Last Time on Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories!! It's been a pretty long time since Yusei and I left New Domino City for Satellite! And even though we're still trying to keep going after that encounter with Kalin, Yusei and I have seemed to bond more! Well more on my side, but still it's progress and it's good since we talked about Akiza. I hope she's been doing alright and all the others. Especially since Yusei and I saw the same glow large mark lights that appeared like when Yusei dueled Kalin. But this time there was two over the city!! And if Yusei's mark glowed, that can only mean trouble... I just wish I could know who face off against who...
It was a new day after what Yusei and Cathy saw in Satellite last night. The latter sat on her old childhood bed still at Martha's, replaying what she saw while she stared at the purple ribbon on her wrist as well as looking at her deck thinking to herself.
'Over New Domino City was not just one Dark Signer skylight mark, or whatever they're called, but two! And the way Yusei's mark glowed too, that could only mean that either one or both were facing off against a signer! But which one...? Jack? Luna?! Or could it be Akiza...?'
She groaned and tightened her grip on her cards shutting her eyes tightly, "come on Moonlight Angel... I'm trying to connect to you but I can't..." When nothing inside of her changed, she sighed before flopping back on her bed to stare at the ceiling. "Being sent to voicemail by my own male duel spirit... That's nice."
'I know that he swore to protect Luna and Leo... But it would be nice if I could get a hold of him or them to know what's going on! Gosh why doesn't this place have a phone?!' Cathy turned over onto her side placing a hand on her chest closing her eyes gently now. 'Why am I getting such a bad feeling though...'
"Perhaps you are just sick with worry, my lady!" A high pitch soft voice said breaking the blonde's thought.
When she reopened her eyes and looked above her, Cathy saw the familiar fairy card of her's, Moonlight Fairy. "What have I told you about reading my mind?"
The small girl just gave a giggled and fluttered close to her card holder, sitting in front of the girls face. "You've said nothing my lady!"
"Well I should cause that's just rude." She teased poking slightly on the spirit's nose as if she could solidly feel it.
Fairy laughed again rubbing her nose, "but you read people's emotions all the time!"

Cathy huffed and rolled her eyes, "yeah well it's not like I have control of that! I honestly don't have a control of my powers at all now that I think about it..." She recalled the times where her strange powers happened, most of time when she was angry with someone or in pain. 'Kalin, Trickster when I was about to be brainwashed, Yusei when I was brainwashed, that Shadow lackey... Just what are my powers?! I can do some crazy things. Read emotions, see visions looking into someone's eyes, I'm connected to the Spirit World... What else could I do?'
"Your powers will grow more and more each day, my lady. You have to learn to control them."
"How can I when I don't even know what they are or where they come from? I know I'm not a Signer, I pray to the Potato Gods I'm not a Dark Signer, so what am I? And how can I use this to help Yusei and the others?"
Cathy laid back on her back and raised her hand up to stare at it as if something will begin to happen. "I'm sorry, but I can't really answer that my lady...." Fairy told her awkwardly and fiddled with the bottom of her dress.
"That's another thing!" Her voice exclaimed bolting upright. "Even my own duel spirits, who call me 'my lady' keep secrets from me when they act like I'm a queen or something! You guys won't tell me my past, you won't tell me what's going on, what are you all hiding?!" She interrogated now annoyed.
Fairy had a more awkward look as she tried to think of something and her eyes shifted around. "Um well..."
But before anything else could come out, the sound of an engine came from out her window as it sounded like a duel runner. Cathy was distracted for a second and looked away from Fairy to look outside, and when she turned back, the monster was gone. She groaned puffing up her cheek, "great... Coward."
With a heavy sigh she looked out of the window again to see Yusei working on his duel runner trying to fix it. While Blister sat a ways away on the computer. "Well I guess I sat up here long enough."
Cathy got up and got out of her room, beginning to walk down the hallway. She tried not thinking about the conversation she just had with Moonlight Fairy, but it just kept weighing on her mind.
"Cathy? Where are you going?" She turned her head to see Annie walking out of one of the many spare rooms Martha had. She was rubbing her eyes tired like with a yawn, so Cathy could only assume she just woke up from a nap.
"I'm going to go see Yusei and Blister. Wanna come?" The blonde offered the small girl who's face seemed to immediately light up while she nodded and running up to her.
"Yeah! Itsuki is too busy dueling with Crow and the others last I heard." Annie informed her older sister/ caretaker who picked her up into her arms.
She began walking again to where she wanted to go hearing what she said, "ah! So that means Crow is getting his butt whooped?" She asked jokingly.
Annie laughed shaking her grinning widely, "nah! It's most likely the other way around."
Cathy laughed more walking outside now, quickly saying one last time, "ye of little faith to your brother," before she looked to where the older boys were and saw them both next to each other by Yusei's duel runner.

Yusei and Blister seemed to be looking at the computer the latter was holding, and when Cathy walked closer to hear what they were saying, she caught an ear of the conversation.
"Are you going try and use your signer powers to help her?" She heard Blister ask.
"I want to try... But I don't think I can..."
