snack bar, like heck I'm not gonna take advantage of it!!
"Do you even need all that." Jack asked though I wasn't even looking at him cause this thing was being so difficult with me right now!

"Hey if Goodwin didn't want me to take anything, he shouldn't have picked us up in a food filled limo! Yusei can you hold this open to help?" I just stated simply while the boy I asked to help aided in my thieving, probably just not questioning it at this point. I put my backpack to the floorboard of the limo and bringing it closer to Yusei so that he can help open it wider as I stuffed the bottle inside. "So how much longer till we get there anyways?" I asked Mina who was watching me so confused.
She immediately shook her head to snap out of it and answered my question. "Um well we actually should be arriving shortly." Mina stated pointing out the window and we all looked outside to see that the limo was driving on a long bridge over a large body of water!
It wasn't the ocean that's for sure, but probably a large lake. Where there was a freaking island with a mansion right in the middle! What the heck!! How rich is this dude! And what the heck is he trying to hide cause if he doesn't have a lot of friend nor isn't married, then there's gotta be a cemetery in the backyard somewhere.
Yeah I'm positive he has a haunted mansion!
"Woah!!" Leo, Luna, and I all say in wonder as we drive closer to the main building.
I looked back at Mina pointing to the freaking palace, "I'm sorry what exactly does Goodwin do to get this castle, and what college do I need to go to to make that much money?"
Is it 'Creepy People University'? Nah I think that's where Sayer went.
I thought laughing a little to myself and continue watching out the window.
The limo finally stopped at the entrance of the place and we all began to get out. The twins got out first as I had a bit of trouble getting my now more heavy backpack with the snacks I stole- I mean, borrowed, weighing me down!
When we all got out, I stood in between Yusei and Jack, as Mina and Akiza were on their other sides, and Luna and Leo stood in front of us. I smiled watching as they both still looked in wonder.
Leo was the first to express it, "wow!! Look at this place! Does Godwin's mansion seem like its own country to you! I've never seen anything richer in my life!"
"Wait a second..." I began making him look at me as I pointed a finger at him, "Leo don't you live in a freaking penthouse with your own private pool?!"
The boy just smiled innocently at me chuckling not giving me any sort of answer, as the front door began to open up. From beyond the entryway coming down the hallway, I knew could only be Goodwin.
I was right when as he got closer he began to speak to all of us. "Thank you all for coming. I am glad that Mina was able to gather you all and bring you here." From the corner of my eye, at the mention of her name, I saw Mina bow a little then looked back at Goodwin who kept going. "I've been looking forward to this moment for awhile. All four signers here gathered at once. It would be a great honor to serve you all at my home."
Yeah I ain't buying whatever he's selling that's for sure. And neither was Jack next to me as he voiced his opinion before I could, "yeah right. The only thing you've ever served is a tennis ball."

"Pft-!!" I had to immediately cover my mouth to stop myself from bursting out laughing!! Okay now I can see how we got along when we were younger!
"Jack is right though," I overheard Akiza whisper to Yusei and I as I looked back at her. Glad to know she's not trusting of him either, "Goodwin's manipulated and played us for a long time now."
"Yeah, he's manipulated all of us into joining the Fortune Cup just to see who was and wasn't a signer. And need I remind you what happened there during it?" I added on to the conversation with Akiza nodding at me.
Yusei looked back between the both of and then glanced ahead back at Goodwin. "Your both right, but so far Goodwin seems to only have the answers of what's all going on and what to do."
Before I could shut my big mouth when the thought came to me, I muttered under my breath, "yeah well answers get people more hurt. What else is there to know? Dark Signers bad. Crimson Signers good."
I looked back at Yusei after saying that as he was just looking at me. For a spilt second I thought he was going to look upset, but that wasn't what he looked like. While he still had his calm expression like usual, there was an expression in the shift of his brows and eyes that said almost with no words, he can see what I was feeling.
Looking away, I took a deep breath to calm this annoyance and anger, then felt his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry. If Goodwin has a plan to take out the Dark Signers then we have to listen to him. But that doesn't mean I trust him completely."
"It'll be okay Cathy, as long as we stick together." Akiza tried to assure me which did a little but I still can't help but be bitter.
I sighed before nodding and looking up at Yusei, "alright. Looks like we're both beside you on this." He gave a small smile and nodded which made me smile back at him and Akiza. Though I still turned back at Goodwin with my arms crossed, muttering one last time, "but if he double crosses us, we find a new method to take them down."
Yusei took his hand off my shoulder and hummed in agreement watching our 'host' look at all of us. No one was saying anything till Leo came up front and called out what we all were thinking.
"Alright why did you call us all here? What do you want with us that's so important?"
