(Stevonnie and the others turn to the Gem who shouted at them from behind.)

(Before Lapis finished reading, she noticed that Stevonnie and Peridot were whispering.)

(Lapis walks up Stevonnie and Peridot, turning her back on Garnet.)

(Garnet spreads her arms out in order to hold Lapis, but she turns around and notices just in time, so she quickly summons her water wings, forming fists from them, with which she punches Garnet in the chest, knocking her back.)

*enraged* What the heck were you trying to do?!

Dang, just what I was afraid of. *adjusts her visors* She noticed.

Garnet, are you all right?! *runs to her aid*

Yes, I'm fine.

*angered* You!! Looking closely, none of you Gems wears the emblem of our empire on your bodies.

Tch, she found us out.

(Lapis begins to use her hydrokinetic powers, causing the whole area to shake and rumble loudly.)

*bewildered* Wh-what's going on? Why is it shaking?

(Everybody's running down the hallway as fast as they can.)

*running* I think we lost her back there!

(Stevonnie and the others managed to run away, but suddenly, in front of them the floor and walls begin to break open as a large amount of water flows from the inside.)

You're not going anywhere, you traitorous clods!

(A giant Lapis-shaped water clone has formed, completely destroying much of the palace's hallways.)

Where is all this water coming from?

From underground water pipes throughout Homeworld!

There's no way I'm letting you get away this time! *makes a big water ball* Take this!!

(Lapis hurls the water ball at Stevonnie and the others, hitting them directly and the impact knocks them flying out of the palace. All they managed to do was hide behind the resulting rubble.)

*in pain* That hurt *rubbing their head* Wait, what did she mean "this time"?

*in fear* What are we supposed to do now?

*adjusts her visors* Let's fight!

No way! We can't fight her! If we fight, everyone on Homeworld will find out about us.

We don't have a choice, guys, trust me or she will kill us!

*ignores Stevonnie* Amethyst! Pearl! Let's go!

(Amethyst, Pearl & Garnet leave there to fight Lapis.)