Cathy cleared her throat while Annie looked very lost as to when they were saying. "What are you guys taking about?" The former asked the two guys who turned and finally noticed them.
Blister held the laptop and through his shifting eyes, Cathy could feel his anxiousness. When he looked at Yusei who gave a subtle nod, his emotions change to almost worry. It was evident why when he showed her the screen of the laptop and she saw two giant marks burned into the earth in New Domino City and only was tall building stood left.
"Is that...?" Cathy asked wide eyed as it was confirmed that her eyes didn't play tricks on her last night.
"Cathy? What is that?" Annie asked with her voice shaking as she knew just the way her big sister like caretaker looked like it weighed in her mind.
"Something not good." Blister answered for her.
The blond looked to Yusei with a serious look asking the question in her head, "is that the Arcadia Movement?" She asked referring to that lone building still standing amongst the carnage.
Yusei gave another nod with a sigh following it, "yeah. They were probably going after Akiza. She's in the hospital right now in a coma..."
Cathy gasped at hearing what's become of her friend back in the city. "We have to go back! She might need us! And if there are two marks that means there was two Dark Signers there."
"I know but..." Yusei didn't finish his sentence while he looked down at his right arm with an intent look.
"It's a lot harder to get from Satellite to the city then it is the other way around." Blister told her as Cathy tried to remain calm.
Annie patted Cathy's shoulder as to also try and soothe her but gasped when the wind really began to pick up around them. She held on tightly thinking that she might blow away with how powerful it was.
"Are tornadoes normal here?!" Cathy asked also trying to brace herself from this breeze.
"No it's a helicopter!" They all looked up to see a large white helicopter landing down to where they were. From what they could see there was only only one person inside as he was flying it.
"Aww but I wanna hear!!" Annie whined as she was now currently trying to beg me to let her stay in the dining room where Martha, Yusei, Blister and now Akiza's father were inside.
I was at the doorway with a tray of drinks in my hands Martha wanted me to make for our guest, as I was currently tying not to let Annie inside. "Sorry sweetie but the grownups have to talk." I said to reason with the small girl.
"I promise I won't talk or make noise. Please!" Pouting her lip and widening her chocolate eyes, she was trying to use the ultimate weapon on me! But I had to resist cause this was serious stuff and she's young and would be bored and-
"Ugh!! Fine! But one peep and your peep is in the hallway again!" I caved.
"Deal!" The light brunette ran past me Andy back into the room hopping up onto the chair next to Yusei with a grin looking at the older man seated in front of them. Blister was leaning against the wall of the room to listen and Martha, who stood next to Akiza's father, gave me a 'seriously?' look when she saw I let Annie just walk right in.
I puffed my cheek while serving the tea, which is definitely not as good as Sakura's, and coffee. "Cut me some slack, I was backed into a corner." I countered handing a cup of coffee to the man that visited here in a helicopter.
But when I placed the cup down, I didn't hesitate to give Mr Izinski a cold look to him. From what I remember and heard from Akiza, he ain't exactly father of the year here. Though I did feel worry, fear, remorse, guilt, and sadness into his eyes so I guess he does know what he did. When he looked at me and I guess saw my cold look, the fear slightly increased. Probably cause my eyes are shining with flecks as I'm reading his emotions.
He began to speak when I finally moved away and stood at one end of the table next to Annie and Martha.
"Thank you for seeing me, Mr Fudo. My name is Hideo Izinski, and someone told me that you and Ms Sullivan can help my daughter, Akiza Izinski."
"Us?" I asked fairly shocked that he would also include me in that sentence considering I'm not known that well unlike Yusei. Though I did face him the finals of the fortune cup.
"How do you know about us Mr Congressman?"
Mr Izinski looked down at his cup of coffee intently like it was going to burn him. Jeez man I didn't make it that hot! "I heard about you both from an accomplice of your's, Jack Atlas." Huh so Jack told him about us? Why was he there with Akiza? Well there was two Dark Signers there.
"He told me that you," he lifted his head to face and look at Yusei while continuing to speak, "faced off against my daughter in a tournament and managed to get close to her. To see her heart." Guess that happened while I was being brainwashed...
He then turned to look at me and I continued to give him an icy stare, "And you, Ms Sullivan, I heard worked in that Arcadia Movement with my daughter. You might know her and what she's feeling."
"Begrudgingly I worked there." I told him flatly as I remembered that awful place. The fact that they tortured me to add fake memories, they also tortured more people, oh they also kidnapped me from Yusei and my friends, used my amnesia to their advantage, brainwashed me when I rebelled, and their food sucked!!
"But yes I know and am fairly close to Akiza. She was one of my first friends when I was brought there."
He looked back down muttering to himself, "she made friends... That's good."
Now looking at this guy, I kind of pity him. I can feel that pushing Akiza away must've really eaten him away and he probably never really saw his daughter. Though it was his main fault of that factor.
"Why do you think we can help her with her coma, sir?" Yusei asked Hideo as I was curious about it myself. Yeah she is close to us but I don't think Akiza forgives us either.
