Finally!! Holy sweet potatoes I pushed this chappie off to the side for too long!! Oi vei and all cause of writers block and just nothing seemed to fit in the chapter! Like this one was more cause I need to get this done in order to get to the next part. So yeah it's a little awkward and short.

But hey!! At least our favorite blonde is back!! So yeah I hope you guys still enjoy it and tell me what you think!!

Last time in Yugioh 5Ds Lost Memories!! Yusei Fudo went off to face agaisnt the Dark Signers alone without any help! And the minute I heard that I knew I had to quickly find him and make sure he was okay! But by the time i did get to to him, he was facing off against an old psycho friend named Kalin Kessler who suddenly summoned an Earthbound Immortal that was HUGE!! I even watched when it attacked Yusei but his duel runner broke down saving him. Barely though as the crash caused a glass shard to puncture his stomach. Crow and I took him to Martha where she treated him as best she could. While I moped around blaming myself... after words from Martha I realized that I have to be there for Yusei and try to help him as best I can!! No matter what!

Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu roared and growled while Kalin's laugh and voice echoed throughout. "Now my Earthbound Immortal give Yusei a one way ticket to the Shadow Realm!!!" He declared while the giant beast raised and brought down its hand towards Yusei.

He cried out seeing the deadly fist come closer to him before he was suddenly shrouded in nothing. But he heard the voices of his once old best friend Kalin and his other best friend Cathy around him. Their voices were distorted as he couldn't make out the words and the pain in his side made him dull to anything around him. But then the soft voice of his blonde magenta streaked friend was the only thing he could focus on.

"Yusei... I'm so sorry... Come on Yusei... You can do it. You have to get through this." She sounded sad and scared. Her voice was shaky as he could hear it crack a few times.

He tried calling out to her but it was like his voice couldn't carry anywhere. That it wasn't even there.

"Yusei please... Wake up!!!" She suddenly yelled out as an image of Ccapac Apu flashed in front of him in a split second surprising the male as his eyes shot open.

Gasping for air like he hadn't taken a breath for an hour, Yusei's body shot upright now fully awake panting. Though he hadn't noticed where he was as he looked around the room confused though it did look familiar.

When his eyes moved down he noticed he was in a white bed shirtless. But on his lower torso around his stomach was wrapped up in bandages. Lightly touching it with his fingertips, he let out a groan of discomfort when his abdomen gave a dull throb. Sighing he looked around the infirmary again.

"Hello?" He asked out but only got a groan in response coming from his left.

Not even seeing and just now noticing the weight on his left hand being held tightly. There, holding his hand and resting half her body bent on the bed and the other half sitting in a chair, slept Cathy Sullivan. Her blonde and pink hair held back by a headband but still all over the place covering her face.

"Cathy?" Yusei asked quietly as to not want to disturb her. Her only response though was another groan before shifting her head laying on his hand to face his direction. That's when he took notice of her new attire and style while also seeing that under her eyes were puffed up dark circles like she had been crying. He was about to call her name out again till the curtains to the right of him opened up as he saw Martha walk in.

"Let her sleep now Yusei, but it's about time your awake. With how long you've been resting the others were thinking you were dead." She said walking to him smiling.

Yusei looked surprised to see her. "Martha? What happened?"

"You got into a duel runner accident and got badly injured."

He paused looking down trying to remember what she was talking about till the whole duel between him and Kalin came back in his head. The Earthbound Immortal and the hand that was coming down towards him. Then he remembered that something blew on his duel runner, imagining the pain he soon felt afterwards then once again, darkness. "Oh yeah..."

"Ah you remember now! Good. I've told you and the others many times now just how dangerous dueling was. I mean take a look at your runner. Your friends pushed that thing all the way here sacrificing their decks, shirts, and immune system all because they knew how much it meant to you." Martha lectured placing her hands on his hips shaking her head slightly.

The dark haired male looked out the window to where he saw his red runner outside being admired and inspected by some of the orphans that lived here. He was surprised to see it there as he remembered falling off of it during the duel and just assumed it was still on the streets in a wreck or very more damaged. But no it was right there.