Though Goodwin just looked down at the poor boy, and that's not just because of his height, but he looked at Leo cold with his eyebrows furrowed. "And what are you doing here. I believe I asked for them, not you. So you should just go home."
Oh he did not just say that my self proclaimed adopted son!!
I stomped immediately over to him, my blood boiling, especially when I saw how dejected and felt the sadness coming off of Leo. "Are you serious?!" I growled out a little not even once afraid of this guy who could probably use his money to make me disappear.
There was a little breeze on my hand that I'm pretty sure was either Yusei, Jack, or Akiza trying to stop me, but it was too late as I was already up in this guy's face. "Last time I checked my arm, it wasn't glowing red which means I ain't a Signer either! Yet you seemed really invested in the crazy things I can do, or do I need to remind you of that Tournament you came up with?" I said bitterly feeling that burning sensation in my chest, with my index finger pointing at his. "So you let Leo and I come with, or I go to the press."
'.' The voice in my head said suddenly but I just ignored him.
Even if I was smaller compared to this guy, I was not backing down! I am not in the mood to deal with his attitude and I'm sure as heck he didn't want to deal with mine.
"Cathy..." I turned a bit to see Leo looking up at me surprised but he felt happy and grateful. He had also something like admiration in him that I just couldn't help but smile. Maybe I am a superhero to him or something.
"Hey us non-signers gotta stick together, am I right?" I told him with a wink.
Leo gave a grin that meant his mood was getting better even if he was still a little hurt. "Right!"
Then my also self proclaimed adopted daughter Luna came in and I watched her hug her brother's arm looking at me with a smile, then over at Goodwin with a serious determined look. "Cathy is right though. And I won't stay here if you don't let my brother come with us, even if he's not a signer!"
These two are so sweet! I'm glad that they can have each other to support the other. Leo also looked at Luna with gratitude in his eyes. "Luna..."
Smiling at the twins, I completely forgot who I was standing in front of till I heard him sigh. "Very well. I apologize to you both for my behavior, you are welcomed here as well."
Glancing back at him, I wanted to say more of what was on my mind but fought against it when the siblings cheered happily. So I just let it go stepping back away from him as Goodwin continued.
"Since that's all settled, please follow me inside. There is much we all need to discuss." Goodwin stated a final time before gesturing to his open front door.
When we all began following him to the inside of his castle, I felt a tug on my hand. Looking to the source I saw it was Leo with Luna next to him. "Cathy, thanks for sticking up for me. You too Luna, thank you."
Nodding with a smile, Luna gave a happy grin too, "of course. Like I said, us non-signers gotta stick together."
"Yeah and we'll save the world together Leo."
We all began to follow wherever Goodwin lead in this place. I walked next to the twins with Akiza ahead of me, while Jack and Yusei were ahead of her right behind the director. I tried to see the place and get a feel for it, but the minute we walked into the entry way, Rex Goodwin turned down a corner to a long hallway that was plain with the only light source being the lights on the ceiling.
When I said this dude was creepy, I was kind of exaggerating, yet this was just proving my point! And how long is this hallway?!
Yet I didn't notice it, but as we kept walking, my legs began to feel heavy. Almost with every step I was beginning to hesitate going further. And when I saw that finally at the end of the hallway was an elevator, I had to slow down.
Why am I feeling this all of a sudden? Is it just nerves? But why?
I feel off about an elevator! Or maybe I'm feeling off by where the elevator leads...
My thoughts were broken when Akiza went right next to me, noticing how slow I've become and behind the group I was. "Cat? Are you okay?"
Looking right at her, even if now I can't read her emotions I knew she was concerned. Can I stop worrying people for five minutes?!
Nodding though, all I did was just smile and say, "oh yeah I'm fine."
Then I followed everyone into the elevator when the doors opened after all Goodwin did was hit a button to the side. When we all piled in, my hand immediately grabbed my pendant watching as all the host of us here hit the down button.
I'm not just hesitating about all this... I'm afraid... but why?! Why do I suddenly feel this fear inside me?!
I even nearly jumped out of my skin when the elevator doors opened and everyone began following the tall man out. I also followed close behind everyone looking around the definitely new setting.
It almost felt like an ancient temple corridor or hallway, with columns lit up with torches at the top and the hallway made of stone. It remind me of something that would be in an ancient temple or castle...
Everyone kept walking ahead while I tried to keep up, yet as they kept going down the new hallway, my legs kept getting heavier and my mind was getting foggier. I barely could even hear Luna asking the director where on earth we were going.
I especially couldn't hear his answer or Jack's smart retort I'm sure he's saying... the fires of the torches, I just kept trying to avoid looking at them. Even so far as to shield the side of my eyes, and look down, but even that didn't work out. It all just kept surrounding me, making it hard to breathe and focus.