"My daughter is in a coma... Because of a heart ache she had, the doctors say. And I can't help her cause we pushed her away!" Mr Izinski cried as his remorse and regret were getting stronger to the point I could feel myself suffocating. I walked over to Yusei to stand behind him and I guess through one look at each other in the eyes he understood why I did so.
"We pushed her into the arms of that Arcadia Movement and Sayer is missing, we had to turn to you for help!"
Huh so Swoops disappeared?! Maybe one of those Dark Signers got to him! "Oh no." I said with no amount of emotion in my voice. Yeah I don't feel remorseful at all. But Martha gave me that look, and I quickly shut my mouth.
"Why don't you take a deep breath sir," Martha told him placing that motherly hand on his shoulder, "and start at the beginning. Cause my Yusei and Cathy have already been though a lot and I'm not going to just let them gallivant on out of here in their condition."
Mr Izinski looked at her and did as she said, taking a deep breath in and out. Before he looked ahead back at us. "Right... The beginning... I guess things really took a turn for the worst when she was around the age of that little girl right here," he said referring to Annie still sitting really quietly which I'm surprised at. "I missed her 8th birthday. I was so crammed with work and meetings, and trying to put on a front for the press. But I know that's not an excuse..."
I tried not to intensely look into his eyes cause I knew if I did I would see the visions of Akiza's past from his memories. But even if I tried to fight off my capabilities, I could still see that through his eyes, walking through a door, there was a little girl with light burgundy hair asleep at a table in front of a birthday cake that didn't look to be touched.
I was now the one who had to look away. I felt so bad for Akiza... "I knew I had to make it up to her somehow. So I gave her the deck that I remember she wanted so badly so that way she could begin dueling. The next day she was so ecstatic and happy waking up to the gift I got her. But I had to leave again for another long trip... And she got so upset."
'Well yeah... All she wanted was for you to spend time with her. She was only a child how was she supposed to understand.' Was what I wanted to say out loud, but just looked back up at him and let him continue telling what happened.
"I tried spending as much time as I could with Akiza, but it felt like ever since that day, there was a gaping hole between us. So I did all I could to make time for Akiza and I to have that duel she wanted. Things were going well at first... Until..." Akiza's father paused as I could see is fist tightened and shake, "I got this call. I had another sudden meeting... And that's when she snapped. She played this card, and when it hit me, it felt like pure real pain and damage! I was shot to the wall by such unnatural force!"
Another vision appeared into his eyes that I could see, and this one caused me to tighten my grip onto the tray I still held. It was where small Akiza stood there, surprised and scared surrounded by so many flames. But she wasn't scared of the fire, but most likely her father who was on the ground in this point of view.
I tried to keep a calm composure, but I could feel my breathing get heavy trying not imagine the fire. So I looked away shutting my eyes, trying imagine something else while he kept speaking.
"Then this strange red mark appeared on her! I was so scared and shocked I didn't know what was going on or even what Akiza was! And when she tried going to me after all of this... I... I called her a monster in my moment of panic!"
My eyes snapped open once more hearing that word. That dreadful disgusting word.
'You're just a monster!' No! Not these voices!
'A freak!'
'Monsters like you should be locked in a cage!!'
These voices! They were children voices but they continuously echoed all around my mind, but then they changed to more of crowds.
'Get that freak out of here!'
'We don't need anymore casualties monster!'
Then that word kept replaying all around my head! Over and over again and I can't drown them out!! Make them shut up!
"I immediately regretted what I said to her! I tried apologizing but she-" he immediately shut up when I suddenly slammed the tray down on the table creating a loud clash.
It startled everyone as they all looked at me with wide eyes, but I just stared at this man. Something in me just wanted to release all of this. "You should be sorry." I growled out trying to remain calm. But my blood was boiling intensely with something else growing as well. "She didn't need to be called that. She was a scared little girl who needed reassurance from the only person who could give it to her! You should feel guilty. It's all your fault."
And as if on my words while that man was looking into my eyes, his were suddenly filled with guilt! Remorse and regret were becoming stronger in him that he gripped his chest and tears started swelling in his eyes. Those words he told to a small child! No one should hear that! No one should be blamed or treated like that when they have no control!
I didn't want to let go of what my powers were doing, until I felt a hand grasp my wrist, not too tightly but just enough to pull me out of my focus. I looked to the source and found Yusei looking at me sternly and Annie looking at me scared... What was I doing? Why did I just suddenly feel such anger...?
Taking a step back and looking down I had to collect my thoughts. I was in control but what I just did... I could read his emotions, but it felt like I was also enhancing or manipulating them... And I scared Annie...
"I know I can never take back what I said... And that pain I caused her, I only greatened it with how little I could understand and it frustrated me to the point I couldn't even be in the same house as my daughter! So I sent her away to Duel Academy... Cause I heard they've dealt with powerful children before!" I heard him continue. I didn't want to look at Mr Izinski. I could tell by his voice though he sounded a bit better after what I did. I didn't want to read them though.
I felt a new hand though in mine, and looked to see Annie looking up at me. Her eyes filled with fear but also worry. Just saying nothing, I gave a small smile and picked her up into my arms for a hug. Just something I needed to calm myself while hearing this sad story.