"And just look at Cathy." Both their heads turned to see the blonde still fast asleep holding Yusei's hand tighter while snoring lightly. "The girl has had almost a heart attack I'm sure. Then immediately after a quick talk went here to be by your side and hasn't left it since."

"Martha... About Cathy-." Yusei tried to begin while he still watched the girl rest feeling a wave of guilt wash over him. He knew Cathy didn't like telling others of her amnesia, and only wondered how Martha would take to the news.

"Don't worry. Crow already told me and she confirmed it." Martha placed a hand on his shoulders giving it a gentle squeeze. "You can stop blaming yourself for her disappearance, Yusei. You found her and she's alive. That's all that matters."

He said nothing watching Martha walk behind her grabbing an apple and beginning to peel it. "You know. I always hoped and prayed that it was you both who would be the ones to get out of the Satellite. Start a new and better life whether it'd be together or not. Just a real life where you're both happy and free. And when Cathy disappeared and you swore to get her back, I honestly had hoped you'd find her in the city and that you two would be there and stay there."

She began cutting the peeled apple into small slices while she continued. "So it just pains me that you both are here. Both of you hurting. One physically and the other emotionally."

"I know Martha, but I had to come back. We both did. There's s force here in Satellite that is dangerous and will kill us all! I have to stop these Dark Signers from-."

"That's enough Yusei. I believe you..." She said to him looking back at his serious expression before going back to what she was doing. "But why are you trying to take them alone?"

"I have to."

"And what about Cathy? How does she feel about you deciding to face these people alone? I'm sure with how vocal she is, she's already told you." Martha told him making him look down and back again at the blonde. "You have friends Yusei. People who will stand by you thick and thin. Even Jack... You two were so close and I know you two can be once again if you both just forgave and forget. I know and understand how stubborn he can be and you too, but it's about time you guys made up."

She picked up the plate of apple slices she made and brought them over to him. "You need your friends by your side and I'm tired of you trying to ride this solo. Cause I'm also tired of pulling out glass shards from your wounds and consoling Cathy when she has a panic attack every time you get hurt!"

Yusei gratefully took the plate from her hearing what she said and knew she was right, like she always was, "Alright. Thank you Martha."

"You don't have to thank me Yusei." She was about to turn around and leave till she turned back to face him, "but one other thing. If you leave here before I say you can, then I'll put you back in that bed myself! Understood?" She told him sternly.

Though he only smiled and gave a light chuckle nodding, "okay. I understand."

Smiling now sure herself he got the message she began to walk out of the room leaving him there.

Yusei put the plate down on his lap and stared at his red Crimson Dragon mark on his right arm before looking at Cathy. He took a deep breath and lightly began poking her cheek. "Cathy?" He called to her trying to wake her up.

She groaned with her eyebrows furrowed and looked almost scared and sad when tears began leaking from her eyes. "No.... Stop..." She mumbled out.

I was running. I didn't know to where and I didn't know how I got to this point. But nothing was around me yet I knew I had to get there. But where?

I could hear rain and thunder all around me. Then lightning struck somewhere illuminating everything as my eyes could see just where I was. Run down buildings and roads everywhere, with trash and cracks covering the sidewalk. And even through the pouring rain I could hear another pair of footsteps running beside.

"This way!! He has to be here!" I could hear my voice echo around. "Kalin!!" I called out but my voice drowned in the rain.

My own feet turned to an alleyway where lightning flashed one more time to where I could see a figure looming over another one as it laid on the ground. Motionless, The one standing was now who I could recognize as Kalin Kessler with a crazed smile in his face looking down at a Sector Security officer on the floor..

"Kalin?! What have you done?!" The person who's been following me asked and I knew it was Yusei.

He looked at us with evil in his eyes. He was enjoying what he had done and also there was want in it. Either want to do more or want for something else. "I did what I had to do to make sure we let even Security know that they shouldn't be messing with us!! This is our town now!!"