When I looked up, that dread feeling and fear I was no longer able to ignore grew heavier when I saw at the end of the hall a very ancient old stone door that had hieroglyphics etched all over it. My body froze immediately looking at it. That feeling wasn't coming from the door specifically, but what most likely laid beyond it.
My chest felt tight, and my throat felt like it had clamped up. The pendant in my tight palm got all slippery with my hand sweat. If the fire wasn't surrounding me before, it definitely was now. I could feel myself trying to catch my breath but it was getting harder to breathe more and more.
"I- I-..." I'm trying to speak but I can't get the words out! The group kept walking, not noticing what was happening to me right behind them. I wanted to follow them but my body won't move any closer to that door!
"I c- can't-..." I managed to croak out in a low voice which was luckily enough to get their attention.
Although my eyes were locked widely and tightly onto the entryway ahead of me past the group, I could still see their worried and concerned faces. Except Goodwin's who only was watching me.
Yusei immediately came up to me first and place his hand back on my shoulder right in front of me blocking the view of the door.
"Cathy? What's wrong?" He asked as I looked around frantically at all the torches feeling like they were gonna grow bigger ablaze and burn me!
My hyperventilating got harder and what made it worse is I don't know why! Why am I so afraid?! What's wrong with me?! This frustration isn't helping at all either!
"I- I don't kn-know!" Trying to stutter out my head felt like a ton of bricks. "I just can't go in there!"
Suddenly I felt arms around me and the red and black shirt with a blue jacket blocked all other things around me. I didn't even care if it was in the middle of a hallway with everyone around us, I just latched my arms around Yusei's torso burying my face in his chest to stop looking at everything, feeling somewhat better.
"Interesting." I heard Goodwin say some ways away, and I must definitely be feeling better cause I just got irritated by him! Yes me having a near panic attack cause your stupid creepy haunted ancient mansion is freaking me the heck out is 'interesting'!
But all I did was grumble in Yusei's chest as he patted my back comfortingly. I felt him shift a little and heard him say, "is there any other place we can talk? Do we have to go in there?"
"I'm sorry Yusei, but you all must follow me in here. For it holds the answers on the powers you all have, and how to possibly defeat the Dark Signers." Goodwin answered.
And judging by the tightening hold on my shoulders, that answer wasn't one he liked.
I then felt another hand on my arm, and peeked a little to see it was Luna with Leo right next to her looking up at me. Her head was tilted to the side with her eyes wide and looking into mine.
They are so sweet and kind, I just want to protect them and show nothing is wrong... but this stupid feeling in me is sort of preventing that... Plus Yusei needs to go in there... If it means also protecting the world...
So with a heavy sigh, I removed myself reluctantly from his hold and tried my best tp force a smile up at Yusei who looked back at me. "I'll be okay... You guys go in there and hear what needs to be said... I'll just go back up the elevator. I don't want to slow you guys back right now."
Immediately it didn't take long for me to know that Yusei also didn't like that answer either with his serious demeanor. Who could blame him? Last time I ran away cause of what I was feeling, wasn't because of the easiest thing...
"Cathy..."
Quickly raising my hand to stop him, then patting Luna's head assuringly, I interjected quietly, "it'll be fine. Just go in and tell me what you guy's learned. I'll just be waiting in the waiting room..."
Not leaving anything else up for debate, also just really wanting to get out of there, I went over back to the elevator hitting the button to the side. The doors slid open and I walked in before looking back at the others. They all were watching me as they also went through the ancient doors.
Both our ways began closing in front of us, and I kept trying to hold a smile saying I'm okay and will be fine. But right when they both closed completely, I locked eyes with Yusei one last time. Where I felt the emotions of worry, and guilt?

8 87Having a Common Game Ability In Normal Life
As long as i can remember, i can see something other people can't see Yes, on the top right of my vision, i have something that looks like a map, does it useful? how does something that blocks 1/32 of my vision to be useful? Does it have to be useful.. right? As i get older, this looks like "mini-map" in a video game that i played, so i decided to call this Mini-map at least I'm not the only one with this kind of thing.. from what I've found, everyone has different ability, for example my little sister can see another person status, there's a person that can heal wounds by eating meat, there's a person that once a day can spin roulette to get reward, there's a person that can jump twice in the air and there's a person that can throw fireballs..... wait a minute!? the story will be slow, since i just write this to train my english anyhow the idea of this story will be if someone can throw a fireball does their hand burns? if someone can jump for 30m can they survive the fall? if a bard play a song that can regen their allies, why’s the enemy isn’t regenerating? if a cleris creates a barrier can their allies attack from inside barrier? and About the first few chapter i know the grammar was really bad but it’ll help me if you guys read the first few chapter and go straight to the last and tell me have i improve or not P.S i hope The world has “common language” feature so everyone speak in the same tongue lol