"Kalin please this has to stop!" I yelled to him. "Let's just go home together and-"

"No!!! You don't get to say anything Cathy!! You stopped me then and now you're stopping me again but not this time!"

He suddenly looked to me and began running to me until Yusei went past me and tackled him down to the ground. They rolled and tussled out of the other end of the alley into the street! I gasped and ran to them tears falling from my eyes as I watched them begin fighting. I could hear sirens coming closer from the distance but couldn't move my legs.

"No!! Stop it you guys!! Yusei! Kalin! Stop!"

Yusei had Kalin pinned on the ground while the rain poured harder and the thunder roared louder. "Let me go!! You'll both pay for this you hear me?! It's all your fault!"

Then with that said, Satellite became surrounded by darkness as a void underneath me swallowed me whole as I fell in screaming! Kalin's voice echoed around me while falling deeper!

"It's you're fault Cathy! You turned them against me! You set me up!" His words kept repeating over and over and over again!! I know these words! I don't want to remember them! "I will come back Cathy! And I will destroy you!"

Suddenly I landed on something and when I looked up I saw Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu as I was in it's hand though it wasn't just him around me. More giant beasts were surrounding and looking at me! I recognized them as like the marks rom my vision with Artemus!!

I looked at them with terror as Ccapac Apu began closing its fist with me inside. Panicking I tried getting up but my arms were bound and immobile. "No! Stop!!" I struggled more while tears leaked my face seeing the hand closing completely.

"Yusei should've left you in that fire." Was Kalin's last words just before I felt a warm touch on my cheek along with Yusei's voice next calling out my name.

That's when my eyes shot open and I nearly flew out of the chair sitting straight up gasping. "Cathy?! Are you alright?"

I didn't even know where I was for a second looking around the room... Then when I looked to my right and locked eyes with Yusei's blue eyes everything came back to me where I was and why I was here. And that reason made me immediately latch onto Yusei! Not even remotely remembering anything that's happened before.

"Oh my gosh Yusei you're awake!! You're okay!!" I practically cried out into his shoulder squeezing him as tight as I could.

But then he groaned out in pain saying, "t- thanks Cathy but careful..." I let go of him and looked back at him apologetically chuckling nervous cause oh yeah, he just came out of surgery!

"Ehehe... Sorry bout that... I'm just, so happy that you're awake and okay." I mumbled wiping my eyes and sitting back down in the chair.

We then sat there in silence, and I swear if I had a butter knife this tension could be cut smoothly in half! And could be smeared on so many toasted slices of bread. And now I'm hungry...

"How are you feeling?" Yusei asked cutting the butter silence.

Giving a dry chuckle I looked up at him rolling my eyes shaking my head, "shouldn't I be asking you that?" I paused. Trying to find the right words to say what I wanted to say. "I was really worried Yusei... I saw that hand come down at you and..." The memory of what I saw from his duel, Ccapac Apu bringing his hand to where I remembered Yusei was dueling at, came in my head and I gripped my sweater. "I wanted to help you there Yusei... Even if I can't I wanted to at least try..."

"Cathy. I'm sorry." I didn't say anything and listened. "I felt like I have to take on these Dark Signers alone cause of this mark and cause all of Satellite is at risk. That ever since I learned what this Crimson Dragon mark is, I have a duty to make sure that this threat doesn't take anymore lives and friends away. That's why I went on my own, to try and protect you all as quick as I could... But the Dark Signers are more powerful then we thought..."

A part of me wanted to be angry and just upset like I've mostly been in these kind of situations. Release all the emotions I've been bottling and wrapping up in a spicy tuna casserole! And yet there was also a part of me that didn't want to in front of Yusei. Cause I could understand what he was saying.

"I understand where you're coming from Yusei. This is a force trying to destroy your home, and apparently only those with the mark of this stinking Crimson Dragon can take it down. And though remember nothing of this place or our time together here, but I don't need my empathic abilities to feel how much this place means to you and the people."

I took his left hand that was placed next to me on the bed and look into is eyes. I was a bit angry at first but I know that he doesn't need to hear it, for now. So I just will tell him this, "you told me that you're with me no matter if I have memories or not. That you want to help me. Well this time, let me help you and be there for you. Through all of this. You also said back in the cargo plane that you don't want to do this alone, and you have 4 other signers to help you. With all five of you guys, you all will be sure to win against them!" I squeezed his hand gently and chuckled sheepishly, "and I'm sorry that I wanted to snap at you for ditching us, and also not seeing how much pressure this is being put onto you... You nearly risked your life to try and find a faster way to save the world..."

Looking at me I then saw him smile a little and nod at me, "thank you Cathy but it's okay. I didn't want to tell you cause I understand you've been having a lot of pressure as well." Have I been put on a lot of pressure? Maybe with my memory stuff even though I've kinda given up on that, but with the whole juggling the Arcadia Movement and trying to figure things out here I guess so...

"How bout we begin to be more honest with each other about what's going on in our minds before one of us gets hurt again?!" I joked to lighten the mode, letting go of his hand and swiping one of the peeled apple slices I saw on a plate in his lap. Taking a bite I then pointed at Yusei after swallowing the fruit, "But the next time you wanna do some late night hunting of Dark Signers, save some room on that duel runner for me! Cause if you go down, I'm coming with ya!"

Yusei's smile dropped as he looked out the window behind me to where when I looked I saw his runner that was being played on by the kids. I looked back at him and saw how his face was now serious and he looked to be feeling and thinking something hard.

I wish I could feel what was on his mind though...

"Um... So anyways! How is your side doing?" I asked trying to steal another apple slice away from him, but he moved the plate away before I could take one! I glared at him jokingly upset as he looked at his bandaged side which I just realized now he is shirtless!

"It's a null pain but I know I'll be okay... I don't really remember the pain when it happened either." He told me while I stared at his bare torso. Wait... What?! Why am I staring at him...

"Um well it's probably good you don't remember that pain at all cause it was super bad. Though I wouldn't know cause I wasn't in the crash..." I am not making the situation better am I? Looking around the room for any way of escape I saw the clock on the wall and got up from my seat, "oh would you look at the time! I promised Crow and Martha I'd help them with, stuff! Important busy stuff that needs my attention! You best get dressed but don't push yourself! I'll see you later!"

Walking to the doorway, Yusei stopped me right in my tracks as I just took the handle, "Cathy wait."

"Um yeah?" I asked trying to hide the awkwardness in my voice. Why was I being awkward?! It's just Yusei!

Looking back at him and taking my pendant in my other hand, Yusei gave me a gentle small smile, and in his eyes for the first time ever, I felt gratefulness and happiness emotions in them. "Thank you. I'm glad to have you watching my back."

Something in my chest swelled at what he said and how, for even that split second, I saw what he was feeling. I grinned back happily and nodded, "of course. I'll watch it like a hawk! Now put on a shirt and get better soon." I told him opening the door and exiting the room.

I knew he was watching me till I closed the door behind myself and stood in the hallway still as a statue. Before gripping my necklace and leaning against the door. "What just happened?" I asked myself not even sure at all! That felt so rushed and like I couldn't think of anything else to say... The feeling in my chest when he said that to me, I felt so happy and uplifted. Like a kid being told a good job. He really is happy that I'm with him. I could see it in his eyes for once!

"Eww Crow! Cathy's got a creepy expression on her face!"

I turned my head to see Itsuki right next to Crow who was carrying Annie. I'm guessing that carrot top went back to get them from the hideout since they were all alone and I wanted to see them again.

"Watch what you say Itsuki or she'll make that expression again! Then we'll have nightmares for weeks!" Crow joked laughing as I glared at them all playfully puffing up one of my cheeks.

"Ha ha ha! Oh really now?! Watch it! I'm a force that even the Dark Signers fear!" I joked walking to them.

Itsuki laughed and ran off already to go outside and be with the other kids. Not before taunting at me! "You're scarier then them that's for sure!"

"Oh shush!" I told him while taking his little sister into my arms who laughed at her older brother.
